The Algerian coach is of Algerian origin, the ritualists in charge of football in Nigeria would have killed him or frustrated him out of the job. May the spirit of Stephen Keshi continue to haunt Nigeria. We wont win anything in Nigeria as long as the people that starved Stephen Keshi to death remain in office. Amen. |
People say Donald Duke is the future, but isn`t he one of those Obasanjo wannabes? |
Performance at local and state levels is not a good barometer for predicting who would do well at the federal level-different ball game! The vice President should resign, but would his godfather be happy with that? |
cdialauka:You don`t think the North could have said the same about Northerners that supported Obasanjo`s re-election bid in 2003? Politics is not straight-forward. |
Rescue mission or suicide mission? |
When the Giant of Africa is led by a political kindergarten, this is what happens! |
The old Babangida would have told Atiku whatever would make Atiku happy. I guess Babangida has got to a stage where he expects no favours from anyone-always easy to tell the bitter truth at that point. The big guns in PDP only want Atiku`s money, they know he can`t defeat Buhari, but they don`t care, as long as he is ready to spend his money.SAD! |
Tough task when there is no one central government in charge of the whole country. As to the guys trying to reach me, I have never received any message through Nairaland before, so you may want to use another channels on my profile. If you ask your questions here, may take some time, but I would do my best to answer them once I`m on Nairaland. Bye! |
Presided over your country for about five years, yet achieved what those that have been ruling since 1970s could not achieve. It`s not always how long, but how well! |
Goodluck Jonathan`s major achievements include being the first Nigerian President to relinquish power after defeat. But the most important one is that people tend to believe that you cannot record economic progress unless you deprive your citizens of basic freedoms, yet our economy became the biggest in Africa, without him locking Nigerians up or killing anyone. Well, this second achievement is almost a global first. No honest Nigerians can defend his anti-corruption credentials, though! |
UKmigrant:Actually, the pieces of advice there would always be useful to all intelligent immigrants that are new in the UK, that is why it`s there. As to finding something productive to do, well, addiction to Owanbe and living beyond my means have long taken care of that! |
UKmigrant:You just get on with your new life and stop worrying about minor stuff. You are the learner! |
UKmigrant:Don`t forget that you invited free comments, so you will get the ones you don`t like. You haven`t even spent a single month in this country and you are getting angry? Save that energy till later! |
Going to Owambe party a couple of days after your arrival in the UK, accepting an offer of credit card from HSBC, as well as the thought of buying a car (which I assume is the reason why you are trying to get a new driving licence) are classic examples of how not to start a new life in the West. But does that mean there are universal rules to be followed by all and sundry? Of course, not! Paying your bills regularly through your bank account, and having your name on the electoral register would help to boost your credit rating. This is the best time to concentrate on saving as much as possible! |
edeXede:Are you a teenager that happens to be having a bad day? |
undisputed25:There is nothing wrong in using Iceland as a stepping stone to another countries. So get to Iceland first then you will look at your options from there. As long as you get there legally, I don`t think moving on from there, would be a problem. |
Best response to the constant killings of our people in South Africa! |
undisputed25:Are you sure that country would be any good for you? Well I have never lived there before but it is a very small country of less than 500k people living in it. It used to be ok economically, but that changed a while ago. Nigerians go to school everywhere, so you may be able to study there, but I`m not sure of employment, especially in a country that doesn`t use English as its official language. |
Mcy56:Apologies for late response, I have not been here for some time now. It has been a while since I last made enquiries about immigration, so can`t be of much help on that. As per relocating, Brexit is a game changer, but how is it going to affect those outside the EU? Difficult to answer that, but it may not be too bad for countries like Nigeria. Once Europeans have no free access, that may force UK`s hands-into relaxing strict immigration rules. But at present, things are too hazy in London. Problem is, it may not get better any time soon, which is my own way of saying the choice is yours. When it comes to coming abroad, there would always be one issue or the other to worry about. Right now, Germany seems to be a relatively better choice for immigrants. Good luck |
Masterclass32:Stupid soldier, Kanu`s case is more important than Kanu. The military should educate itself because it`s far more criminal than Kanu! |
Nimi22:Wait till they kill one Indonesian President, then you will know experience is the best teacher. Nigeria`s Muritala Muhammed was like that, and he paid with his life. |
Does a Party determine the character of a nation, or it`s a nation that determines the character of a Party? |
You can`t be serving under Buhari and serve Atiku at the same time. The decent thing for her is to resign before campaigning for her paymaster. Politics doesn`t work like that. What was she expecting after doing that? Of course, Buhari people would go after her. |
Hopefully, they soon see this for what it is:initiation into prostitution and exploitation! |
The quantity of chemicals needed to turn these ladies into this mess would be massive. No decent men would like to spend a day with ladies like them, that is why they often end up with no husbands or wife-beaters. Unfortunately, Bleaching For Africa is not yet an Olympic sport. What a bunch of social disgrace! |
OP, are you here on behalf of the British, just like one or two moderators? |
]Please someone should show me any where in the Ghanaian constitution where it is stipulated that you can't post unclad pictures... I'm sure the police officers will be having an erection by now... But come to think of it, where's her mum that sided with her when she broke the Internet with her nudes? Ghanaians and irrelevancies be like their jullof rice.. I am in no way supporting indecency, but this is just an oppressing behavior by the Ghanaian police... Or Abi thief don finish for Ghana
Her detention would answer your question |
Saraki versus Sowore? Saraki would be the Judas Iscariot while Sowore is the Jesus Christ.Only Nigerians can find basis for comparison! |
Those that thought it wise to stop teaching history ought to be arrested and send to jail. Brain-dead politicians! |
Most intelligent people don`t do religion. |
All other countries are better than Nigeria and worth visiting partly because they don`t have NAIRALAND |
claremont:Claremont, the FFL has been around since 1820/30something, and you only know one Nigeria that joined. That should tell you it`s not a normal entity. I`ve told you that no-one joins FFL using his original name, because it is for people that are already approaching the end of their lives after their criminal backgrounds. Then you talk of enjoying/seeing the world. When you join FFL, you are asked to sign an undertaking that you have no allegiance to any other nation/thing in life but France. These people are never sent to a place unless it`s terribly dangerous and likely to lead to death- Iraq and Afghanistan come to mind. Since France owns you, the corpse is never returned to your family. Well, I don`t think that is what our families expect whenever we leave Nigeria. You now glamorizing all of the above worries me A guy that leaves Nigeria with a Schengen visa has a 50-50 chance of making it in Europe. I guess you are the risk-loving type, but FFL is not a risk to be taken when you have a family at home. I know many people ( both male and female) that marry whites, but settle down after getting all their papers because they truly love them, so not all are sham marriages. |
