Jonathan is playing with fire. In his desperation to cling to power he is ready to turn Nigeria into another Rwanda. Funny thing is that delaying the election would only bring more people to the side of the General, Buhari. This goes a long way to show what I've suspected all along.... Jonathan has bad advisers. He is a Macbeth in the making... |

kilakhan: VERY WRONG MY BROTHER. WAEC was established in 1952. WAEC conducted the WASC exams. Go to WAEC wikipedia page for more info! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/West_African_Examinations_Council
The school did not use the State's letterhead as you stated. The state issued a statement of results for an examination written many decades before the state was created!!
Before 1998 when you wrote the WAEC exam it was called WASC. After 1998 it became SSCE or more properly WASSCE! Someone printed this out to me. You re very correct. Thanks a lot. |

phantom23: Now you are talking. I'm not PDP but rather than waste time arguing, let Cambridge put the matter to rest... I'm sure someone is working on it already...fingers crossed I've done a bit of research. It seems the academic records were also transferred to WAEC. Therefore, WAEC can also release the results, but I my with the candidate's consent in writing or through a court order. Ashieduplus. |
Politics › Re: Katsina College Releases Buhari’s WASC Results by ashieduplus(m): 10:27am On Jan 22, 2015 |
kilakhan: Correct me if I am wrong but I thought it was WAEC that issues WAEC/WASC results. WAEC has been conducting entrance exams since the 50's. Buhari supposedly wrote this exam in 1961. If in all honesty he did write it what does it take to go to WAEC office in Yaba and get the original WAEC results? Lets be honest to ourselves. This is the first time in my life I have seen a State Ministry of Education issue a WAEC certificate! The State Ministry has nothing to do with the conduct of WAEC exams or giving out certificates. That piece of paper is worth nothing! 1.WASC is not WAEC. WASC was organised by Cambridge University. 2. Buhari wrote WASC. 3. The school is under the state Govt (PDP-Controlled). Therefore the school is authorised to use the state's letterhead. 4. This is a statement of result, not a certificate but the spreadsheet authenticates it. 5. If PDP apologists are not satisfied they can apply to Cambridge for clarification. Ashieduplus. |

chiemecel: there is no need of argument by 1961 nothing like katsina state,we only operate on regions, how come we have katsina state ministry of education issuing out fabricated certificate be wise, honorable man Dear Chimecel, Katsina Province was part of the old Northern region and then Kaduna State, before it became a state in its own right. Thereafter, academic records of public schools were transfered to the government of the new state. The result statement was printed on today's letterhead and with today's date. That's the practice. You can't expect then to retain letterheads from 53 years ago. To authenticate this printout the principal included the spreadsheet from Cambridge University. Every school, including my alma mater, has spreadsheets for all external examinations (WASSCE, NECO, WASC) I hope you are satisfied. Regards, Ashieduplus. |
Politics › Re: Buhari Was Our Classmate In 1961– Umar Abdullahi, Coomassie by ashieduplus(m): 9:16am On Jan 22, 2015 |
Alexkene: Idiot, WAEC is not an exam. It is the body (organisation) that issues WASC results.
Waec means West African Examinations Council
Wasc means West African School certificate.
In Nigeria, WAEC is the "lay term" which we use to describe both.
Let me school you, you this slow poke. You are in the wrong, my friend. 1. What we have now is WASSCE (West African School Leaving Certificate) not WASC. My history teacher taught me the difference in SS2 or SS3. I can't remember which. 2. WASC was organised by Cambridge University not WAEC because WAEC didn't exist in 1961. I hope I've cleared the air. Regards, Ashieduplus. |

Whoever has decieved you should be scourged, drawn and quartered! FYI, it's Buhari's, supporters that are more motivated to collect their PVCs, at least as far as lagos is concerned. Funny enough, judging from reports from my home state (delta), the general would get a sizable number number of votes, but not the majority , especially in the urban centres. |

peeJ1: I noticed something and i feel i should share it with you.
I've been meeting people and when we get to talk about the 2015 General Election, i noticed it's always a two sided affair as expected- the GEJ and the GMB supporters.
I also noticed that for every 10 people i meet, 6 are backing GEJ for 2015, while 4 are backing GMB.
Something else drew my attention, i was able to find out that out of those 6 supporting GEJ; 2 don't have a voters card, 2 have but are not willing to vote, the remaining 2 have voters card and will vote.
Now, in the case of GMB, the case is quite different, even tho the odds doesn't really favour him having 4 supporters out of every 10, he may well be on the winning end if GEJ supporters don't get serious.
Now listen carefully, tho GMB has only 4 supporters as compared to GEJ 6 out of every 10. All of GMB's 4 are all willing to vote.
My conclusion is that at the end of the election, the winner will not be the man that has more supporters, the winner will be the man with more vote.
Doesn't matter how many of you want GEJ or GMB, if you do not vote, you may well be building castles in the air. Visit any INEC office today and get your Permanent Voters Card (PVC). It is your vote that really counts, not just the supports and shoutings in the sun during campaigns. Talk is cheap, if you really want him you will vote him.
Support your candidate by VOTING! Erm, Op where dp you live. And where did you take this survey? Thank you. |

Rareantagonist: Brethren, This is a desperate and urgent call from the throne of Grace that the brethren in Christ are about to make the greatest error of their lives by selling off their kingly heritage for a mess of pottage called "change". Change into what? Change into what happened to Egypt , Sudan, Lybia, Algeria and Turkey which were once flourishing Christian countries but because the brethren there also sold their souls on the premise of "it does not matter" they became the last set of Christians in those countries! Remember Turkey! It was the beautiful Christian country called Constantinople! Today it is history! The foundation of the planned islamisation of Nigeria was taken in 1989 in Abuja by OIC. Since then they have not looked back! Our Government gave them a contribution of 21 billion dollars then! Wonder then where the funding of boko Haram is coming from? They have painfully now infiltrated one of the biggest denominations in Nigeria and offered one of their best Pastors -a Professor,a Vice presidential Slot! Now a larger community of that denomination now promotes this "change"! They did it in Constantinople ! Remember brethren, that the biggest denomination of Christians in the North - the EYN has been wiped off! All their churches burnt. You may say that it is the North it can't get here! They said the same thing in Sudan, Libya, Algeria and Constantinople! How come the brethren have become so dulled in the Spirit that they no longer are sensitive? We may be the last Christians in Nigeria if this grave error the brethren is about to commit is not averted! Our Lord Jesus is greatly miffed by our irresponsibilit y as His Followers! How come we no longer hear Him! The Great shepherd of the Sheep! How come that Christians have forgotten that this country was made ungovernable by these same people and Christians are holding the wrong person responsible? How come? The signs of the eventual Islamization of Nigeria are awash in the 1999 constitution where Islam, Sharia are mentioned more than 100 times.! Not a single mention of Christ or Christianity! You say it does not matter. Now, mark it you cannot amend the constitution without a bitter progrom! Brethren, the night is here! We must contend for the faith and our heritage which was handed once and for all to us by our maker! Don't relent, sound this trumpet....We will not be the last Christians in Nigeria! Amen. That was how you guys deceived us in 2011. Nor anymore. Sai Buhari! |
