Even if they register, commit a crime, get arrested, get sentenced, they will suddenly be considered as "Repentant Herdmen" and granted amnesty, this is Nigeria, we have a lot to deal with. God help us. 1 Like |

Family / Re: Not All Parts Of Imo State Is Expensive To Marry From: Enough Is Enough by Austin4Jesus(m): 1:23pm On Jan 22, 2021 |
One question I always ask when it comes to traditional expenses of marriage and even burial is "What about those poor farmers, bicycles repairer and other very poor guys that make less than 30k monthly, how do they manage to get married traditionally and bury their dead"? So it came to my understanding that if you allow them into your pocket, they will suck it dry because they believe you came from the city with plenty money, so they will be willing to spend out of the treasure they perceive. Now, there are traditional demands, YES they exist But not all of them MUST be met, the ones that MUST be met are not expensive, hence the very poor guys can get married and bury their folks without taking loan (who will even grant them loan) because they know them in the village to be very poor, so they are exempted from those outrageous demands they dish out to city guys and the City guys also wanna show off and impress their Inlaws will kill themselves to satisfy their Inlaws and that continued and became a norm. So my suggestion to guys who wanna marry from the so called expensive location, don't go flaunting money, stay low and try and have a good relationship with your father inlaw and a couple of her uncles and let them know you are working with this budget and you need their help, they know what to do to save your money, that's if you find favour in their eyes because there are very greedy fatherinlaw out there. Then get a friend that come from that state who will escort you to negotiate demands with them as well, with all these, they will not have their way totally into your pocket. Traditional demands were made by men, and they can be broken too. It is not everyone that spends exactly what you spend, Waiver is also possible in traditional affairs. Please do not be discouraged, be humble and it will help you save money. 17 Likes 2 Shares |

Prof. Yemi Osinbajo is the sane Man I am seeing in this present government, though he can not do much now because he doesn't have the power. If that Man becomes the president on or before 2023, Nigeria will take a new shape in a very short time, I have this strong conviction.. Nigeria will have a new atmosphere, Sanity will return and life will be better for Nigerians. May God Spare our lives to experience it. Amen. |

If she can afford it, she is an adult, sometimes you needs serious calmness and privacy to enable you birth something very vital in destiny. It happens to every serious minded person in life, at a point, you would want absolute privacy so you can think, plan, meditate, read and Most especially Pray whenever you want, and not waiting for everyone to go out which may never happen depending on the family size and apartment size.
