PLEASE peeps in the house, i want to ask if uk embassy normally return letter of invite for business or the hold it cos in my case my business letter of invite was not returned

Did u get the visa? If Yes, they will surely return ur IV but if no, they won't return it I guess. There is no issue with returning IV, it's not like it's useful after usage.

I understand they are really looking for flimsy excuses not to give us visas.
But I know they are wrong and I intend to fight this to the last. Accusing her and banning is so wrong. She has excellent travel history. Never ever stayed beyond a month while visiting the UK.

If I didnt move back here. I'm almost certain she wont even try to apply for a UK visa.
They have no reason.

Infact, my lawyer said we could them because the Business Name is registered to her.
Just no reason for them to refuse her this time.

I'm stating to think everything is about money for them. This is wrong. She was wrongly accused

Phardey... you have done the needful, Let your mum reapply as you have said she's going for her appointment today. Be informed that the BDHC would do all verifications... They might even send delegates to the CAC headquaters for clarification, so If your documents are genuine, Congratulation and if Not, it's gonna be very bad. I wish ur mum good luck!!!.

Major my parents but I own a portion.

So I'm assuming nothing can be done to get the visa due to what I currently earn even if I have a letter of sponsorship from my parents and a letter of invitation from the family I'm going to visit.

Can stocks/bonds work?

Work hard to earn more money and how old are you?
Politics / Re: FG Introduces Automated Payment Of Salaries, Allowances by askari01: 7:31am On May 25, 2016
I commend PMB for trying to do the needful, Infact these things should have been in place 20yrs ago. Automated Salary Payment method will make thing work perfectly, Every Salary earners would not need to ask when Salaries would be paid. Even If there is Holiday, everyone would receive payment alert at the exact date... gbagan!!! Not that you would have to wait for oga Director to sign Cheques. If we receive our salaries promptly, all leakages will be blocked, Corruption will reduce and ghost workers would be a thing of the PAST, IstandwithBuhari.

Sorry for the ECO's libellous act on your mum's visa application. A few days ago when I was advising a nairalander in this forum not to panic because of the mistake made on a visa application form, and I digressed a bit, that I was once emailed by ECO during one of my visa applications in the past, asking why our TCC carried a different/new logo, instead of the former one with the Nigerian coat of arms, some members here who read the post must have thought it was a cooked-up story. Now, your mum's Cert of Reg issue will clear such doubts. These people are needlessly meticulous. They pay attention to every detailed info you bring to their fore. Maybe the format of the cert of Inc has also been changed by CAC and the ECO didn't bother to verify. He/she might have stated it in the refusal letter that she actually verified the cert of Inc with CAC ,just to make her think he/she carried out an in-depth assessment on your mum's application...I guessed the ECO took a decision in a hurry after noticing a change in the cert of Inc's format or logo. Our govt agencies too no dey try. CAC had changed their logos and certificate design/format several times without notifying the general public(mine issued in 2010 was also different from the previous ones I'd seen). They ought to be notifying embassies of every little change on the certificates they issue to the public, to avoid undue punishment in the name of applying for a visa (after paying so much fee, which is non-refundable). Viewing it from another perspective, the ECO could have verified as claimed but the lawyer gave the job to a third party in the process, who now did 'genje' and gave it to your mum. If your mum has a compelling evidence, she could still get her visa after reapplying. Those aforementioned documents would help and even more, as they're inexhaustible(just to fight this case) . Please before she reapplies, tell her to do an affidavit in a court like high court, listing all the docs and stating that all of them are true and genuine. you can even do this yourself, without engaging any lawyer. Go to Ikeja on her behalf with those documents. Meet the people who are adept in processing affidavits. the moment you cross under the bridge towards Ikeja general hospital, you'd have seen them on both sides whispering to you and asking if you want to do affidavit. Pls tell the person that you don't want an ordinary red seal affidavit(which anybody can get by the road side). Tell the person that, what you what is the stamped-logo which is usually in pink ink(and not a red sticker). They will charge you for this though, because they charge per stamp, but negotiable. The stamp will almost litter the affidavit as it will be stamped many times but it's ok(insist you want it that way). With this and other accompanying documents, the 10-year ban could be reversed and she could be issued her visa, if truly those documents are hers and genuine. Also tell her to present the case to baba God.

The bold statement is very important. The lawyer may not even know if the business registration is genuine. Go and do more verifications all by urself.
1. Check if the names with the CAC correlate with her travel docs

2. Write a very strong letter, with a genuine affidavit and with God it will end in praise.

Hello justwise and members of the house, i will like to ask a question. IF an upcoming footballer 17years of age wants to enrol in a soccer academy in the uk, what procedure does he need to follow? will his stay in the uk be limited based on his visa? will a budget of 3million naira be enough for the trip and enrolment fee? and are there any plan for soccer scholarship in the uk? and how long does he need to stay in the uk before he get his work permit?

If u don't want to become a saint true true, just don't try enter this scam, One of my family friend just left kirikiri after paying 700K to one yeye agent, they call it "come and travel" or football trial... like worry365 said, The won't just want to listen cos I told the boy to stop communicating with the agent. He didn't see his passport but was told you get his travel luggages ready and meet them at the MMA, when they got there, they gave them pali with genje visas from there to kirikiri. Thanks for your response. I plan to reapply in about 3 to 4 months after i may have built up my personal account further. Will it be a red flag if i say i have family or a friend in the UK with the new application after I had filled in no for both of them in my previous application. Thanks

My friend, it's not about building up an account, you may still get the visa if you have a Salary Account that shows that your employer pays your salary, it's possible the company have another account with 300 billion balance, so the -50M is not an issue, if you want to clear the air, provide your salary account, Infact if the account that you have 500k is ur salary account then just wait to receive 2 - 3 months salary to boost the account, then u can sponsor urself... with strong prayer your application will fly.

Hello guys, I was denied a visitor’s visa to the UK this week. I stated that I was being sponsored by my company for a 10-day holiday. The bank statement provided by the company had a negative balance of about 50 million naira but I was told it wasn’t going to be a problem and that it appeared that way because of a bank guarantee or something of sorts. I had about 500,000 naira in my personal account. I have included an abridged version of the refusal letter. Please I need advice and possible suggestions on the next best steps to take. Thanks

Your application for a visit visa to the United Kingdom has been refused
How your application was considered?
In deciding whether you meet the requirements of Appendix V: Immigration Rules for visitors (https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/immigration-rules), I have considered:
• Your application, and any additional relevant information you have provided with it
• Your immigration history
The decision
I have refused your application for a visit visa because I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of paragraph(s) 4.2, of Appendix V: Immigration Rules for Visitors because:
You state you will visit the UK for 10 days for tourism. You state you will travel alone and you have no friends or family in the UK.
You state your employer will pay for your visit, however the bank statement provided in the name of *** has a closing balance of -50 million NGN overdrawn and is considerably overdrawn for the entire five month’s bank statement provided.
Given this, I am not satisfied that your circumstances are as claimed. I am therefore not satisfied that you are a genuine visitor and will leave the UK at the end of your visit. Your application for a visit visa has been refused under paragraph V4.2(a) and (c).
As outlined above I am not satisfied that you have sufficient funds available to cover your costs whilst in the UK without working or accessing public funds. Your application has therefore been refused under paragraph V4.2(e).
Future Applications
Any future UK visa applications you make will be considered on their individual merits, however you are likely to be refused unless:
• Your personal circumstances change significantly between now and your next application
• You provide compelling new evidence with your next application
In relation to this decision, there is no right of appeal or right to administrative review.

-50 Million.... Can a dead chicken eat corn??... what's ur connection with the company? Are the GM,Director,or is ur name included in the AOM Even at that, Your company has been in debt for over 6 months. How do they pay thier workers salary? Did u submit your Salary Account? Tired of typing..

@askari01 I paid my tax for d duration of 3 years at a strenght,# 7,500 for each year. I contacted a tax officer who did that for me.

I knew you didn't pay the right amount as Tax, it would have help ur application, with all those funds that goes into ur account, you should pay more than #7500, With that amount paid as Tax, it signifies that you earn below 120k monthly and you claimed you earn 200K. My advise for you is to re-couple ur application without rushing for another 6-7 months for better result. Ask your boss to pay your salary directly from the company's account into your Salary account and make sure you don't use the same account for other transactions, strictly Salary Account, After 6 months, come back here for further steps.

Thanx everyone, so are u saying is a concern that company pays cash into my account? I will be staying with my sister, and our company is registered here in Nigeria. What are my chances? Thanx everyone

It's a redflag when ur salary is bein paid in CASH!!!, Although You have a better chance to getting the visa but wouldnt want you to jeopardise the opportunity, if your company is registered I assume it's must also have a company's account, Transfer your salary into your personal account every month end for like another 5-6months until the previous Cash salary payment doesn't reflect on your account again and that will be in like 6 months time. Don't assume BHC won't know, when you make cash payment it's not verifiable and doesn't prove that you are truly workin in the company. Remember before a bank can open a company's account for you, they must have done al verification so when the ECO sees that ur Salary was transferred from th company's account it's a confirmation that the company's does exist and that you are truly employed by company. If u receive checks, pay into ur account to clear.

Is Cash deposit a red flag?

It's a RedFLag for those that receive their monthly Salary Via Cash Deposit, You either receive your Salary via Cheques or Bank transfer, UK embassy would believe you ain't workin with the claimed company since your mothly pay ain't coming as well cheque deposit or TNF. The Source is not Verifiable if cash is being paid into ur account

Does anyone know the current timeline for UK Family Visitor Visa? I submitted an application at Churchgate VI on the 13th of this month. Frontpagelawyer and tunderule2016... relax pls. Experience is the best Teacher, I want to state categorically that all applications submitted at VI center are treated in Sheffield UK.... All applications submitted at Ikeja center are treated in LAGOS.

My Aunt submitted her application last year at ikeja, and her visa was issued here in Nigeria which shows on her visa.

My friend submitted on a Friday at VI centre, church gate tower in lagos and my friends mum got a call from sheffield UK on Monday and few days later when we got the parcel on the 6th of April, 2016, the visa shows that place of issued- SHEFFO.

@ tunde... U are in UK and You believe in reading thru UKBA website, Frontpagelawyer had applied so many times and afterwards he got the visa, I am not an agent but I have helped so many people around me to couple documents for UK visa. UK can spend more than your application fee to verify whatever document submitted. The embassy sent a delegate from lagos to verify a microfinance statement account last year, Finally and I quote, sheffield and Ikeja belongs to the same UK Embassy. Shikenna
