The agitation for Biafra was there since the days of MASSOB in 1999. Then Kanu was a member of MASSOB until he parted ways with them and started IPOB. Kanu and Radio Biafra have been on since 2013 when GEJ was there. But GEJ chose to ignore them. Buhari chose to be confront them and the rest is history. The agitation was always there.

The ignorance of some of IPOB sympathizers like this one is unbelievable.

- An individual has publicly threatened to "Tear a Nigeria (a sovereign state) apart".
- He has gone ahead to form a quasi - military outfit with their own uniform and openly performed a military inspection of same.
- He was once caught on tape soliciting for arms and munitions abroad to unleash mayhem on the country.
- He regularly convey public gathering giving hate speeches. The intended effect of the regular gathering is what we just saw with the bus search.

Yet people still blame the govt's efforts at restoring order. People are ignoring the fact that govt officials are privy to a lot of intelligence information that will never be known to us. Over the past few months, Custom Authority have intercepted sophisticated weapons (brand new) being smuggled into the country in bulk. These are signs that unrest is building up.

Personally, I believe the govt is spot on with the military mobilization. Police cannot be deployed to counter a group with a quasi-military formations and with likely mass of armory.
