TheGoodJoe: Bloody Liar.
Kelechi Iheanacho joined Taye Academy as an under 10 player. Are you saying he was 17years old playing in an U10 team with Children of ten years?
You guys can lie. Tufiakwa. so? Did he tell you that was his real age then? Is like when chima played for taye youth teams when we all knew his real age just because he looks small |

TheGoodJoe: That Jos indigene is a bloody lair. Lies more than the serpent in the garden of Eden.
Macauley Chrisantus is still active in football today and in a respected team. If he was thirty in 2007, he will be 38 years now in a respected team like AEK Athens in Greece. He has played 24 games for them in 2015.
Let those guys rest with their lies. donato and giggs were still playing for their clubs deportivo la coruna and man u respectively at the age 39 so what gives? |

safarigirl: mbok tell me another lie. I'm Abuja based, Omeruo was found in Abuja, but I never heard of him till 2011.
Being based in a place doesn't mean you know people, you probably know only 3% of people in Owerri. First someone from Jos told you Chrisantus is 30, now you know Iheanacho is 26 because you're Owerri based, the other dolt on a separate thread said Iheanacho turns 23 this year, his claims are based on the fact that Iheanacho's Academy is on his street.
So which of you liars should be believed? I swear, y'all pray I never become a lawmaker, I'll make sure every single one of you spends at least a week in jail for all your useless lies. You could get sued for such slander in the western world.
That is why nobody in the European countries or the America's accuse their players, because they be laws to ensure that such ignoramuses are jailed where there is no solid proof do you know about taye youth team in owerri? Have you heard of pakat? I just pity your lame defence...why would western europeans accuse their players of being over aged when their ages are documented at birth(for those born there)? Or you think they are like us that dont document important things? Have you ever lived in western europe before?..continue wallowing in ignorance |

safarigirl: my friend don't be stoopid.
Your arguments that FIFA which is headed by mostly Europeans, would allow Africans and S/Americans cheat while denying their own people that option is even dumber than the usual '...my 22-year old cousin applied for U17 and was rejected for being too young'
So this Uncle was 17 like this? before you ignorantly call someone stupid which countries do you understand by western Europe? Secondly that the fact you stated that oh because south Americans and Africans are 'allowed to cheat' means western European people who man these bodies would also allow their people cheat shows how the dishonesty which is naija induced is clouding your system...if the western Europeans cheat are you say why is it that they find it hard winning u17 and the likes while African trams sweat to reach quarter final of world cup? By the way the Swedish guy you posted there have confirmed if he was actually born I Sweden or a child of a migrant who carried him and then naturalized as swedeish?hope you know there would be no birth record of him aside what he or his parents say? |

safarigirl: why are you calling Chrisantus? Was there MRI then?
I speak on behalf of the boys I'm familiar with. I speak for Kelechi Iheanacho, Taiwo Awoniyi, Chidera Eze, Musa Yahaya, Zaharadeen Bello, Akpan Udoh, Kekechi Nwakali, Victor Osimhen.
I will not sit by and allow misinformed people kill these boys' young careers by lumping them with guys that played when they were in Primary School. If tomorrow, you're denied a Visa because Nigerians are drug dealers, how will you feel?
Your own son could be a member of the Nigerian U17 team in years to come, how do you think your 16-year old will feel when he wins and is accused of being older because of a certain Chrisantus he barely even knows?
Forget Chrisantus and Stanley, focus on this new generation. You all forget that we missed the 2011 edition of the U17, why? Did we run out of over aged players? Did it not occur to you that maybe we missed it because we were trying to build a young team? kelechi iheanacho was 26 when he played that u17..i am owerri based |

safarigirl: who told you they are older? Based on what?
I saw a guy on Twitter who said he knows Osimhen PERSONALLY and that the BOY is actually 17.
this was after his true age was questioned. You don't know any of these boys personally yet you have the guts to make flimsy, unfounded accusations.
Who are you? Who do you know in any of our terms? on what grounds do you accuse them of age cheating?
I swear, if I ever become a law maker in Nigeria, one of my first bills will be to jail your likes that go about making accusations they can't prove against members of our football teams. You all are the disgraceful elements we need to get rid of in this country.
We don't need your flimsy support. Save it for yourself and your fellow underperforming relatives, enough of us already support those boys. People like you with no achievements and whose relatives have no achievements cannot support anyone who is doing great because envy is in you chisantus Macaulay was 30 when he played under 17..a Jos indegene who knows him personally told me then |

MathsChic: Wow! Eye opener. However the case, I don't think Nigeria's dominance results from using over-aged players. Has anyone heard of the any players in the Swiss team that won the tournament back then in Nigeria? The quality of football in the u17 category is just enough to allow Nigeria win. Higher quality football at the senior levels requires more playing/training hours with specifics on tactics and strategy. Nigeria hasn't got its head around this. If anyone should want to raise flags about age cheaters, it should be with the Brazilian team that hasn't won the cup again post-MRI. Whatever the case though, I believe there's high likelihood the Nigerians are older than 17. MRI doesn't put a cut-off at 17. It will still allow 18, 19, 20 and sometimes 21 pass. Is this enough to invalidate the Nigerian victory? I don't think so. You have to consider that even the other teams are not completely innocent of age cheating. Plus, stature-wise, the Nigerians stand on equal footing with the other teams from the rest of the world. And this is where i think the focus should be. True 15-16 year old boys from Nigeria are too tiny to give the other teams any competition. For that Swiss under 17 winning team google the names Ricardo Rodriguez and Granit Xhaka |

Igbonazy: Blood thirsty Jihadists are scheming again to slaughter Igbos in the North. In case they means business, one of the safest things to do is to move down to Middle-belt esp where there are are high concentration of Middlebelt Christains except TIV dominated areas. Some TIVs are sworn enemies of ndiigbo for unknown reason.
A PRESS STATEMENT RELEASED IN KADUNA BY NORTHERN ANTI-CORRUPTION FRONT IN RESPONSE TO THE PRO-BIAFRA PROTEST; OUR STANDS 15/11/15 It is no longer news that the pro-biafra agitators have stretched their demands beyond the limit of tolerance, as they attack innocent citizens of Northern extraction for a no justifiable reason. This has started in a similar manner in which the Biafra war started in 1967, as well as Boko haram in 2009. We will not in any way hence forth tolerate this form of rascality coming from criminals in the name of agitation for freedom. In as much as we seek for a one united Nigeria, we will not regret the secession of Igbos from Nigeria as long as that is what they want. We will even encourage and support them with strategies to succeed if their agitation is done lawfully without harming innocent people from other parts of the country. We do not wish for any form of reprisal attack by anybody from any part of the country hence, Igbos living in other parts of the country, most especially in Northern Nigeria must come out in strong terms and disassociate themselves from the activities of the so called Biafrans and the attack on Northerners, if not, their silence will be read to be a nod to the treacherous activities of Nnamdi Kanu and his co-travelers. OUR RESOLUTION Igbo communities in the North should as matter of immediate effect rebuke and disassociate themselves from their kinsmen in south-east and south-south calling for war and attacking innocent northerners residing there. We call on south-east and south-south governors, leadership of igbo traditional council and Ohaneze ndi Igbo to distant themselves from the violent and unlawful activities of this so called Biafrans, which is capable of disrupting the peace and stability of the whole country. Igbo owned media outfits are advised not to promote the activities of these criminals in the name of Biafra in any guise, and should immediately initiate programs that will help deradicalize the ignorant followers of the fraudster called Nnamdi Kalu. We call on the federal government to treat these miscreants with the same gloves Boko haram is treated in order to avoid escalation. Our demands are to be met within the next 7 days to avoid further action. this northern group should take a rest though ippb guys were senseless in attacking Hausa traders in diobu |

MadCow1: What it was built for is not important.
The Port currently receives vessels but most of them are filled with oil field equipment.
All they have to do is open up the ports, clear out the waterways, dredge it if needed and give the state some degree of control on the port.. If we drop import duty in Rivers State Port to be lower than Apapa and Tincan, omo vessels will start entering the port.
See, the Customs gusy for Port Harcourt port are like vultures, if you dare import anything into that port, they will pounce on you and suck you dry before your goods can come out of the ports because no be everyday dem dey see ship. But the moment incentives can be put in place to encourage importers to use the port, trust me, vessels will divert.[/b]
For example, it makes no sense for a product heading to the north to be imported into Lagos when Calabar port is there. yes I agree with you..maybe that ayade's calabar port and road linking to north really has to be commended and it should done to specification and timeline..also that proposed port in akwa ibom(if the site is really deep sea) has to be looked into(since alongside lekki port) is one of the ports this govt is to look into..port activities in the eastern flank has to be revived to reduce this one way traffic to Lagos Hameed alli needs to look into those ph port guys and flush the fools out |
