They seem to have Turkish folks now selling them guns and other stuff now. They are terrorists. You Nigerians are just as laughable as your failed country. Igbos will keep marching on until they are free from the zoological Republic |

Empty chestbeaters The rule or law exists but the Nigerian Army does not respect it for if they did, tbey would know it is illegal for the military to be involved in civil matters. It doesnt matter. The actions of Nigeria and the military only helped to convince even more Igbos that Biafra is the only future worth having. FortifiedCity: Honestly it baffles me to the core that people can do the worst evil just to see that Biafra doesn't come into existence. It's not as if they are asking for what no nation has ever asked for. They are merely using their right to self-determination.
Why are other Nigerians trembling at the mention of that name Biafra. Hypocrisy is when you are willing to advise a woman to quite an abusive marriage yet you are against Biafra's quest for independence.
The army is commiting atrocities in the name of curbing IPOB and some people are rejoicing forgetting that what goes around comes around.
We will see how all these turn out. Well its rather simple. Of the 3 main ethnic groups, Only Igbos never had an empire. Hausa- Fulani and Yorubas simply dont know how to be alone and as a result, both ethnic groups dont have any sense of self determination. For them, Nigeria is that empire that they are used to So when an Igbo man talks about leaving "the empire" for Biafra and maybe taking some of the minorities with him, it strikes fear into them. The fear of losing that beloved empire is too painful to bear |

Emmanuelbruno: In every endeavour in life there is a limit. A red line that when you reach it you pause and reflect. You think about the outcome because a step further will not only redefine your future but also for the future of those around you. Nnamdi Kanu was approaching that line when he called Nigeria a zoo and threatened to unleash terror. He reached the line when he violated bail conditions and insulted the president and commander in chief of arm forces. He crossed the line when he declared no election in Anambra state and created his Biafra Secret Services (BSS). Now it does not matter what I think or who I stand with. But any man who is not willing to suffer or die for the course he created and believed in is a scam. If Kano is as half dedicated to his course as his IPOB followers he would have surrendered to the Nigeria army. But no Kanu loves his freedom, he loves his life so he is hiding under his bed while the Nigerian army uses his followers for target practice. No man worth my tears let alone my blood. In 1970, even before the war end, Ojukwu handed over to his deputy and ran away to Ivory coast after sending millions of Igbos to early grave because of his course. He came back few years after only to contest for a senator in a country he went to war with, a war that claim the lives of more than 3 million Igbos. That action alone is a betrayal to his course and an insult to the souls of those who lost their lives in the Biafra war. He lost the election to an unpopular candidate. After that he started again the Biafra agitation. In 1999 at the arrival of democracy, he abandoned Biafra agitation and contested for president. Of course he lost and resumes Biafra agitation. The same thing happened in 2003. That is selfishness. By and large, any Igbo man who believes that a change of territorial name, [ a region with no enough fertile land for agriculture and depend on food from other region for survival; a landlocked territory and an enclave inside Nigeria] will make his life better is delusional. Let’s demand a better life from our local government chairmen, our state house of representative members, our governors, our federal house of rep members and our senator. They are the ones closer to us. It is through our demand from these people for accountability that our region will be the way we want it. You know the funny thing? There are a kot of Nigerians who will agree with this morronic write up. How is it that someone God gave a brain can be this backward? Solidiers are going about murdering people in a democratic dispensation, in a peaceful area, it might be you or your loved one tomorow, but what you are more concerned about is if Kanu surrenders himself? Chei! |

laudate: The motion for referendum to decide the question of Scottish independence, was moved by Nicola Sturgeon a Scottish parliamentarian. Section 30 of the Scotland Act 1998 in the United Kingdom and Scottish parliaments, gives full legal backing to allow a single question referendum on Scottish independence, to be held before the end of 2014. The order puts beyond doubt that the Scottish parliament, can legislate for the referendum.
Unlike IPOB supporters that want others who have nothing to do with their proposed republic, to dash them referendum, it was the Scottish people that put together the political machinery for it, and executed it. After they had followed due process by doing their homework and groundwork politically, the rest of Britain could now accede to it. Well since you seem to be quoting history. It might interest you to know that Scotland signed the 1707 Act Of Union that brought the kingdoms of Scotland, England and Wales together as the United Kingdom. So at least Scotlabd agreed to be part of them The Igbo nation never agreed to be part of any union of Nigeria. Like most ethic groups, we were forced into an illegal colonial contraption called Nigeria against our will. This why it is not necessary for us to do what Scotland did. The basis of us asking the Nigerian state for a referendum is that we never gave our consent to be part of Nigeria in the first place and we now wish to formally withdraw from the British colonial arrangement called Nigeria which we were unfortunate to find ourselves in |

chivic: In the past once there is rumour of attack on a northerner in the south,or someone makes a derogatory comment that is passived as inflammatory or derogating to Islam or even in some extreme case when isreal is said to be attacking one of the Arab countries then their is great tension in the north as sometimes it results to killing of innocent individual, destroying of businesses and burning down of worship places. However, even with the reported case on line that ipob or some miscreant are searching for hausas,a counter report in the north to remain calm by one or two groups is highly commendable. If the north where acting like this is the past,a lot of things would have been better off in this country and a lot of innocent blood shedding would have been averted .

You invade their peaceful community with your barbaric Nigerian Army, shoot several unarmed people dead, and you expect them to sing the national anthem of the country that oppresses them.
I think it would be a great idea for IPOB to instruct our people never to sing the Nigerian national anthem again.

The Army are not allowed or deployed in non combat zones. Nnamdi Kanus village is not a combat zone, what are the Army doing there? If someone is doing something the Federal government does not like, charge the persin to court, nit call in the Army abd shoot up a peaceful place. One question I want to ask, was Kanu or any member of his family one of the dead on the streets of Abia State?
Was Kanu's wife there?
Was Kanu's kids there?
Was Kanu's father there?
Was Kanu's mother there?
Was Kanu's siblings there?
Then why should you die for nothing because someone said you shall keep yelling "Biafra or death?
Until I see any of the Kanu's family members pay with their blood to bring about Biafra I will never take them seriously.
Nnamdi Kanu should sacrifice first his wife and kids who are now in faraway city of LONDON for the sake Biafra. A leader leads from the front.
My people particularly Abia state people THINK for once. You are asking people to use their head and think but even you cant think. ihatesycophant: You're ignorant. There are differences between rule of law and rule of engagement. A soldier that is detailed to maintain law and order and on the cause of maintaining law and order is confronted or engaged by intruders can not be said breached the rule of law. He can only be court martial, if he breached the rule of engagement. They didn't give him gun to act as carton and be maimed by the same people they asked him to tame for breaching the rule of law. If the soldiers had gone on their own volition to kill innocent Citizens, then your case can gel. Soldiers are not mandated to maintain law and order. That is not their constitutional role or what they are trained for. That is the job of the police. There maybe situations of civil unrest that the Police cannot handle alone and the Army is called in as back up Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB's case dont fall into that line at all because there was no break down of law and order before the arrival of the Army |

Start with your state house of Assemblies, give people reason to support you and not reasons to hate you more. Tell your various National Assembly members to raise a bill for referendum and see if it will not be debated upon. You guys are quick to point to other countries seeking independent how they are treated fairly but the manner they conduct themselves is totally different from yours. What you guys are doing is breaking the law of the country and you want to be hailed and applauded. You call the country a Zoo and the citizens animals. You bully everyone that disagree with your approach, that's not the way to go mehn. Restructuring is also not in the constitution of Nigeria, but there are people agitating for it. Why do you think nobody amongst those who want restrcturing has raised a bill for it in the national assembly? Because everbody knows it is a futile venture same as referendum. There is a section of the country that will never allow anything like restrcturing or referendum to see the light of day and the have the bock votes to do it. That a person calls a country a zoo is not a good enough reason to call for a military invasion that will cost lives |
