Exactly.. When words like these from Linda pop up, we men are forced to go down memory lane because our gender was wired to be the alphas of humans(the sensible ones though), buh people like Chimamanda and Linda are making us appear weak to the world sometimes, forgetting if it weren't men that held the world and agreed to allow them some involvement in the financial areas of life, there is every possibility women would still be relegated to the kitchen year in, year out. So, you see where the problem lies?

I like how you understood it shouldn't be a competition something, rather each gender should try as much as possible to contain each other.

I love the words of encouragement because I believe there are women who hustle for their own money without having to do the odd deeds, my ex one of 'em..

We've been at this for close to a year now, i love her but I'm not sure yet how much she loves me.. She comes to my side often almost everyday, sometimes even stay the weekend. I needed to post this hear to seek advice from experts. I am not financially ready for marriage right now but i love the girl and here is someone offering her on a platter of gold what she's always wanted.

What should i do please? .. Is my relationship gonna die with this info? I'm confused

As much as it pains me to type this, if she loves you deeply and knows fully well that you love her deeply, she would consider the happiness of spending the rest of her life with you, whenever you are ready and I want to believe you are hardworking and desire to take her down the aisle soon. Buh, if she is excogitating on settling down with another man, let her go. I am human and do not know everything but I believe you will be the most selfish and heartless of men if you stop her from going forward. Shey she wan settle down? I read your replies on the other thread of this same op and it is very much the same as this one, pointing to one major aspect, "Money" which in my opinion is senseless from you.

There are guys that have money, I am friends with so many of 'em but seek for that one woman that would care for their family, build a great family with him. These set of guys are so nice that they end up heart broken by that lady he thought loves him only to find out she has been jumping on a dick outside while lavishing his money inside. So, it is not all about money hun.
