sexyLeamon: I like nice guys. I don't run away from nice guys. You have to date all sorts of people before you know what you want; that's true to everyone. The "jerks" know how to manipulate feelings so girls think they are nice, but really, they've just been manipulated. Nice guys don't know how to manipulate feelings so they usually don't get the girls until these girls that got played develop their Bullsh*t meters. GBAM! Crude Oil: Most girls dont value nice guys. They would fantasize over some thug they met at the club. |

Ije004: Once upon a time American music ruled the airwaves. Once upon a time i used to love music from the Backstreet Boys to NSYNC , from Micheal Jackson to Madonna, from TLC to Tupac. From Jarule to Mary .J. Blige, from Destinys Child to Nickelback. But recently i found out that i hardly turn on the radio or watch MTV/MTV Base without wanting to pull my hair out, not because Naija music has improved tremendously in its quality over the past few years, but for the fact that for the past 2-3 years so many American artistes have been turning out so much crap. Take a look at newbies like Lady Gaga. How many of you can relate to the crap she sings? Even the likes of Beyonce and Akon who used to turn out hits seem to be joining the bandwagon of mediocrity lately. Are they not British? |

Sagamite: Is this the Bleep what state governments should be doing with their allocations when they are churning out beggars like California is churning out IT entreprenuers?
Should they not be looking at how to develop some business activities within their state with the limited resources?
They are churning out beggars and Lagos is suppose to open doors to accept them?
Ramadan: Bauchi feeds Muslims with N50m
IN its determination to assist indigent Musilms in the state during the month of Ramadan, the Bauchi state government is to spend N49.5million to feed about 6,000 people for the 30 days fasting period.
This was disclosed by the 2009 Ramadan Feeding Committee, led by its Chairman, Salisu Shehu, while addressing newsmen on on Thursday at the Conference Hall of the State Ministry of Budget and Planning. He said that the exercise would be carried out on daily basis for 30 days in 71 mosques within Bauchi metropolis and its environs, just as it was done in the last two years when the exercise was first introduced by the Mallam Isa Yuguda-led administration.
According to the committee chairman, the exercise, which will be extended to all 20 local governments in the state, was initiated by the Yuguda administration in order to assist the less privileged during the Muslim Holy month, declaring that, “the intention of government is to serve as an example to the privileged individuals to take up the responsibilities of caring for those who have nothing to eat during this period.

After your initial treatment, you may post more of your disjointed thoughts on this court case, but you will require adult supervision for a while yet.
While you are recuperating a safe distance away from your computer keyboard, we can only be heartened by the reassuring knowledge that the Nudist Juju Practitioners Coalition, of the failed court action fame in Ogun State, can now regale their wives with accounts of the 15 minutes of fleeting recognition accorded them when the world's internet audience marvelled over the sheer idiocy of their naked greed, the monstrous size of their blubber-guts, and the apparent absence of any discernible Instruments in their full-frontal butt-nekkid publicity pictures taken during sacrificial rites ceremonies that were conducted at their fetish witchdoctor's jungle shrine, aimed at magically influencing the outcome of the case that they later lost resoundingly . |

morpheus24: I agree with the threat of war as a negotiating tool to effect compromise or effect change as some block heads won't move an inch until someone scares the bejesus out of them, However I am petrified that this power is growing in the hands or may fall into the hands of individuals who I deem incompetent and whose actual motive is not the actualization of a stable nigeria but really are a disgruntled few who want a piece of the pie.
They are not out for the people. The RUF started in this same fashion. Look at what they did to their own brothers. In the end was there real progress in sierra leone. I guess thats for the next generation to judge.
As for Nigeria I have seen no politician nor group with the principles that demonstrate true patriotism even within a given ethnic groups.
Until I hear and recognise that voice, Truthfuly I don't really know what the answer is. You might wait for eternity for that until the various constitiuents that make up the country come to a viable way and option of running the country. Also not every successful country in europe is homogenous eg spain. |

Non-Executive Directors of Intercontinental Arrested •EFCC meets bank CEOs, prepares debtors’ final list By Ayodele Aminu, 08.26.2009
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested the six non-executive directors of Intercontinental Bank Plc including its chairman, Mr. Raymond Obieri.
They were picked up on Monday after they were invited for questioning over the huge debt profile of the bank.
Reasons also emerged yesterday as to why the EFCC, which is now set to prosecute the managing directors of the five troubled banks under the Banking and Other Financial Acts (BOFIA), had been finding it pretty difficult to do so after detaining the former bank chiefs for more than a week. Meanwhile, EFCC Chairman Farida Waziri met with all the newly appointed Managing Directors of the five troubled banks yesterday in a bid by the commission to prepare a final list of loan defaulters.
The five other directors of Intercontinental Bank already cooling off their feet at EFCC office in Lagos are Mr. Christopher Adebayo Alabi, Chief Samuel Adegbite, Mrs. Toyin Phillips, Dr. Sanni Adams and Mr. Bayo Dada.
Confirming the arrest of the Intercontinental Bank directors to THISDAY last night, EFCC Spokesman Femi Babafemi said they were alleged to be involved in some shady deals, bad loans and using fictitious names to obtain loans among others. http://www.thisdayonline.com/nview.php?id=152731 |
