You guys are unbelieveable,i made a statement which is unifying,i said Anambrarians and Igbos in general are so proud of Enugu state, non of you showed interest in it,as if you all were waiting for one anambra guy to just say something negative and all hell was let loose. Why cant we just discuss with love as ndigbo and forget all this bickerings. Igbo Amaka! |
He knows that a silent genocide is going on against the minority christian tribes in Nigeria, yet he sleeps at night, cherish and savour the beauty of Aso-rock and enjoying all the pecks of power. He walks up to the fulani ruling class every morning to say 'Ranka dede',in approval of a work well done. I leave him with the timeless word of Martin Lurther King jnr 'in the end we shall remember not the words of our enemies but silent of our friends'. I pray that the blood of innocent Nigerians who were massacred by this priviledged Fulani terrorist group, will water the trees of freedom. |
They say you are the Boss of all boses, learnt you are the godfather of two cities, heard you 'are the man they couldnt arrest',but i think this is another opportunity to make peace, stop the blood spill and go legit with your businesses! If you are innocent, fine and good but if you are guilty, atone for your sins...I also learnt that nemesis is a b*tch,it takes no prisoners! |
AmunaNo1:You took us through a long journey into the realm of (mis)interpretation and am finding it very hard to dispute your manipulative lies. I'm sure op will be more confused than ever before. However, the truth remains that there are angels and demons, therefore the demons that exists in marine environment, makes up the marine spirit hence the mermaid. There are reports of those who have encountered it both in Nigeria and elsewhere, while some claim she gave them wealth others hold her responsible for there misfortune. I remember an old Nigerian musician sang songs in appreciation of mammy water, can't get his name now,he sang and i quote 'if you see mammy water never never you run away...'! My candid advice to the op,'curiosity they say, kills the cat',dont waste valuable time searching for the existence or non existence of mermaid, live your life like tomorrow is your last day,be good to all the people you can while you can and allow lifes mystery sort itself out. God bless you! |

Its a shame that Nigeria has completely lost it under the watchful eyes of President Buhari. This is the definition of incomppetency, the situation in Nigeria is captured in Judges chapter 21 vs 25;'in those days Isreal had no king, everyone behaved as he so wishes'. Its obvious that the leadership of this country has failed woefully. |
i wonder how 25 to 30 APC stray youths who where shared money for few bottles of beer now represents the great youths of Anambra and the author said about 2000 youths,i cant stop laughing. Let IGP stop all this dramatization and go and face the senators because they are the representatives of the Nigerian people, duely elected. |
To think that Mr Buhari often boast of his achievements in securing the country is both insulting and calumnious...what is secretly happening in the middlebeltern region is nothing other than genocide while the world turns the other way! This is another Rwanda. |
Mr senate president, please say no more, your party has failed Nigeria in totality, even war ravaged syria and Libya join together did not have this number of death from January to now and yet Mr Buhari is shamelessly seeking re-election. My heart bleeds! |
HtwoOw:some of you seems to reason from your Anus, the last thing i will do is to hold brief for a proven corrupt politician but speaking recklessly the way you did, shows you could equally be part of Nigerians problem, you write without reasoning, more like 'an automated online mumu',who are PDP corrupt politicians?the same people who are now in government, how comes that all the former governors that now make up the APC are now saints?...you as an ordinary Nigeria is a victim of the political game being played by our elites. I pray for a government that will truly fight corruption not for political expediency but in totality,as it is down in higher climes and only then we can institute the anti corruption mentality as a culture and a way of life. |
It is so funny how APC government has turned the much applauded anti-corruption fight into a political tool for hunting down oppositions. Ex-governor Jang is a man of exceptional character, known for prudency, from his days as a top military officer,to being the governor of old Gongola state to being the governor of Plateau state. Anybody who have stayed in Plateau state, will tell you that never in the history of the state, has any governor performed the near magic achievement of Gov Jang,he was able to change the face of Jos with very lean resources.Even the present APC governor can attest to the fact that given 20yrs he may not be able to achieve a quarter of Jangs developmental strides. Even Jangs worst enemies in Jos will always tell you that Jang is the president Nigeria is searching for, severally Efcc had made efforts in the past to pick him up for political reasons but they more the try, they more the find it had to pin him down with any irregularities, his contract sums are usually very small to compare with similar elsewhere. Even Magu Effc chairman's conscience will be pricking him for holding a noble and incorruptable innocent Nigeria against his wish but for political expediency and so that the wish of his masters in Abuja will be fulfilled. PMB,Magu,Lalong etc all will definately have a date with justice for touching an innocent man, nemesis is lurking by the corner. |
Xander85:Please say no more!'nothing unifies other tribes in Nigerian than there common hatred for the Igbos'- Prof. chinua Achebe Buhari's support in some part of this country,is not because he is working or because he has been able to secure Nigeria but simply because PMB has shown great disdain for ndigbo both in projects and appointments. 'In the end we shall remember not the words of our enemies but the silent of our friends'-Martin Lurther King. |
Immediately i saw 'the Nations newspaper',i couldnt stop laughing,my only worry is that NANS should please stay out of politics...allow dirty politics for dirty politicians,in Nigeria, deception is now a noble game. We are use to brown envelop editorial inother to make cheap political gains. |
Pharaoh9:if thats all is needed to put sense of reasoning into you and probably stop you from this public dance of shame, then i accept your insult! |
Pharaoh9:....'there is a way that seemth right to man,the end thereof is death'-Bible Young man,i know you are seeking attention from nairalanders but you took it too far. |
...after insulting Nigerian youths and calling them 'lazy',his handlers has told him to start apppointing youths and doing everything possible to appease them but the bad news is that youths and even the old has long decided to send Mr Buhari to Daura, for being grossly incompetent. He has proven over time that he is biggest mistake of this century and those who voted him are still in regret. |
This man dont just have anything to offer Nigerian! |
doctokwus:say no more my brother! While Benue and some parts of Nassarawa state burns, the inept and incompetent president is gallivanting in Bauchi state and he seems so helpless and confused. How did we as a nation got to this all time low, having elected a dunce for a president. |
We Anambrarians and Igbos in general are so happy and proud of Enugu, keep it up,in the never dying spirit of ndigbo in attaining great heights, our various states are developing massively....kudos! |
This is a declaration of war against the people of middlebelt in particular and christians at large.....people must rise to the occassion,'all hands must be on deck'! Gen. TY Danjuma has said it all. I repeat, this is a declaration of war,Nigeria is a nation at war against itself.'the denial of our right,is an invitation to fight for it'-anonymous! |
Stealing the mace of the senate with hired thugs, shows how easy it is to compromise our security system. How on earth did those thugs get to the hallow chamber. Nigeria,a theatre of the absurd! |
....'a man without self control, is like a city without gate'-bible. |
Yyeske:IPOBians are Igbos and have the right to join in any discussion or topic on any of the Igbo states and also on issues that has to do with our Igbo brothers of delta,Rivers etc...i thought gentlemanism is not built on uniformity of ideas, for as much as i know,we should all agree to disagree. If some of us think we are not pro-Biafra then we must endeavour to defeat the pro-Biafrans with superior argument deviod of threats and insults.I also know that some Ipobians can be very insultive here on Nairaland but it takes maturity of the mind to manage such without stooping to there level. My opinion though! chukwu gozie umu igbo, ifunanya ka aye nayo! |
Yyeske:I have never known you to be passionate about Anambra or ndi igbo affairs and also i dont understand this whole idea of you issuing out threat in a public forum except your mission is to derail this thread. Am also pleading with my fellow Anambrarians to please focus on the significance of this thread and lets have a meaningful and progressive discussion. Meanwhile kudos to Obiano for being insightful when it matters most. |
These herdsmen dont take prisoners, they kill everyone on sight, they leave a trail of blood whenever and wherever they come visiting, even when Aliyu Umaru Almakura the governor of Nasarawa state has been acting as there defacto spokesman, they still killed in his backyard. They killed in Kogi, despite Governor bello's avowed loyalty to the ruling Fulani oligarchy and his much talked about love for killer herdsmen! They maimed and killed senselessly in Bassa and Bokkos both in Plateau state inspite of Governor Lalongs Jingo patriotism and servitude behaviour towards the Fulani ruling class and his criticism of the handling of the Benue crisis by Gov. Ortom of Benue state. The question is?how long are we going to turn away and pretend that nothing is happening,we are a nation at war against itself...the blood of the innocent is crying out loud! Our land is seeking for justice and there can never be peace without justice. |
Good idea but the question is,since National defence academy (NDA)is in Kaduna, police University which most people dont even know about is in Kano, police staff college is in Jaji near Jos in Plateau state, the mobile police training camp is already in Gwosa maidugari and almost every other military academy is in the north, why not site this one in the south or does situating military academy in the south pose security threat to Nigeria? |
igbodefender:I guess for some, there moniker no longer meets their present statues as either repentant tribalists or dont serve there present views or for the purpose they wish to use it for e.g one can easily tell that IpobExposed registered that moniker just to counter or fight Ipobians. For some also, there former moniker now became their alter ego,it follows them around, behaving strangely in real life simply because of bad experiences he or she has had with that moniker online,he now hates people he shouldnt hate,he sees certain people as always against him, hence the need to change his moniker to one that reflects his true person or simply put,to run away from there past, then for others they change their moniker for fun of it....may be we need a social psychologist to explain better Lol! |
I wonder which ones are Arewa pastors when i cannot see Pastor Isa EL Buba of Ebomi ministries,i cannot see Bishop Hassan Kukah of the catholic diocese of sokoto,i cannot see Pastor Eneche of Dunamis,Bro Alu of Bride Assembly, these are some of the movers of christainity from the North of Nigeria and usualy says it as it is,eye ball to eye ball. |
igbodefender:@Ileke Idi was a strong nut to crack, quite good,i give it to her....may have changed her moniker! |
Though looks more friendly, especially for officers that works at the Airport and other entry points to Nigeria. Then again 'It is not the hood that makes the monk',they must also endeavour to shun rudeness and corruption in its entirety! |
igbodefender:....yes Berem,Onlytruth,Babyosisi,Andrew Uweh all part of the golden generation! |
TonyeBarcanista:In the early days of Nairaland,it was such an interesting place to be,whenever one logs in to politics section, you come out learning new things,it was great, everyone had a great opinion about trending political issues, then one morning we woke up to a generation of idiots, who no longer judge others by the strength of there character but rather by the colour of there skins, languages, religion and ethnicities. |
