Yemite14557: Hello everyone, I’ve go through the first page and I need some little clarification.
I’m currently in UK ,I’m planning to to enter the draw through health care route , I have 3 years experience in NOC 33102 ,I have a master degree and I’m currently preparing for IELTS .
The requirements shows 67 point is enough to get me nominated which I can easily get after ielts .
Has there been any changes yet to the above or what else do I need to know .. Thanks you The first page contains a lot of information and you might need a couple of hours to days to digest it all. Reading just a bit further, you'd have seen that those 67 points are just the eligibility points for the express entry, and the next main step is to stimulate your CRS score with the CRS Calculator just below. With your degree(s) evaluated and your language results, you create a profile, and if your CRS score is competitive enough in a general draw(last score was 524) or a Category based draw, you get an invitation to apply. Since you're contemplating the health care route, the last draw was conducted on the 14th February with a score of 422 as the cut-off. I believe with your NOC, master's degree and years of experience, good IELTS and with age on your side you should be able to cut above that score. |

DerFuhrer: Please just to confirm, to qualify in the French proficiency category, must I use French as my first language? Or I can enter English as my first language and still qualify in the French category by virtue of my TEF result? It doesn't matter. As long as you have CLB 7, and there's a french draw, your CRS score is enough, you'll get the ITA... |

mbapelvis: Please will tef add my points if I apply on EE and use French as my second language? Definitely... Play around with the CRS Calculator... You can even use french as your first language if you're yet to do your English, who knows, there might be a french draw. |

Pablo9090: What I mean is delay in processing visa to Canada, can I make use of the money in my proof of funds and later return it back ? Is it going to affect me now that I have done my biometric since January? I strongly advise you not to until you get your PPR. It's not unheard of people failing eligibility for touching their POF. |

canadamustgo24: Please I have an inquiry. From the last french draw, was it only for those that have clb 7 in french and used the language as first language.
My friend's result is out, but she has a clb 6 in french. Her score is currently 354. Please I just want to know if they also consider clb 6 provided you meet the crs cut-off for the current draw,
Thank you Unfortunately no. She needs a CLB 7 across the 4 competencies. If the clb 6 is in either EO or EE she can request for a remark, there's a chance her score will increase. |

canadamustgo24: It will really be nice if we can all sign up for this petition. I just did. 700k is too crazy Omo! It would be but truthfully mobilising people for this cause would be difficult. I don't know if people can directly contact the Institut Français en France... Nevertheless, people are already paying and booking out the the dates. |

Application after ITA . Thank you. Were you using a Naira card? I haven't heard of it working. If you have someone abroad who can pay for you, that'll take care of it. |

LadyIE: I submitted a reference letter and provided payslips. I do have a BSc in Geology and work in the bank. I do not know if the VO officer is wondering what I may be doing at the bank. I do not have any financial certifications. I only learned on the job
Can my reference letter indicate how I grew to my current position by participating in in-house trainings? Hmmm, and you said bank statements highlighting salary paid?. You can do that in addition to all IRCC requirements. Add photos of you at work if need be, promotion letters if any. Anything to convince the VO. Our elders in the house will weigh in... |

LadyIE: Good day all, I did receive an email from IRCC and they have requested I furnish additional supporting documents as proof of meeting employment requirements for the position I stated. I did submit my offer letter, bank statement, a letter from HR during the initial application.
Can anyone advise me on how to go about this, or what documents do should I provide again.
Thank you You didn't submit a reference letter? You can also provide payslips. |

wondychiqe: Woow how time flies! Last time I was here was 2020 where I missed the last draw cos I was remarking IELTS. Haunted me for the past years. Ready to try again but I will be 30 by July so I need to hurry. I will write IELTS by May again.🥲
Please where can I learn French in Abuja and the cost please? Its never too late I believe. French and Category based draws can be a rescuer. For French, I'd advise a tutor(private if possible) for the structure and maybe speed. Else an institute. IEF and Alliance Française are good. Do check the TCF/TEF thread. French is a long term game, with so many variables, so giving an exact figure is dicey. It's pricey especially now but not for what it's worth. The exam price has also been increased to #700k. |

PrincessAriel: I tried making payments for CELPIP exams on Monday when it was still 76k and it didn't work.
Just this evening, I checked and it is now 220k on their website. 😫 They've adjusted it naira to dollar now. The closest date is also June. Wow. |

Enculer2: It is tightening. I saw some YT Canadian guys posting some very borderline anti-immigrants stuff as well. Oh that's Reddit for me, those dudes are something else... The truth is we love and want to live in the Canada of our dreams(whatever that may look like)become permanently residents and even citizens of a Canada that's working. If they believe tightening immigration laws and reducing the number of immigrants into their country is the way to preserve that Canada, then all good and well. We want to leave here for a reason and won't want to see it become like what we left behind. Laws come and go but hopefully Canada gets back it's former glory and we see these laws relax once again. |

AdwoaBee: Please I have booked for my celpip test and i need help with tips and materials to ace it.Also I need some recommendations on place(s) to stay that is close by that is safe and affordable. (VI Dragnet Prometric Test Center. Katia Gardens, Plot 1676, 3rd Floor / Oladele Olashore Street, Off Sanusi Fafunwa Street.) I don't stay around that area, so hopefully others chime in on accommodation recommendations. For the exam, there are 2 free tests on the site. After this YouTube is the next best place to be. Hzad Education, Ali Rastegari, the official CELPIP channel and others. I also have a CELPIP folder on Google Drive that was sent to me. Not sure how I can share it. Lastly, please how much did you end up paying for the exam? |
