There is no root cause. Ppl become atheists for different reasons however we all accept that God does not exist. There is nowhere to go from there.

I am all in favour of frosbels assault on these prosperity pastors and tithe robbers. They are a plague making ppls lives a misery without any end product. Just false hopes and dashed dreams.

The truth will soon come out. There will be a religious revolution soon and these pastors will be at the mercy of the baying crowd.

They can scream "TOUCH NOT MY ANOINTED" all they want but no one will listen and God will not save them either.

I was born xtian. Baptised as Catholic, then as an Anglican and then as a Mormon.

2. Experiences in the church/mosque

Catholic church:
slightly odd doctrine (confessing, papal authority, excommunication etc).
Communal and less emphasis on finances etc. Helpful and supportive. Lots of charity work. Poor evangelists and not patient with questions.

Mormon church:
Really odd doctrine (Christ in america, book of mormon etc)
Slightly cult like
Dubious history
Very friendly, nice, intelligent and patient, brilliant at evangelizing and question answering.

Anglican faith:
Similar to Catholic church, patient with questions, lots of charity works.

Pentecostal churches:
Deeper life, mountain of fire, redeemed, winners chapel, rhema and about a cpl others.

All different in focus but similar in messages. Focus too much on prosperity. Too much internal politics and hierarchal issues (this is in all churches but witnessed easier in pentecostals).


3. Duration as believer

26 years

4. When and why you began to lose faith.
After 20 years. It just happened. Too much knowledge and lack ability to close my eyes and forcefully believe in something I felt didnt exist. It took 6 yrs to fully realise I was atheist. I just accepted my fate.

What else do we need to understand from this passages?

Genesis 2:20 So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds of the air and all the beasts of the field. But for Adam no suitable helper was found.
If Adam could do it by Himself, God wouldn't borther Giving Him a healper that can perfectly do it for Him.. ! This is valid for every other thing in a mans Life.

Religion is one thing that has destoryed our knowledge of history. Christianity and Islam tells us that we descended from Jewish/Hebrew people called Adam and Eve. However, our history is far older than that of the Jews or Hebrew language.
