When I offer someone a favor, I don't offer because I'm hoping when I need help, you'll automatically be there for me. You may end up disappointed. If you're going with this ideology while helping someone, you'll get discouraged and disappointed because we h if we fail.

Yeah...will some people see her as desperate? Yes. I don't know about cheap though, it's not like she's advertising herself for sex. She may get some guys who will try to exploit her perceived desperation for a relationship but I'm sure she'll get some decent, serious ones too. Lol I assume she's aware of the risk she's taking so best of luck to her, I've seen these kind of things work out well, even with Nigerian guys

I have previously mentioned my friend whose mum was proving stubborn because he was marrying outside his tribe.

He told her that is the woman he wants to marry and she (the mum) doesn't need to attend the wedding. He will send her pictures and come back later for her blessings.

If you keep allowing your parents have a say in your life as an adult, they could even tell you when to sleep with your wife and how many kids you should have.

When my folks are interfering in my affairs, i suddenly become very quiet. I don't argue or go back and forth. I just say what i want and keep quiet whenever they object or bring it up, they just back off.
