igbodefender:At a time people thought he was either Fani Kayode or very close to the powers that be. Nairaland history cannot be complete without certain characters, they appear like an avatar and the dissappear with the thin air! special mention of Okija juju,Beaf, cramejones, bluetooth(for the wrong reasons),Ezechucks et al. |
i do not hold anything against Mr Sowore presidential ambition but i know this is just a publicity stunt. Young and vibrant youths like Mr Sowore can make the difference but even youths from his very constituency would rather vote any idiot recommended by Bola Tinubu than follow the voice of reason. I therefore suggest that he should contest for Lagos governorship and test the water, many of us who are real progressive will vote him for Lagos governorship position. We need fresh air and Mr Sowore has what it takes. |
if we dont forgive PDP for stealing billions then what would happen to you that stole trillions of Lagos money alone and you are stll raping and ravaging Lagos to stupor....sir, fear God! |
As we usually say in warri 'yeye the smell'. |
its a big shame that Nigeria, once a promising country with lots of hope, has now been thrown to the dogs. My heart bleeds! |
The world cup in Russia is your world cup,you should be there with us,you partly made it happen for us...your absence will be largerly felt. Get well quick! My number ONE. |
No matter how long it takes, nobody can stop an idea who's time has come, either you change by it or the wind of change will carry you into irrelevancy.....God bless the Land of the rising sun,it must set forth at dawn! |
wild wild west....this one that the Oba is insisting on islamic structures, soonest you mallams will start asking for sharia law to guide your dealings in yoruba land. Is just that Your undiluted crave for alcohol and olosho will nt allow you alfas talk of sharia in south west. |
....so money didnt exchange hand,no prisoner swap, one of the world most dangerous terrorist group with an ideology from the pit of hell, has now turned the beautiful bride releasing there captives through 'prerogative of mercy' or probably there love for Mr Buhari or by Mr Buhari's most respected body Language. Again this repentant terrorist inspite of 'back channel'means used by the president's men to get the girls released, they still held on to one innocent christian girl while insisting she has to turn to islam. May God keep us alive so that we shall get to end of this politically mischievous drama going on in Nigeria. |
fiizznation:...happy to see them released to there parents but pls can your president talk to them to release our christian Chibok girls,we will appreciate it,its long over due! |
....and yet we have a president and commander in chief of the armed forces and to even think that some people still want him to contest again. How do people like Bola Tinubu,Amaechi,Adams Oshiomole,Joe Igbokwe etc sleep at night, bearing in mind that the monster they unleashed on Nigeria is eating Nigerians up. Yes we have fulani cattlemen crisis in the past but how they now moved to all corners of this country and maiming people with reckless abandon and our security seems so helpless, keeps me wondering. Yet some fail to understand that an agenda is being systematically carried out....wait till the man from Daura gets another 4year tenure, only then will some people realise the true agenda,'this is just a tip of the iceberg'. |
deji17:In the words of a civil right activist 'i liberated a lot of slaves,i could have liberated a lot more if only the knew they were slaves'! I wont insult you, because you are a victim. |
deji17:slave boy what do you know, they told you in the mosque to support PMB even if Nigeria will burn down,as long as he is a muslim. In the words of Bishop Oyedepo 'slaves who love there chains'! |
....Tony Momoh for standing with falsehood,in the face of obvious genocide, may the blood of innocent Nigerians massacred daily by Fulani killer herdsmen, speak against you and your family. Amen |
All i can see is a great Nigerian,i dont know why some people are not happy that a Nigeria has attained such a great height, some people are taking this online hatred for others to another level. If people like sarrki had used his time very well, who knows he could be the one Nigeria would be celebrating but he has choosen a life of online thuggery,E-tribal war, defending our looting and brutal politicians whom kids are studying somewhere in Harvard or Yale. May God give our youths the grace to move on from this online thuggery and tribalism. |
Even his visit in jos plateau state was short of expectations, the rented crowd from various LGA of the states, sure was organized by the puppet governor of plateau st. Just to impress Mr Buhari...the picture of people climbing sign boards just to see him,was possible because of the large number Almajiri's in Jos and as you well know, the are adviced in there various mosque to go and welcome Buhari, since he was 'choosen by god'. I hope Benue people must be very alert because the few places he has visited experienced Fulani herdsmen attack on the day of such visits. |
Quality20:listen to yourself, blame the governor, while the man who is the president and in control of the police and military should be giving a tap in the back. I hail thee! |
This is what you get when you decided to elect an inept, retired and tired septuagenarian to run a nation. Join the RED CARD movement,he must head back to Daura! Even elderly men of his age like Mo Ibrahim,Obasanjo etc are all asking him to head back to Daura,we must correct this grave mistake. |
Whenever you hear Joe Igbokwe speaks, you should know that he has spoken the mind of Tinubu...he is an errand boy for the Lagos politician,he has long sold his conscience for a pot of porridge. Tinubu is very well known for being cunning and always speaks through proxy,in other to avoid direct confrontation. |
All those small boys that keep shouting 'leave our lagos,go back to ur villages'....how market?i know very soon many of you will be squatters under the bridge, the Landlords are coming for your heads. |
mallam2016:Your hypocrisy is epic,so you think senators just decided to go to the Airport for fun, this is the true picture of what APC stands for, that is violence. Little wonder ever since the advent of this present APC govt. Its been killings here or there. They strive to use violence as an object of oppression and intimidation. You could imagine a party that produced gangster governors like Yahaya Bello of Kogi,El-Rufai of Kaduna,Rochas Okorocha of Imo etc....this are people who breath and feed on violence. Just watch and see how the shenanigan heading custom services in Nigeria and APC govt will cover up this national sabotage by kogi governor. |
what does this Miyetti Allah group want, when they herdsmen go on killing spree, they say the dont know them, that they herdsmen are either from Mali or Sudan. When the helpless indigenes go for self help in other to protect there communities and kill some percieved killer herdsmen, the Miyetti group comes out with their usual annoying tantrum, claiming that there people are being killed. We all need peace in Nigeria and peace remains the only way out. How we wish that this killer herdsmen will go back to Futa Jallon, allow indigenous communities to continue living in peace with the 'honest and original' Fulani herdsmen from Nigeria. |
Yoruba revisionists always think that they can turn history to favour them, who does not know that in pre independence Nigeria, Igbos where more exposed, educated, ambitious, welly travelled and adventurous,as its obtainble today. The colonial masters were said to be more at home with Prof. obi, going by his exposure, training abroad and managerial know how, they couldnt risk giving an institution of that magnitude to an ill-exposed prof. Whom may plunder there legacy and in those days,as it is now,Yorubas are not so good in managing big establishments, they are more inclined to social life, wasteful celebrations(Owambe),extravagancy etc Little wonder how multinational companies that where forcefully collected from whites, through an obnoxious law known as 'nationalization',formulated by Awolowo and co,which was hurriedly implemented in early 70's,just shortly after the civil war,so as to prevent Igbos who where just coming out of a bloody war, from participating in the bids. Fast forward to present day,all such companies as criminally acquired by Yoruba elites are all folded up or in the verge of collapse. I think most yorubas are bad managers, prefers partying to work,i stand to be corrected. |
How about this, ordinary criminals are daily prosecuted or executed in Nigeria but this whole idea of keeping the murderous commanders of boko human in detention and released during bargain for kidnapped victims,is both annoying, morally reprehensible, unjustifiable and appaling. How then do we intend to win this war against these terrorists from the pit of hell. They are constantly rewarded by the Nigeria authority, they are given huge sums, released when caught and the go back and kidnap a new set of people that will be used for prisoner swap.It is now a vicious cycle of event, they kill and abduct Nigerians at will, knowing that they will always be 'rewarded' for their evil acts. Our politicians are only out for their interest without considering the implications of there decision. But with a new man in that video,it may be that Shekau is no more or incapacitated or there is a division in his group. |
when we decided to elect an inept and incompetent president to lead us,simply because we felt that Jonathan is from a minority group,an Ijaw man for that matter, whom we choose to hate withlut justification. Nigeria is now a joke in the comity of nations,Wherever and whenever Nigeria is mentioned, sane nations use it for comic relief and yet we boast of having about the highest level of intellectuals in Africa. Yet tribalism, nepotism and pronounced bitterness for others has blinded a whole nation. How do we explain this mess we got ourselves into? This is a big shame. Imagine the clown that is the inspector general of police, very sectional, timid, unserious, corrupt, crude and unrefined, only in Nigeria is such obtainable. |
In the jungle, the lion is the king....Nigeria is either a jungle or a zoo! |
I say this without fear of contradiction,PMBs handlers are about the worst anyone can think of. What surprises me the most is that some so called well informed and educated Nigerians still follow this inept and incompetent leader, without having the intellectual capacity and boldness to let him know how he has ridiculed both himself and the nation in the past two -three years now. I heard he is planning to embark on another jamboree trip to Jos plateau state next week, while Benue and Yobe is bleeding and crying out for a fatherly love. This is a shame of a nation. |
tubolancer:Ignorance is when you dont understand the dynamics of neo-colonialism and economic expansionism. You may have to ask China why are they trooping to even 3rd world countries,or Indians working in different sub-saharan African countries or the Jews in Eastern Europe even when there countries are better off. Stay home and be spoon fed while our youths are taking up opportunities as they come, even in your backyard. |
Why do you have to reply there assertions, they have the right to say or write whatever nonsense they so wish. As for me,its been a long while i dont read all this parapo ngb*ti newspapers, for them the reason why Nigerians are suffering is because of Igbos, there envy is beyond comprehension, you need to see there reactions when ever anything about ndigbo is mentioned on nairaland. The truth is that, who ever God has blessed, you cant wish it away. Our antagonists are our helpers, dont you observe the rate at which massive development is taking place in various south Eastern states, down to our villages, this is because our people are beginning to realise that certain sections of this country dont really wish them well and they always have eyes on our investments,so diversifying home is now the norm! It is the way to go. I pity these people who think there people are either president or had been presidents before, how do they explain the penury that exists in there various states and Nigeria as a whole, the stake is beyond presidency, the quest should be,getting the right person from whatever geopolitical zone of the country, that can fix things right. Hunger has no boundry. God bless all Nigerians! |
TeamSimple:Exactly why the likes of Don Waney,Obata osu etc are right now in there various graves, they where made to face the full wrath of the Law but same cannot be said of the north. Cant you even see how killer herdsmen are walking the streets as free men!Even some suspected Boko haram members are freed on the flimsy excuses that they are now changed men and are rehabilitated. |
