TonyeBarcanista: I don't know how Dakuku intend to win Rivers state when the Riverine have said a BIG NO to him. As long as we are concerned, Dakuku is an Amaechi stooge and unfit to be Governor. Wike is our own and will be elected.
Even HopeAtHand can't dispute this fact despite being an Amaechi boy HopeAtHand: Wike backed by the combined forces of PEJ, Odili and Ateke will fail. Wike has no development agenda. No policy. Nothing at all. tribal politics should be put aside for the greater good of all. Dakuku, backed by Amaechi represents a far better option. Amaechi had a clear cut developmental agenda and direction. Though he only couldnt achieve much in his second term dye to Wike abd PEJ, his overall achievements are laudable. Dakuku will follow in his footsteps as he was the commissioner of Works under Amaechi and responsible for most of the projects that made Amaechis first term spectacular. As a governor, he is expected to triple his efforts and move Rivers to enviable heights. Anyone who is for development, security and prosperity will pick none other than Dakuku. |

Afam4eva: The Imo state government should think of creating a city out of Mmahu, Egbema. They already have the trappings such as quality roads and layout. What they're lacking is what quasi towns that are not even up to Orlu and Okigwe level possess and that is some level of commercial activity. Mmahu should be made to compete with nearby Omoku in Rivers State. not sure government is responsible for commercialization of an environment |

AshiwajuFoward: Mechionu there. I'm not talking about epic movies here. Going by the way you all brag about how better developed you are than any other region in Africa, it's only normal to expect that it would reflect in the choice of locations in your non-epic films. I have seen enough Igbo Nollywood films shot at SE-based locations to speak with some measure of authority in this respect. It's not by mistake that most directors prefer to shoot at Asaba over core SE states. At least we are not the ones going about beating chest about how better we are than others. The OP is a flatt.head with an intention to cause mischief. You don't throw stones when you live in a glass house. if you think asaba is more developed than Enugu or owerri your ODE never reach part 2..and if you must know most of those marketers making those movies are based in Onitsha so they choose asaba which is nearer for location and cutting costs |

AshiwajuFoward: YEs o. The only decent locations they use in their movies are in Lagos or Asaba town which has decent houses and hotels. But whenever they shoot films in Anambra or Enugu (they never seem to even bother with Abia coz the place is nothing to write home about), their locations in those two states are always ugly looking, with red-earth/sand everywhere. Their villages as depicted in their movies are worse than anything we have in Yorubaland. ignorance is bliss...if I was to use Yoruba movies to judge the state of yorubaland I will probably say yorubaland is still in the 18th century |

7lives: I support every policy that will stop Naira from becoming toilet rolls, our leaders mad crave for foreign luxury is the reason for the state of Naira. Norway is expected to make a net withdrawal from its sovereign wealth fund this year for the first time since the SWF was set up, to help pay for tax cuts designed to stimulate the economy. Its $830 billion fund is the world's largest, holding about 1.3 percent of global stocks. People like us are called fools and illiterates whenever we tell Nigerians to vote for credible leaders imagine this nonsense, as far back as 2013 when oil price was at its peak " the report by BGL Securities Limited revealed that while Norway, the country with the single largest SWF of $737.2 billion, has daily oil production of 1.92 million barrels per day (bpd); Saudi Arabia with $657.9 billion has 11.55 million bpd production; United Arab Emirates (UAE) with $627 billion has 3.21 million bpd production and Kuwait with $386 billion produces 2.78 million bpd "
Furthermore, it showed that Algeria with $77.2 billion has 1.8 million bpd oil production while Nigeria with only $1 billion set aside for the SWF produces about 2.2 million bpd , " absolute total rubbish. If only Nigeria is blessed with visionary leaders, Nigeria would have managed to save as much as $120 billion as far back as 2013 and i want every sane mind reading this to imagine how much Nigerian would have as SWF with 10% interest rates as at today. But what do we have?, " CHOP AND QUENCH SQUANDER MANIACS OR SHOULD I SAY PRODIGAL LEADERS ". it shall never be well with all of them. the quest for foreign luxury is not a problem of the elite alone but a problem of the average Nigerian that lusts for foreign goods |

I travelled to orlu today and I saw how orlu that I used to know have greatly transformed into a modern neat city. There are many good roads with double lane and big structures built by Rochas with street lights coupled with a clean and serene environment. This can only be achieved by a visionary leader. The road leading from owerri to orlu makes a pleasurable ride With what I saw today,it will be very stupid of anybody to say Rochas has failed.I want to commend the governor for been a transformation leader a governor who came and turned things around.I am proud of you Owelle. owerri orlu rd dualization is not yet complete though that bridge around(I have forgotten the name now) is nearly completed |
