MrBrownJay1:many Nigerians needs occassional psychiatrics check up,i wonder who will be your next victim....frustrated people everywhere, hope this your madness ends online! |
Apt and timely, saying it as it is! ....Nigeria is more like George Orwell's 'Animal farm',where some animals are more important than others'. The case of North East and the politics surrounding it is pathetic, money meant for welfare of both soldiers and those in IDP camps are squandered at will, and i ask a simple question, beyond the pretence of love by the presidency for the North East,'how can you believe that a man who killed your father and married your mother, would take good care of you'? The 'presidents men'(Babachir etc) allegedly steals from the people of North East and the president turns a blind eye but rather shows his much celebrated love for north East by asking the world bank to focus on the North East,i rest my case. In our local parlance,'Yeye dey smell'. |
i use to respect Tinubu, right from his days in NADECO but i wonder how a man from such background would stoop so low to present the most nepotic, tribalistic, myopic, inefficient man of all times,to rule an ethnically diverse nation like nigeria. My heart bleeds because my country has been offered to the dogs....Tinubu whom i respected and his cohorts, has a date with posterity, for diminishing mankind in the worst form of misrule and reckless abandon. |
This woman wearing Gucci shoes, christian dior bags, rolex and Longines watches on the back of being a first Lady, while millions of Nigerian women are wallowing in abject poverty, has guts to talk, when she has never worked or earned a decent penny all her life. Anyway this is Nigeria, where miscreants are leaders and there opinions are acceptable....she is corruption personified! |
There president sent the military to weaken your spirit through the so called 'python dance',hence with the help of state apparatus and fulani army and (DSS) Daura secret service, you cannot rule out anything....we already know there modus operandi! |
ding!ding!dong!......the bogeyman is by the corner, the evil date is fast approaching. 'who will love my country'!!! |
otitokoroleti:i still dont know how some you always manage to call out sarrki, when its obvious the young man is sick in the head,to a large extend,he is jobless, more like an online pawn used by PMBs royalists, they give him peanuts to sustain a living.....for me,his comment is only good for comic relief, more like a national clown, jumping from one circus(topic) to the other. Some people can be so shameless in this life, sold his conscience for a mere porridge,i still wonder how people like this sleep at night, |
TonyeBarcanista:Truly disappointed in you,the massacre going on in the middle belt and some part of the south by the rampaging Fulani herdsmen and yet,the unusual silent from the governing authorities. Just a week ago,the people of Myango in Bassa LGA of Plateau state, woke up to an attack by the marauding fulani herdsmen and 19 people were killed, according to official reports, yet Nigeria and Nigerians did not see such attack on innocent people as a threat to national unity. Rather it is the harmless protesters in the East that are regarded as a threat to national unity. A novelist once said,'when they came for civil rights activists ,I didn't talk because I wasn't one, when the came for the Jews, I didn't say anything because I wasn't one, when they came for blacks yet I said nothing, because am not one but when they came for me,there was nobody left to speak on my behalf'. We must speak up for justice,or forever stay silent. There are more civil ways of arresting civil up rises all over the world,we all wish and pray for a peaceful Nigeria, where equity and justice is the order of the day. |
What can i say,the aftermath of an ill-conceived,visionless,tactless and useless Python dance in the Eastern states of Nigeria. I hope the Nigerian Army has the capacity to contain the conflagration they ignited. May God watch over us all. The South East now is under an occupation force in there own country. The barbaric, crude and unrefined way Nigeria army is going about there operation in the East is truly unacceptable, where lies the internationally accepted military rules of engagement. First it was the Muslim sect Shia and now the madness has shifted to the East. |
DIRECTORATE OF PRESS & PUBLIC AFFAIRS OFFICE OF THE EXECUTIVE GOVERNOR, PLATEAU STATE PRESS RELEASE The Executive Governor of Plateau State has expressed great dismay and shock at the sudden build up of tension in Jos Metropolis on account of the conduct of some disgruntled elements, who have decided to throw the metropolis into confusion on account of their negative reaction to the agitations of Independent People of Biafra (IPOB) in the South East. Consequently, the Governor has directed an immediate imposition of curfew from dusk to dawn (6pm – 6am) within the Greater Jos – Bukuru Metropolis, until further notice. The deployment of security personnel to all flash points within the metropolis has also been directed to ensure compliance with the curfew order and to avert any further breach of law and order. The Governor wishes to assure all citizens that the security and welfare as the primary concern of Government is assured by the Rescue Administration. He is therefore enjoining all citizens to go about their business with the assurance that their safety is guaranteed. He further appealed to all religious and community leaders, neighbourhood vigilantes as well as all law abiding citizens to ensure nobody is allowed to take advantage of this unfortunate situation to engage in criminality. The Governor wishes to restate that Plateau State remains home to all citizens of Nigeria irrespective of religion, ethnic extraction or political persuasion. He therefore enjoins all peace loving citizens to ensure that nothing is allowed to upset the hard earned peace in the State. THREE DAYS CURFEW DECLARED IN JOS,6am-6pm daily. |
abiodunalasa:The problem with some of you guys is that, you just scratch the issue from the surface, just to appease the proponents of one Nigeria or to be called a civilized gentleman. How do you explain out the issue of a president, whom historically has shown his unhidden disdain for Igbos, dont forget the 97%-5% hate speech he made, look at his appointments, just take a look at his recent NNPC appointments, where no single Igbo was considered inspite of having two or more oil producing states. He has continued to show his endemic and devilish agenda against the igbos, what happens to government of inclusion. Look at the systematic exclusion of the East in the railway projects etc and you clowns sit there and shout one Nigeria. I ask,can there be peace without justice? |
congrats to Plateau United and thanks to Rangers for playing to the gallery on that final match against Plateau united......the game has since been sorted out !lol. Heard Rangers were taken to stefans at Rayfield for clubbing a night before the match. |
can there be peace without justice.....just asking. |
wild! Wild! West! so bad,may his soul rest in peace. |
Michael004:bros mtn Nigeria has Pascal Dozie as the highest share holders outside the south Africans. you Yorubas ge eji eze pea ekwelle! Leave Ibos alone, they are too use to being succesful! It is in there genetic make up. |
Dainikel:Bros what are you waiting for, while you are away,Igbo land has so much developed and if you are from Anambra, then i will tell you that Awka the state capital is like a private developmental site, new and welly planned layouts come up over night and things are largely taking shape...Enugu,Owerri,Abakiliki,Aba,Asaba are not doing bad at all. ala igbo adigomma! Ndi ugwu and ndi ofe mmanu,ga fu nke toro baiti! |
Dainikel:Bros what are you waiting for, while you are away,Igbo land has so much developed and if you are from Anambra, then i will tell you that Akwa the state capital is like private developmental site, new and welly planned new layouts come up over night and things are largely taking shape. ala igbo adigomma! |
The drama just started, the days and months ahead is going to be full of drama, a lot more is still going to be revealed. Nigeria is at a cross-road,never in our history have we been this ridiculed. When the center can no longer hold, your guess is as good as mine. This is the begining of the intricate chain of events that will take place soon, the struggle for power, deception and grave conspiracy, man's insatiable quest for power, the cabals, the power blocks, the military, king makers, the oligarchy, ethnic groups, religious bodies and the uniformed ignorant masses which will serve as the ultimate sacrificial lamb. |
UzuegbuProsper:No amount of propaganda and lies can defeat truth, truth is constant. Rochas went to U.J as a part time student and bought his way through the university,Rochas has a history of fraud, dont forget he was the first appointee sacked by Obasanjo when OBJ was a civilian president, being that Obj was ahead of him in game of dirty politics, knowning Rochas and his criminal intensions. In Imo state,he is seen as a devils incarnate, with plethora of deception,he has succeeded in wrecking every good thing Imo state is known for. Hear this,he tells you university education in Imo state is free but ask any graduate from IMSU and they openly tell you how they were deceived,on finishing your programme, you are made to pay #100,000 plus just to collect your result. This is accumulation of the school fees put together for you to pay at the end of your programme, outside other money you pay in different funny names. Am yet to see a Nigerian as criminally minded as Rochas. |
Chikpat:Then if it where in America,Rochas would have been in White House. And your sick president would not have informed Americans what is actually wrong with him, even after 70 days outside America. Just like Rochas, you are an olodo of the highest order. Your comment is only good for comic relief! |
Rochas the shamless con man,you tried it with Willie Obiano, you got served, you tried it with FFK you got served,if only you have shame. You should ve known that those who live in glass houses dont throw stones. You went to London with other governors, the came back and kept mute because they simply cant defend the situation of things the met in London. But in your usual shamelessness and culture of deception, you ve been singing like a bird. If only you have shame If only you ve not lost your conscience If only you ve not sold your soul your situation seems irredeemable!!! |
well said,Mr Akiku! |
i doubt if anybody still takes MURIC serious, just because the christians in Taraba decided to defend themselves against the marauding Fulani herdsmen,it is now a sin to defend yourself. But while these Fulani terrorists were committing genocide and serial ethnic cleansing,MURIC and other Islamic bodies lost there voice. As the years passes by,we are all beginning to understand the modus operandi of Muslisms in Nigeria, using the theory of the 'oppressor crying more than the oppressed'. 'You can decieve some of the people, some of the time but nt all the people all the time'. We are reaching the end of the tunnel and light will shine once again! |
Lagos and useless Obas, you cant seperate both....while expelling this Oba of Magodo, dont forget to expel the main Oba of Lagos,i have a feeling that one may be into serious rituals and its because of his failure as an Oba,that all this other small criminal Obas are emerging in Lagos. Why are all the big time kidnappers staying in Magodo?this now explains where evans learnt his profession from, may be Evans wasnt even a kidnapper until he moved in to Magodo! |
immediately the news came in that some militias from mambilla who had mobilise to defend there native land against the fulanis had gained upper hands. The federal government quickly sent troops to the place, drafted fighter jets to the zone and moved the service chiefs to Taraba....all this is for what?because all mighty and untouchable fulanis has been killed but all over Nigeria they fulani herdsmen leave a trail of blood wherever they visited and they federal govt tells us that they are Malians and nothing meaningful has been done to stop this. indeed Nigeria is a huge joke. This is why the Nnamdi Kanu's are now heros because government has continued in its policy of Fulanocracy! |
Peinstein:you are very much on point...am igbo and i ve been to Obi local govt in Nasarawa, they are not Igbos,i believe Obi should mean something else in there language. They are equally nice people! |
The Igala communities in Anambra are basically riverine areas and the terrain is similar to the niger-delta creeks,so this makes it difficult to navigate and bring in much needed development and the igbo communities in those areas face similar challenges, but effort are geared towards doing all that is possible to fix it right. Governor Obiano has done much towards opening up the agrarian and riverine communities of Anambra state,in other to be at par with other zones of the state and no one can dispute it. Igbos and Anambrarians are known to be there brothers keepers and no form of discrimination has been recorded against the Igala people. The Anambra Broadcasting station(ABS) Awka, always present news in English,Igbo and Igala. In an effort to carry every indigene of the state along and give all sense of belonging. The Atah of Igala can testify to this and the cordiality between the Igbos and Igala speaking people wherever they are. |
We seem to be going round in a vicious circle,we fight a terrorist that is directly or indirectly being financed by the government. How else do you explain the fact that as soon as Boko haram is beginning to run out of fund, negotiation is opened up and a few of the chibok girls or 'made to believe' Chibok girls are released and government in-turn gives them millions of dollars(billions of naira) and the recruitment excercise for boko haram picks up,and there expert bombers are equally released to them! Seriously,we are in for a long thing,Nigeria must restrategise and change our modus operandi,we are equally endangering our neighbours and exposing them to regional terrorism. No doubt the Nigerian army is doing a great Job and we appreciate it,kudos to them but those in the highest making body of our security must way there decisions and get it right, beyond political gains. |
i have always known that Igbos love Nigeria more than any other, they have invested every nook and cranny of Nigeria, believing in the Nigerian dream and doing all the could to contribute there quota to the development of Nigeria. However one would ask, what did they get back for there patriotism? They were battered, marginalized and largerly hated by others. They where pushed to the wall, they had no choice but to repel and there youths are now seeing a country of there dream in Biafra,a country where merit is above quota system, where brain drain will give way to brain 'gain',where tribalism and nepotism will give way for strength character and hard work,a country where there is no 5% detested ones and 95% choosen ones,a country where indiscriminate movement of livestocks will give way to a ranching system. A country where no ethnic group has the sole right to move around with arms and ravage communities,a country where projects and appointments are equally distributed. |
coolebux:you can not have one in Asaba and have another in Onitsha, you can easily jog to Asaba in the morning, just 20mins jogging! Moreso, not when you already have mega infinix reps in Onitsha. |
