Anger and fustration over what? huh.Who doesn't know this kind of fraud is going to get worse especially with situation in nigeria where fraud is now celebrated.

The question is whether they have the the courage, mind to revolt against there leaders.I do not know about you but i served in the north and from what i saw there expecting revolution from them against there leader is like expecting a camel to pass an eye of the needle.I do not think you know the stranglehold these hausa/fulani leaders have on their people

What do you mean except lagos governer Fashola? Is he not a politician or a governor with a nigerian blood? Is he from jupiter?

Okay i will tell you that Governor fashola is a failure and i will tell you a reason.Which one is more important to the average or poor lagosian;(1)repairing of the poor roads in lagos or planting trees?why not use the money used in this b
eautification for the repair of these roads.

Foreign Affairs › Re: The Great Nation Of Biafra by asha80(m): 12:21am On Nov 03, 2008
Personally i do not think biafra will become reality because igbos have settled in many places in nigeria and set up a whole lot of businesses and investments throughout the whole country even more than any other tribe in nigeria.
Quite frankly i do not think igboland as it is can contain all the igbos in the country who come back to igboland assuming BIAFRA becomes reality(ie if every igbo person is to come back).

The problem with nigeria(one of the problems anyway)is that nigerians do not love nigeria.why am i saying this?If you love something you will always want the best for that thing. How many nigerians can comfortably do something for nigeria without really caring if that thing is going to favour his ethnic group as far as he knows it for the overall good of the country?

The other day i read and heard the president signed an agreement with SIEMENS for th construction of power stations around the country ie if the contract is going to be executed by the way.You can imagine that the southeast was the only zone that had no power station to be built on it.The powerstation that was meant to use coal was designated to be sighted in BENUE when everyone knows that ENUGU is the coal capital of nigeria.

Politics › Re: $44 Million Fraud: Fbi Declares Nigerian Wanted Like Bin Ladin by asha80(m): 5:04pm On Nov 02, 2008
All of you guys saying that these yahoo or 419 guys are giving us bad name are quite correct.

However if you think they the only ones giving us a bad name then you are gravely mistaken.See all these report of official and political corruption and embezzelment that we are embarassed with everyday in nigeria do you honestly think outsiders do not know about this? All it takes is a click on the computer.

Look all you are seeing now is the manifestation of the corrupt tendencies of our rulers showing on the citizens and quite frankly from iam seeing among most of our youths is that this is simply going to get worse so simply brace up for it!

Kobojunkie you are a very funny guy.Somebody came and opened a thread that a governeor is a failure without saying where he has failed(i am not saying he a 100percent success either) and you are busy saying those criticizing the @poster should list his achievements

It is like me coming to say that Governor fashola is a failure without given reasons.i am very sure people in this nairaland will descend on me.

Anybody that does not know that nigeria is a finished country can wait till die kingdom come to see a better nigeria.
The truth is that most(if not) of the rulers and our so called representatves see nigeria as an enterprise to make money from and NOT a country to serve and develop sad
Until we(nigerians both home and abroad) really put our foot down to stop this madness and decide what we really want from nigeria then i would not be suprised if a well known AREA BOY,ALMAJIRI OR STARK ILLITERATE TRADER assumes any kind of political post in nigera.
