Hi, “receipt of transfer of the gift deed" is that the same as the gift deed alert on the bank statement?..
Also ehen using gift deed is 6 months statement still required?
Hi sorry for the late response. The receipt was just a usual one generated at the bank. But if it was an e-transfer, yeah the alert is good enough.
If you have 6 months statement, that's great.

Is it a must to pay all once?
Not all. It's up to you. IRCC will direct you to pay the Right of Permanent Residency fee if you don't pay it upfront.
Some people just jump that step by paying it all upfront.

Intellectual scam? Will you like to go back to where we all came from?
I don't think k any of us were promised automatic jobs.
We are all from a 3rd world country, not everyone will be lucky to come and start at same professional level he or she was at in Nigeria, in Canada a 1st world country.
Most people will have to start afresh, or start at a lower level, or even go back to sch.
No one lured us, we all searched for better environment and found Canada.
There are success stories all around. My frnd was a bug guy in Halliburton years ago in Nigeria when he left and started as a security man because you cannot practice engineering without licence here. After his licensing he got 180k role and after two he realized 180k is too small for him. Today he drives truck and owns two trucks and decides how much taxes he pays as a business owner. Will u say the country has scammed him?
If we are complaining, what should Doctors do? After years of study and they have to write exams for three years? Nurses have to write exam as well?

There is a reason they say they want highly educated people, people who will come face the challenge and intellectually carve a way for themselves and survive. Not because there are jobs on the street waiting for us from Nigeria.
Your truth doesn't negate his. Two things can be right at the same time. There's a reason there's no STEM in the category based draws for next year.
The PhDs, doctors, nurses they so called need are driving taxis.
The LMIA scams, TFWs driving down wages etc. Just like the US, Canadian immigration has missed some marks, it's ok to admit it. Doesn't mean we're ungrateful to the system. It's the system we hope to see our kids and the young ones grow up in, it's alright to criticise it with the aim of improvement.

Now, what happens when a good majority who wish to climb up the ladder can't? Why is how terrible Nigeria is, always the benchmark for how much we should or shouldn't criticise here?

Hello,
Please how can i register for tef exam?
how much is it? are there any website i can register just like the way ielts is done?

Thanks
If you're in Nigeria, a quick Google check for "Alliance Française" would answer your question.
TEF and TCF is #700k.
If you're outside Nigeria, check for the alliance française in your country.

Hello everyone,

I’ve been on this EE journey for 2 years now and would appreciate advice on how to proceed. I started off last year with 440 point and wrote TCF this year to boost my points. Unfortunately I didn't do as well and have only been able to pull through to 482. I highly doubt that I can improve if I rewrite. Any advice on what I can do ? I’m very close to giving up but Nigeria sad .
Hi Mina, I feel your pain. The exam isn't easy and with the current cost cry . Yet, you see that "but Nigeria", is enough reason you shouldn't give up. You're here already, the only way if forward.
Whatever it takes to improve(which you CAN), please do it. Check out the TEF/TCF thread, Identify your problem areas, ask questions, a tutor, DM people etc so many have done it and so can you. There's light at the end of the tunnel you dig.

Wish you all the best.

Am above 30
Ielts overall is 7.0
What matters is each IELTS score... Try to ensure your LRWS is 8777 in that order. If your writing is 6.5 even, you've lost a lot of points.

Though I have landed in Canada this week, my conscience would not be clear if I dont come back here to give thanks.

I started this whole process and finished it with this thread. Silent Reader. But every information, trick and turn I got it from this thread and its references. Everything I used from beginning to the end I got from this thread and its earlier versions.

Thank you to everyone who contributes to this thread.

I started everythign in 2023. My wife and I did IELTS, evaluated our WES and got into the pool.

The day we entered the pool, next day I recieved the 'important update to your account mail'.

I used the Agric Pathway. Agri-Food Pilot. My NOC was 82030.

my timeline was:

EE Profile Created: May 2023 (whilst waiting for my Wes evaluation)
ITA: September 28th 2023
AOR: Nov 18 2023
Biometrics and Medical Request: Jan 25,2024
Biometrics and Medicals Done and Passed: Jan 28th 2024
PPR Mail: March 13th 2024
Number of days from AOR to ppr: 115 days

Na that Passport submission show me shege as they told me they lost our passport photographs and I had to resend to Ghana, I resent to Ghana finish with UPS , they said no I should have sent to their office in Lagos for them to resend to Ghana on our behalf, I resent to the office in Lagos and the whole process then moved on, after we got the passports back in Nigeria and were happy...they called from the Ghana office that they have our passports photograps and what should they do with it.

Person wey don win battle no dey vex. I took it all in my stride.

grin 💃🏽 💃🏽 grin

Note: I landed this late in Canada after recieving the passports back because we decided to take our time in Nigeria to prepare before travelling. We were doing moderately okay so no pressures. I had bought the flight tickets since March when we got the PPR.

Please read and read this thread. Your own turn too go come !
This thread and others before it have helped so many, me included. If we were to pay for the information here...
Congratulations to you and yours!
Left you an email, kindly check.

Just got my TEF results. Thankfully, I made it. Thanks 79733139 for those Mathieu books. It came in handy when preparing for my EO.
Other resources I used:
1. French School TV (on YouTube) download and watch their live old videos. Listen to the remarks made after a mock situation of expression orale and expression ecrite.
2. Joined a french discord group where you meet and speak with other french learners and native speakers. Good for expression orale especially if you don't have any body to speak with.
3. Wrote at least 1 letter and fait divers every day for 3 months and ran them through Chat GPT for corrections. Chat GPT was my buddy. grin It came through for me in IELTS and now for TEF. Chat GPT helped me tremendously. I was always scoring between B1 and B2, (I even scored A2 once grin) but I focused more on the corrections GPT gave and strengthened my weak points, till I finally hit C1 a day to the exam after 3 months. Eventually, I scored a C1 in the real exam.
4. Bunch of links and videos I got from YouTube/ Facebook.

In conclusion, one has to practice, practice and practice. 700k no be joke!
Good luck!
Félicitations ! That 700k is something else honestly.

Just to encourage people to please, please, please learn French...the francophone agenda is political (edit: meaning there is a strong drive to preserve the french language and identity).

There have been and will continue to be even more French draws compared to the targeted NOC draws (last healthcare in July, last STEM in April, last transport in March & last agric in Feb)...meanwhile there have been 8 French draws in 2024.

It may be very hard at the start but I have not met anyone who tried it and regretted.

I continue to bless the day the algorithm brought that TEF thread my way. Should have been more serious with it initially, but yes not one regret!

Thanks. It’s actually IELTS General UKVI. Can I use that for Canada since it’s mainly for UK visas and a monitored variant of IELTS General. Also, does CRS score of 430 stand a chance as that is the max I can get with French added due to my age
No, unfortunately. You'll have to take the non-UKVI general IELTS.
430 does stand a chance. Thing is, the french score was never going to stay low, the last draw a few days ago was 446, a huge jump from 394 of the draw before this.
So, try to do IELTS exam and enter the pool as soon as you can, to beat the new profiles that keep being added.

Guys, please is this any good for EE with TEF.
I am very disappointed with the score honestly.
It's enough to enter the pool. Try to remark that writing, see if it comes back a 7. The difference between a 6.5 and 7 is high. So enter the pool, while you apply for a remark.

Hi All,

Happy to share that after nearly 1.5 years of studies, I cleared my 1st (and last) TCF at Alliance Francaise Lagos and received ITA yesterday in the French draw.

French took my CRS to 508 which was way more than the CRS needed for the draw, 446. I am truly grateful to God.

I'll be back to share tips and advice but first, a big shout out to all the OGs who made this thread such a valuable resource. Each time I was discouraged, I would come here and read stories of people who had made it.

N.B. If TEF is showing you shege, TCF might be a source of respite. Don't sleep on it.
What I love to hear! Glad the hard work has paid off... Félicitations !!

KINDLY HELP WITH RESPONSE PLEASE..

I got this update yesterday being Friday.

Final decision - September 13, 2024:Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

However, I did not get PPR or decision letter in my portal nor email. Just the pre arrival service letter.
How long does it take to get PPR after Final Decision update on my profile? Is it not suppose to be automatic?

Pls help with response.

ITA: March 13th
AOR: April 26th
Medical and Biometric Request: May 30th
Biometric: June 11th
Medical Passed: June 12th
Final Decision: September 13th

No PPR yet...
Final decision usually precedes getting the RFV mail or PPR letter, on average a day to a week later.
No, it isn't automatic, you are again placed on a queue for your visa office to send the letter. Wait a bit more, it will come soon👍.

Hello guys, please my brother trying to pay for his family PR application, please how can we make this payment? He has access bank dom account and we have tried to pay through this but we are getting "declined' error.

Has anyone used access bank dom account to pay for PR application? Or is there any alternative way to make this payment?

Thanks in advance guys.
I haven't, so hopefully more people weigh in.
He should check if he has the complete amount in dollars plus the bank fees.
If he has someone trustworthy abroad, he can ask the person to pay and then he transfers the naira equivalent back.

Hello everyone,

Good afternoon.

Please is it possible to appeal one's result. I had a B1 in expression orale for TCF and I would like to request for it to be remarked.

If it is possible, how do I go about it please?

Thank you
It is possible to appeal Expression orale. Reach out to the center (call or email) and tell them you want to remark. They'll send you the procedure to follow.
As long as you're still within the window to remark.

Hello House,
My friend got ITA and submitted her application. about a month later she was rejected on the basis that her police report from another country isn't complete and it didn't pass the completeness check. We are hoping that she doesn't lose the ITA and can write a letter of reconsideration to appeal this decision(and adding the correct police documents as they stated in the rejection letter). Anyone has a format to writing letter of reconsideration? Or any general advise on what can be done to turn this decision in our favour. TIA
Unfortunately, police report is one thing IRCC does not play with. I don't think a reconsideration will yield any fruits other than time wastage. I'll advise her re-enter the pool immediately for the next draw.

As for PCC, it is possible to submit without one, you have to submit proof to that effect, see below:

I use her old name on the profile for Wes, hope it wouldn't be an issue? I am just learning I ought to have use her new name
Was that the name on her passport?
If so, it's still ok.
She will submit her marriage certificate and can get a one and same person affidavit.

Currently self employed sir which NOC can u recommend
Part time Neco examiner as the job only comes once there are marking or writing neco exams
Get your ND and HND evaluated.
What matters is your job description not what you studied.
It must align with closely with IRCC's definition of that job(80%).
For the examiner portion, I'm not sure there's an exact NOC it fits, but if you have more experience in the education system, do more research using the page below:

I'd like to add that I hope she has entered the pool already. I believe she can use NOC 82030 to qualify for the Agriculture category under the CBD, while she waits to take her exam. Last draw was 437 in February.

This is your RFV letter right?
Yes you can add a child. Although I hope you mentioned this child in your initial application and you are within the 30 days of receiving this email. If yes, raise a webform informing IRCC of the addition along with a Letter of Explanation.
You will also need to update your POF.
