....and Germany does not have a minimum wage. Comparison expert! |
It just has to be imported, doesn`t it? |
What you see in the Nigeria of today is a bunch of people who have rarely lived or competed with the white man before. It means that they see it as a progress and a big achievement whenever they sit next to a white man, regardless of the uselessness of such a meeting. Whether it`s the President that would consider it appropriate to go around the world bad-mouthing the citizens of his own country, or the governors that would see it as a honour that Tony Blair is present during their strategy meeting, it all flows from the type of inferiority complex that lack of exposure imposes. Although, it should be a source of humility when people that are leading are experiencing later what they should have experienced earlier in life. The Awos and Ziks of this world never had this burden to contend with. |
deb:Yea, that mind game was the reason why Keshi won AFCON! |
....and beating Cameroon and South Africa is a huge achievement? Hopeless losers! |
davereal:How many times have Russia and China instigated the prosecution of an African through the ICC? So the problem has always come from a country that refused to sign up to ICC, often supported by Britain and France. Fact is, the idea of ICC was good on paper, but implementation has shown what the West wanted from it. Under normal circumstances, a Continent of intelligent people would not have been part of the United Nations. Africa is the only Continent in the world that has and still being used to develop all other Continents. It has never caused any world war. It has never invaded and exploited any other Continents. What pre-requisites are we applying that would disqualify Africa from having a permanent seat at the SC. A race does not matter unless you are in the SC, and the UN means nothing without the SC. In other words, as long as the SC remains as it is, with each and every member having a VP, then nothing good can come out of it for Africa. The case against the ICC is clear and straight forward. It has become a tool of oppression in the hands of the Western hegemon. Africa should leave and I`m happy that the African Union gets it. The African Union has already given a cover for all African countries, only for the slaves of Nigeria to refuse. Northern Nigeria has politicians that still see the UK as their best ally while the slaves in the South would readily betray their country in order to serve America. Why do you think the former President of Gambia didn`t choose Nigeria as his refuge? Well, he still remembers what happened to Charles Taylor, betrayed on the steps of the White House by Obasanjo. Nigerians are born to follow, nice to see that a couple of African countries have worked that out. |
davereal:Yea, that is why Tony Blair and George W. Bush had been prosecuted in London and Wshington for waging an illegal war. |
dermmy:Top man! |
Doesn`t he sound like the slave that he would always be? The people that are being oppressed in Cameron today were part of Nigeria before your international community took them out of Nigeria just before independence. Then Abacha went to the world court in the 90s leading to Nigerians in Bakassi being told that they are no more Nigerians, so you can see that you have done very well with your international community when it comes to adjudicating between you and other African countries; why won`t you continue to embrace it. ICC would continue to do to Nigeria what the world court has been doing before it. So, you have every reason to be a member. The rest of Africa need to know that, the political elites of Nigeria are too dull to lead them on any geo-political issues. South Africa has taken the lead on ICC, and that is the country to follow. Even the President of Rwanda is far more intelligent than an average Nigerian politician when it comes to global politics. Africa should learn to do the needful because following Nigeria blindly would be counter-productive |
Bumbae1:Which Europe, the one you are leaving? |
hucienda:44% of UK`s export go to the EU, and just 17% to America. Well, India has told United Kingdom that it is no more fashionable to be talking of trade deals without including freedom of movement. Let`s hope that the slaves governing Nigeria would learn a thing or two from that. |
CorrectPikiN:Ok, don`t let us waste time on this. First thing you need to do before leaving Nigeria is to ask yourself whether you want to go to another country where your life would be worse than it was in Nigeria, ok? I`m just tired of young ones that are so desperate to leave Nigeria that they would just pick a country from nowhere and start to ask questions. I`m not in the mood for any further chat than to tell you that Montenegro is not a country any Nigerian should be going. I have just watched online, in all its gory details, the total dehumanization of a Nigerian girl in the hands of the Libyan government. Why should a Nigerian girl find herself in Libya, to do what? How does a woman recover from what I have just watched done to her by the animals of Libya. No need to be desperate because it can always get worse. Bye! |
CorrectPikiN:Before educating you, kindly tell me why Montenegro. |
EngrBello:Between 2001 and 2015 more Americans were killed by home-grown extremists than by the so-called Islamist terrorists! I mean, how on earth can you say you want to ban those that could harm America and Saudi-Arabia, Pakistan and Afghanistan would not be affected? Pure nonsense! |
MrMontella:Come on, you think he would want his own country to break up? Of course not. He hates the EU because EU told him to respect environmental regulations in his business dealings in Ireland. He can`t just bring himself to understand that the EU is not about crass individualism he is used to in his America. |
Funny enough, no-one from these countries that are being punished have killed Americans in terror attacks inside America, in the last 40 years |
President Trump loves BREXIT in the UK, I`m sure he is going to love it in America now! |
God bless the people and government of Mexico! Compare this reaction to what happened when those born to be slaves were described as "fantastically corrupt" by the very person they were going to visit. |
Rev. Jesse Jackson revealed recently that 15 Republican leaders had met in a Washington DC restaurant, on the night Obama was sworn into office, where they resolved to undermine his administration by opposing everything he supported; he named the Senate majority leader, Mitch McConnell, as the mastermind. He was also quick to remind people of the day a South Carolina Republican congressman, Joe Wilson, called Obama a liar during a state of the union address. Obama recorded some diplomatic success in Cuba and Iran. He also tried to help illegals through the action for childhood arrivals law which granted 800,000 children brought to the US by parents at a young age two years` delay in deportation, and the right to work. The Dream Act which set out process for immigrant to gain permanent residency was rejected by the Congress. Well, Latinos would never forget that he deported over 2 million of them. To govern America for 8 years, without any personal scandal hitting the President, is worthy of commendation. The image of the black man the West has constructed is that of a reckless and irresponsible womanizer that would always be lacking in integrity. Obama`s tenure put a robust question mark to that So far, so good! What Obama`s supporters have not yet pointed out is what he did to help the black race and humanity. By any standards of measurement, the positives I mentioned above are too tiny to be celebrated. What is the legacy? Of course, it is sad to read the views of some Nigerians here who seem to dislike Obama because of what they consider to be his pro-Muslim policies. Really? Pro-Islam? True, America has been using drones before Obama was elected, but Obama was the first American President to use the drones outside war zones in Yemen, Pakistan and Somalia. According to the London-based Bureau of Investigative Journalism together with the New American Foundation, In his first year in office, Obama carried out more drone strikes in Pakistan than George W. Bush did during his entire presidency The Council on Foreign Relations also revealed that, in 2016 alone the Obama administration dropped at least 26,171 bombs- 72 bombs every day. Most of these air strikes were in Syria, Iraq, Libya, Yemen, Somalia and Pakistan It also revealed that, Obama authorised over 10 times more drone strikes than Bush He managed to deceive people by first reducing the number of the US soldiers fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan. From time to time, these bombs were falling on the wedding convoy in Yemen, blowing poor grandma picking okra in Pakistan to pieces and ending the lives of those being treated by Doctors Without Borders in Kunduz. "Yes We Can" is a wonderful slogan, and holding the 2009 Noble peace prize is good, but every President is judged by his policies not some esoteric nonsense In July 2016, a 28-yr-old nurse, Iesha Evans, introduced herself to the world by standing up to the Louisiana police during a Black Lives Matter protest. She was the first person to describe Obama`s election as a "set-up". Make up your own mind, she helped me to make up mine! |
BarrEgo:Heel goed, mevrouw; met u? I would repeat the same question: what is the percentage of Nigerians that can`t speak the Dutch language do office work in the Netherlands? I have made it 5% in my post, what would you make it? Remind me where I told anyone that things are more expensive in the Netherlands than any English town. I struggle to find anything that is cheaper in England than the Netherlands, even in a relatively small place like Hull. Or are you saying that Amsterdam, Den Haag, Rotterdam and Utrecht are not the most expensive cities in the Netherlands? I`m sure that was the point being made in my original post. |
So how should we see Donald Trump? I first heard of Geert Wilders long time ago in the Netherlands. He was anti-immigrant, anti-Islam and anti anything foreign! He was prosecuted by the Dutch recently for saying that the Netherlands should allow fewer Moroccans into the Netherlands. But the same Netherlands that considered it unacceptable for any politicians to express anti-immigrant views, has now banned the burqa in public places and Geert Wilders is extremely popular today After the election of Donald Trump, the German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, spoke wonderfully for the liberal world order when she said, " Germany and America are connected by values of democracy, freedom, and respect for the law and dignity of man, independent of origin, skin, colour, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or political views. I offer the next President of the United States close co-operation on the basis of these values" The same Angela Merkel that said the above, has now decided to support those calling for a ban on burqa and niqab. Liberal countries are changing very fast, partly because of the illiberal wind blowing from America. Whatever America does tends to spread like wide fire across the world. Donald Trump did what people like Le Pen in France, Wilders in the Netherlands have been prosecuted for, but he won the biggest political prize in the world with it. The normalisation of rape and racism, the glamorisation of hate and vulgarity remain his most important legacy. Between now and September, the Dutch, French and German would be going to the polls, should the Trumps of this world win there, then the human family would be in trouble. Donald Trump has violated our collective humanity, unfortunately, some of us don`t know it yet. |
petbam: My brother, please make that " white American first" |
Cutie09:Crime against women in African countries? Mind giving me a couple of examples? Any example of a sub-saharan country that does not allow women to drive a car? |
SirElaw:You will get a private Jet from me soon, I`m sure you believe that! Anyway, Donald Trump was bankrupt about six times, so expect economic prosperity soon. Donald Trump is associated with 500 companies and 65 personal properties in 22 countries , so bye-bye globalisation as it is now America first. Happy days! |
A fool at 74, is a fool for-ever! |
Rapahel1116:These two countries fall in the same category on many fronts, but I know many people that have crossed from the Scandinavian countries to either Germany or the Netherlands, not the other way round. Once English is not the official language of a country, settling down is not a tea-party. It is for this reason I always advise people to try English-speaking countries first. Failing that, the Netherlands is the next best thing, and Amsterdam is my favourite city there. You might have to go to another city/town before you can find a job though. But you walking down the streets of Amsterdam with your wife and kids, and some cruel racists raining insults on you is rare. |
Lucasbalo:You are lucky I don`t have time this morning. A belated season`s greetings to you |
angelo82:Sorry for answering you late. I guess you mean apart from the UK and Ireland, right? Amsterdam is my favourite, job permitting. |
ogbonti:Don`t blame them; once the national mouth is wide open, every junk would find its way into it! |
capphil:Which university in the Philippines are these faces from? Are you also telling Nigerians that Philippines has a lot of security issues right now, or you are in a position to guarantee the security of Nigerians that end up there? |
MAYOWAAK:Let`s congratulate him for burning the bridges of incompetence and mediocrity. Nigeria should concentrate on hiring foreigners because those are the people we respect. If you are under the illusion that ex-internationals with principle would come back to Nigeria to mess around with the village boys that call themselves NFF officials, it won`t happen. You guys are used to official shambolism, so much so that you see nothing wrong in NFF not paying salaries for months. Yea, you lot would stay gentle and indifferent in a situation like that, wouldn`t you? |
Envy and administrative incompetence would not be his problem in the West, but racism would. Good luck to him! |
