Ibadan is the capital city of Oyo State in the South-Western part of Nigeria. The name Ibadan was coined from the Yoruba expression Ẹ̀bá-Ọ̀dàn, meaning ‘the city at the edge of the Savannah’. Ibadan is an ancient city that was the center of administration of the old Western Region in the days of the British colonial rule. Ibadan is home to about 3.5 Million people, thus it is the third most populous city in Nigeria after Lagos and Kano. At the time of Nigeria’s independence in 1960, Ibadan was the largest and most populous city in the country and the second most populous in Africa behind Cairo. Ibadan has a strong combination of tradition, sophistication and is still driven by its ancient heart. These aerial photos of Ibadan show some road networks in the ancient city? Ghana Vs. Nigeria Railway Line Construction: See The Project cost HERE |
Tanzania is set to do a test run of its first high-speed electric trains this month. The trains would be one of Africa’s high-speed trains with projected speeds of up to 160 mph. The train will run on a Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) tracks. The first trials for the train will be conducted later this month; this is according to the Minister for Works, Transport and Communications, Eng. Isack Kamwele. https://e9r8e7v9.stackpathcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/tanzania-electric-train-3.jpg?x66560 The first phase of the Standard Guage Railway track covers a distance of 300km. It runs from Dar es Salaam to Morogoro with 6 stations in between. While the test-run will commence in July, full operations will start in December this year, Kamwele reportedly said. There will be three passenger trains in phase one at the starting point that will be taking daily round trips between the two cities. Each passenger train is capable of making 9 to 12 trips a day or even more. The train will use concrete sleepers which improve durability and give the railway network capacity to carry up to 35 tonnes per axle loads. The rails can survive up to 40 years before any major repairs while the train bridge can survive up to 100 years. https://e9r8e7v9.stackpathcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/tanzania-electric-train-2.jpg?x66560 So far, over 26,000 employment opportunities have been created by the project. More job opportunities will be created in the second phase and subsequent ones and once the stations become fully operational. The rails can survive up to 40 years before any major repairs while the train bridge can survive up to 100 years. The 300-km electric train railway project cost the Tanzanian Government US $1.9bn (Tshs.4.3 trillion). Ghana Vs. Mile 2- Apapa Expressway: These Photos Of This Road Will Break Your Heart (PHOTOS) See the photos HERE |
https://e9r8e7v9.stackpathcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/sanwo.jpg?x66560 Earlier today, the Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu said that he never promised to solve the Apapa gridlock crisis in 60 days. He made the statement while answering questions from State House correspondents in Abuja on Tuesday. The governor while making a U-turn on his earlier promise said instead he would review what has been done on Apapa roads in 60 days. He said “Interestingly, some media houses have actually been counting down on me. They said that I mentioned during the campaign train that I was going to clear it in 60 days. I have mentioned it before, what I said was that in 60 days we would review what was done but that does not take the fact that even if people give you dateline, it’s because they want you to do well and they want you to be able to be accountable for those datelines.” He commended President Muhammadu Buhari for setting up a task force to address the Apapa issue but said a permanent solution would only be reached when the port has been decongested. It is on record that Sanwo-Olu, who was still governor-elect on May 18, 2019, had during an interactive session with his classmates at the Executive Master of Business Administration class, University of Lagos, 1998/2000 set, said that he would end the protracted gridlock in Apapa area of the state within the first 60 days of his administration. He said not minding the politics involved, he would rid the area of all the trailers whose operations have been responsible for the intractable gridlock. https://e9r8e7v9.stackpathcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/Mile-2-Apapa-Road-44.jpg?x66560 Source: https://autojosh.com/i-never-promised-to-fix-apapa-gridlock-in-60-days-sanwo-olu/ Lalasticlala Mynd44 Ishilove Marpol Semid4lyfe Obinoscopy Seun

https://e9r8e7v9.stackpathcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/osita-fuel-station-2.jpg?x66560 Former Minister of Aviation, Osita Chidoka, during the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan, recently lamented about the failures of the system. He did so in a Twitter post after he spotted a fuel station in Abuja that now relies on solar panel for electricity. Apparently, the consumption of petroleum products for their power-generation need had become a cause for bother. In his social media lamentation, Chidoka went thus: “I stopped to buy fuel at Oando station at Jabi, Abuja and noticed solar panels on the roof. The Attendant in response to my inquiry said they are off grid and no generator, everything in the station is powered by solar! Fuel seller on solar. Is Nigeria ready for post oil world?” https://e9r8e7v9.stackpathcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/osita-fuel-station-7.jpg?x66560 https://e9r8e7v9.stackpathcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/osita-fuel-station-6.jpg?x66560 https://e9r8e7v9.stackpathcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/osita-fuel-station-4.jpg?x66560 Source: https://autojosh.com/ex-aviation-minister-laments-how-fuel-station-now-depend-on-solar-panels-for-electricity/

But is it legal to load a vehicle to that extent? Over and above the practical considerations, there are legal obligations for motorists. Overloading vehicles are considered illegal, that is if they carry loads that are above their legally permitted limit. Violation attracts, well, not so severe penalties. On federal roads, overloading a vehicle can attract a penalty of N5,000. While on roads in Lagos state, it attracts a fine of N2000. https://e9r8e7v9.stackpathcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/Berger-side-walk-5.jpg?x66560 This is a section of the popular reconstructed Ojodu-Berger bus-stop, Lagos. It was reconstructed by the immediate past administration as led by Akinwumni Ambode. The section features a sidewalk (walkway) that is fenced-in using wire-mesh. It effectively restricts movements away from the main road, this way, the free-flow of vehicular traffic is not impeded in that busy area. But most importantly, it makes the road quite coordinated and with the outlook of a modern city. This particular stretch of the sidewalk is about 300meters. Similarly paved and fenced sidewalks can also be found along the Lekki-Epe expressway axis of the state. Won’t it be nice to have this all over Lagos state? https://e9r8e7v9.stackpathcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/Berger-side-walk-1.jpg?x66560 https://e9r8e7v9.stackpathcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/Berger-side-walk-2.jpg?x66560 https://e9r8e7v9.stackpathcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/Berger-side-walk-3.jpg?x66560 https://e9r8e7v9.stackpathcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/Berger-side-walk-7.jpg?x66560 https://e9r8e7v9.stackpathcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/Berger-side-walk-9.jpg?x66560 Source: https://autojosh.com/wont-it-be-nice-to-have-this-type-of-sidewalk-all-over-lagos-photos/ Lalasticlala Mynd44 Ishilove Marpol Semid4lyfe Obinoscopy Seun

https://e9r8e7v9.stackpathcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/customs-boss-Ali-Hammed.jpg?x66560 In 2017, the Federal Government of Nigeria placed a ban on importation of vehicles through land border. As things are at the moment, the Federal Government may relax on the ban. The restriction on the importation of vehicles followed that of rice, whose imports through the land borders had been banned since April 2016. But the government may reconsider its decision after the successful implementation of a new initiative by the Nigeria Customs Service and the Customs Service of the Republic of Benin to automate and network all electronic information about incoming cargoes through the border. The Comptroller General, NCS, Col Hameed Ali (retd.), who was represented by the Assistant Comptroller, Information and Communication Technology, Benjamin Aber, at a stakeholders’ meeting on the new initiative, expressed confidence that with a successful implementation of the bilateral electronic connectivity programme between Nigeria and Republic of Benin, the Federal Government might lift the ban on items coming through the land border. Ali said the decision of the government to shut down importation of vehicles through the border was because the government did not have a reliable system that would assist in controlling importation. With declarations made for imports transiting from either of the countries electronically shared, the process of import and export would be done in a transparent manner and the government seeing such transparency would be convinced to relax its stance on land border importation. He said “Vehicles were formerly being imported through the Seme border, but suddenly it was banned because the pressure of enforcement of anti-smuggling for vehicles and claiming of lives and revenue were becoming too alarming, so the government had to restrict the importation through Nigerian ports. “When vehicles came through the land border, we did not have a record of how the imported cars came here and fake documentation became a common phenomenon. The ban was just a control measure against the practice.” He added, “By the time we successfully deploy this reliable, transparent and predictable programme that would assist government agencies, not only Customs, to control and regulate the importation of vehicles, the government may decide to relax such restrictions.” Ali said the establishment of the automated platform and bilateral connectivity meant that any truck that left the Republic of Benin, the information would already be remotely sent in English to Nigeria Customs Service system. He also gave the assurance that illegal checkpoints mounted by Customs officers and other security agencies along the border corridors would disappear automatically. “The roads also have to be fixed, because we cannot automate clearing of goods between the Customs and at the end, the stakeholders would be complaining,” he pointed out. He said the new platform would be deployed by June 20. Source: https://autojosh.com/ban-land-border-vehicle-lifted-fg-customs-boss/ |
https://e9r8e7v9.stackpathcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/camry-7-2012.jpg?x66560 Toyota Camry is one of the most frequently seen cars on Nigerian roads. The car is literally everywhere and it is one of the most purchased Toyota model in Nigeria. The production of Toyota Camry didn’t start few years ago; its existence can be traced all the way back to 1983. Ever since then up till now, the Toyota Manufacturing Company has been doing a great job to give the world a good car wearing the Camry cloak. Let’s take a walk down the history lane and see how Toyota Camry changed throughout its 36 years of excellent existence. 1. 1983–1986: First Generation (V10): The first generation of Toyota Camry was launched in 1983. This model came as a replacement for the Corona. Toyota uses a new name, Camry—derived from the Japanese word kanmuri, meaning “crown”—to differentiate this new front-wheel-drive four-door sedan from the rear-wheel-drive model it replaces. https://e9r8e7v9.stackpathcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/camry-1-1983-2.jpg?x66560 2. 1987–1991: Second Generation (V20): Just four years after the first Camry was introduced came the second generation. Toyota launched the second-generation Toyota Camry in 1987. The second generation Camry had more interior space and more variety in the lineup. https://e9r8e7v9.stackpathcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/camry-2-1987.jpg?x66560 3. 1991–1996: Third Generation (XV10): The third-generation Camry was launched in 1992. The Camry came with lots more interior space to go along with its more stylish, curved body lines. The sedan and wagon variants had more powerful engines: a 2.2-liter four-cylinder and a 3.0-liter V-6 respectively. Nigerians gave it the name Orobo. https://e9r8e7v9.stackpathcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/camry-3-1991.jpg?x66560 4. 1997–2001: Fourth Generation (XV20): This fourth generation Camry is slightly lighter and less expensive than its predecessor. The Camry came with two engine versions: a 2.2-liter inline-four and a 3.0-liter V-6, which produces 133 and 194 horsepower respectively. This particular generation skyrocketed to the best-selling car around the world. Nigerians gave it the name Tiny Light/Pencil/I-don-get-job. https://e9r8e7v9.stackpathcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/post-camry-tiny-light.jpg?x66560 5. 2002–2006: Fifth Generation (XV30): The fifth-generation model has a longer wheelbase and is taller than before, with a raised seating position for the driver and front passenger and more legroom for those sitting in the back seats. In fact, it was larger than the previous versions of Camry. The Camry came with two engine versions: a 157-hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder and a 3.0-liter V6 engine. Nigerians gave it the name Big Daddy/Big-for-nothing. https://e9r8e7v9.stackpathcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/Camry-5-2002.jpg?x66560 6. 2007–2011: Sixth Generation (XV40): The sixth-generation Camry as expected is bigger, more powerful, and better equipped than the previous generations. The base model is powered by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder capable of producing 158-hp. The 3.5-liter engine variant with a whopping 268 horsepower endowed the Camry with serious speed. It can sprint from zero to 60 mph in 5.8 seconds. Nigerians gave it the name Muscle/Spider. https://e9r8e7v9.stackpathcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/2007-toyota-camry.jpg?x66560 7. 2012–2017: Seventh Generation (XV50): The seventh-generation Camry is the first not to offer a manual transmission; the entire lineup comes standard with an automatic transmission. The interior is a touch more spacious and is one of the first Toyotas to offer the brand’s new Entune infotainment system with smartphone connectivity functions. https://e9r8e7v9.stackpathcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/camry-7-2012.jpg?x66560 8. 2018–Present: Eighth Generation (XV70): The eight-generation Camry has sharper driving dynamics, stronger four-cylinder, V6 engine, and hybrid powertrains. https://e9r8e7v9.stackpathcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/tc.jpg?x66560 We would love to hear from you. https://e9r8e7v9.stackpathcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/Spare-Tire-Replacement-600x400.jpg?x66560 Every part of your car is important, but your tyres are one of the most vital parts. Your tyres are supposed to be in good condition at all times. As the day passes by, tyre manufacturers think out ways to improve fuel economy, handling performance, safety, etc, we the way things are going now, you’ll realize that the technological developments in the tyre world are making a big difference. Run flat tyres are one of these major developments in the tyre world. Your tyres are the only grip and contact between your vehicle and the road and at such, much care should be given to them. If there are other grips and contact, kindly take your car to a professional mechanic. Anything that make your tyres deviate from giving your car safe grip to the ground should be avoided. Below are the 10 typical causes of tyre wear 1. Under-inflation: This will cause the tyre to wear on the outer edges of the tread, leaving the central tread area far less worn. The tyre inner-liner can also degrade. 2. Over-inflation: This will result in the central tread area being forced into contact with the road causing rapid or crown wear. 3. Wheel misalignment: This will cause the edge of the tread to be “feathered” and wear progressively from one side. 4. Illegal Wear: This tyre has been used well after reaching the legal minimum pattern depth of 1.6mm across the central ¾ of the tread, going around the complete circumference of the tyre. 5. End of Life: The tyre has reached the legal minimum pattern depth of 1.6mm 6. Emergency Braking: An emergency braking manoeuvre can cause the tyre to rapidly wear through the complete casing, causing the tyre to deflate. 7. Cuts: Sharp objects can cause considerable damage rendering a tyre unserviceable. 8. Impact and Sidewall damage: A bulge or “egg” may indicate localised casing damage impact damage. Sidewall or shoulder damage should never be repaired. 9. Tyre Age: This is commonly identified by small cracks (crazing) appearing in the sidewall. Tread depth can also be used as a suitable indication of when tyres should be replaced as tyre treads generally wear out before the ageing effect becomes a problem. Premature tyre ageing can affect safety and increase the risk of failure. 10. Driving habits: Every vehicle has parts that need to be replaced constantly; your tyres are among these parts. Driving habit is largely responsible for the state of your tyres. A careful driver is likely to enjoy tyres for a longer life span than a careless driver. Proper tyre care can substantially prolong their average life. A driver that does the right things like alignment and so on has better chances. Did we miss anything? https://e9r8e7v9.stackpathcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/push-start-button-toyota-2.jpg?x66560 Vehicle technology keeps advancing each day that passes. These techs make driving safer, more fun and even simpler. The technology in the automobile world has advanced so much in the last few years that some vehicles don’t even require a key in the ignition to start. The Toyota guys have been making use of this push button start technology in their cars for a while now. You may be wondering the purpose of this Push Start Button in cars. One of the purposes is convenience, and the other is for security reasons. Because the key fob is required to be around the vehicle in order to work, it is harder for potential car thieves to drive away in your vehicle. How to use Toyota Push Button Start In order to use Toyota Push Button Start, you must have your Smart Key fob in the vehicle. All you need to do is press your foot on the brake and push the ignition button. Then, when you reach your destination, put your Toyota vehicle in park and press the button again to go off. In a situation when you try to start your Toyota car with the push button start and it is not responding, it could mean that something is wrong somewhere. When you come across instances where the Start button isn’t working, it could be because of any of these four reasons. 4 Reasons why your Toyota isn’t starting with the Start button 1. You are not pressing firmly on the brake pedal: Make sure your foot is firmly pressed on the brake pedal before pressing the Start button. If not, your car is likely not to start. https://e9r8e7v9.stackpathcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/Step-On-The-Car-Pedals.jpg?x66560 2. Your Smart Key battery is weak or dead: Try holding your Smart Key next to the Start button while pressing. If this doesn’t work, you may need to change the Smart Key battery. You can find instructions for this in your Owner’s Manual. https://e9r8e7v9.stackpathcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/push-start-button-toyota-3.jpg?x66560 3. The vehicle’s engine battery is weak: If this is the case, you will need to replace your vehicle’s bad battery. A new battery may do the magic. https://e9r8e7v9.stackpathcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/tmp_6522-images9-600x400-1433861973.jpg?x66560 4. The Smart Key deactivation switch was accidentally pressed: Your Toyota vehicle may be equipped with a deactivation switch, which is located at the bottom of the instrument panel on the dashboard right below the steering wheel. https://e9r8e7v9.stackpathcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/push-start-button-toyota.jpg?x66560 Have you ever been in a situation where your Toyota Push Start Button wasn’t working? From Calabar to Lagos, Port Harcourt to Ile-Ife, Enugu to Oyo town, the first incident of rainfall was recorded in January. Many people commented on this early occurrence of rainfall as unusual. In fact, in times past, February/March is usually the beginning of the rainy season in this part of the world. The phrase that readily comes to mind in explaining this shift is climate change. https://autojosh.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/climatechange-infographic1.jpg By now we all have an idea of how climate change is an issue of our time – from shifting weather patterns that threaten food production, to rising sea levels that increase the risk of catastrophic flooding, to heat waves that can create health challenges – the impacts of climate change are global in scope and unprecedented in scale. https://autojosh.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/IMG_20190513_141303.jpg It is very rare for a pilot to successfully land a plane without front wheels. The story of a pilot in Myanmar has been flying around and he’s being applauded and hailed as a hero for landing a plane without front wheels. He landed the plane on Sunday with just the rear wheels after the passenger plane’s landing gear failed. Myanmar Airlines Flight 103 was traveling to Mandalay from Yangon when the pilot became aware of the problem. https://autojosh.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/IMG_20190513_141247.jpg In a statement, the airline said pilot Captain Myat Moe Aung “followed emergency procedures and did the fuel burn out to reduce the landing weight,” before bringing the jet down onto its rear wheels, lowering the nose carefully onto the runway on which it skidded for about 25 seconds before stopping. The airline also confirmed there were no casualties. Following the incident, emergency vehicles surrounded the plane as it rested on its nose on the tarmac. “The pilot did a great job,” Win Khant, Myanmar’s transport minister, told Reuters. https://autojosh.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/P90261371_lowRes_rolls-royce-sweptail.jpg When you talk about automotive luxury, Rolls Royce is in a class of it’s own. Their works always stand out wherever you find them. Their presence can’t just be overstated. The luxury brand didn’t start five or six decades ago; they have been here for over a century. On 4 May 1904, Charles Rolls and Henry Royce met for the first time at The Midland Hotel, Manchester; an encounter that would change the course of automotive history. Exactly 115 years later, the marque they agreed to form that day continues to set global standards for innovation and excellence, and uphold their legacy as the originators of ‘the best car in the world’. Rolls and Royce would doubtless be astonished at the cars produced under their names in 2019. The century (and more) that has elapsed since their first 10hp machine made its debut at the Paris Salon has seen materials, technology and manufacturing methods utterly transformed. https://autojosh.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/568244-600x400.jpg Yet in several key areas, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars retains unbroken links to those pioneering days; and in its approach, instincts and values, it would be immediately – and pleasingly – recognisable to its founding fathers. Henry Royce began his automotive career by building an improved version of the 10hp two-cylinder French Decauville – the first car he bought when his eponymous electrical company became successful. https://autojosh.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/IMG_20190321_083218_807-600x337.jpg When Rolls saw and drove Royce’s machine, he knew he had found a British car that could outshine the continental competition and agreed to sell all the cars Royce could build. In its first two years, Rolls-Royce produced a mere 10 cars: in 2018, it delivered 4,107 – the highest annual total in its history – to customers in over 50 countries. Rolls-Royce once again produced a car capable of conquering the most hostile environments on Earth. The Cullinan super-luxury SUV caused an international sensation on its launch in 2018, and set the new global standard in luxury off-road motoring. Cullinan was engineered from scratch to enable customers to go anywhere, see anything and do everything they desire with total confidence, while cocooned in the comfort and splendour embodied in the Rolls-Royce name. https://autojosh.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/IMG_20190105_190741_563-600x354.jpg To prove its all-terrain credentials, the car completed a 12,000-mile odyssey through some of the world’s most challenging terrain, in partnership with National Geographic. As well as the Scottish Highlands, the Austrian Alps and the American West, Cullinan’s itinerary included the arid wastes of the Middle East, where it effortlessly confirmed Lawrence’s assertion that ‘a Rolls in the desert is above rubies.’ https://autojosh.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/IMG_20190127_100337_808-600x400.jpg “We are deeply conscious of our heritage: it is a tremendous privilege to be continuing and building on work that began 115 years ago,” says Torsten Müller-Ötvös, Chief Executive, Rolls‑Royce Motor Cars. “But we also understand that our founders were visionaries, always looking to do things in new and different ways. It’s that spirit of excellence and innovation that Rolls-Royce Motor Cars embodies and celebrates today.” Source: https://autojosh.com/rolls-royce-115-years-anniversary/ |
https://autojosh.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/Trucks-on-Highways-15.jpg Safe-to-load was instituted to curb road crashes and tanker fire outbreaks, halt loss of lives, economic waste and its negative impacts on the environment. If this checklist is taken seriously in Nigeria, road accidents would be drastically reduced most especially when it comes to trucks and commercial vehicles used by mass transits. In recent times, there have been several tanker fire-outbreaks in the country that claimed lives and properties. Something have to be done about it or we keep counting our loss on daily basis. This ‘Safe To Load’ checklist involves depot owners, managers, safety officers and the drivers in the chain of petroleum product distribution and transportation in the country. Strict adherence to it will go a long way in curbing the deadly accidents that happen on our Nigerian roads. With the alarming rates of fire outbreaks reoccurring in the country, FRSC officers should be posted to depots to assist the owners and their managers adhere to this regulations. According to FRSC, trucking requires the use of road worthy vehicles, safe and secured loading as crashes involving articulated vehicles on Nigerian roads are mostly fatal. Truck operations are being regulated among others, through this safe to load program. The truck checklist issued to depots by FRSC, is a comprehensive safety template that if religiously followed by the operators, will save us from a lot of road crashes and fire incidents. The programme seeks to ensure that the only vehicles that are in good condition, driven by qualified and competent drivers are allowed to be involved in the transportation of dry and wet cargoes on Nigerian roads. Basic Safe to Load Vehicle Checklist Checks are conducted before loading to ensure that the following meet the set standards. 1. Brake: Brake fluids, brake pedals and brake effectiveness. 2. Light: Signal lights, headlamps, brake lights, revolving lights, rear lights, reverse lights, dashboard lights and interior lights. 3. Oil: Oil levels, oil colours, oil viscosities and oil leakages. 4. Water, windshields, wipers: Water levels, windshield cracks and wiper functionality. 5. Mirror: Broken or damaged side mirrors 6. Fan belts: Cracks, looseness, and cuts 7. Air pressures, alternators, and alternator belts: Air pressure levels, alternator functionalities, alternator belts for looseness and cuts. 8. Coolant, cabin: Excessive low levels and drops in textures, excessive temperature rise, any cracks notices in the cabin compartment 9. Tyres: Feel tyres for too low or high pressure, cuts, uneven wears, wheel bolts and nuts looseness. If this checklist is taken seriously, you’ll see that majority of the trucks on our Nigerian roads will be disqualified, hence, not suitable to be loaded. We plead with the concerned agencies so the fire incidents and accidents on roads will be reduced to the barest minimum. https://autojosh.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/uber-driver-executive-goldman-sach.jpg Meet This Senior Executive Of A Multi-Billion Company Who Drives Uber Just To Learn English And Meet People. A Twitter user whose username is XolisaDyeshana revealed how he got confused after he discovered the Uber driver who attended to him is a senior executive at Goldman Sachs. He wrote; So I call an Uber and the guy drives a really fancy car and I’m confused. Turns out, he’s a senior exec at Goldman Sachs and he’s German (moved to New Orleans 5 years ago). So why Uber? “It’s the best way for me to learn English. And I meet wonderful people while doing it” https://autojosh.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/uber-goldman-sach-executive.png The Goldman Sachs Group is an American multinational investment bank and financial services company headquartered in New York City. It offers services in investment management, securities, asset management, prime brokerage, and securities underwriting. Goldman Sachs has a net worth of $64 billion. The salary and bonuses a senior executive in such a multibillion company should be huge you know. This man isn’t an Uber driver because of the money; he just wants to learn English language and meet up with people. From this side of the world, most people will say he’s living below his standard because he’s an Uber driver. Certainly not; he has a different perspective of life. The ‘Fast and Furious‘ franchise with its series of action films have got the attention of people; especially a good number of car enthusiasts. The franchise started way back to 2001. The stunts pulled in Fast and Furious films make the whole thing more interesting. Crazy driving comes with a price; as the stunts got crazier, more cars were rendered unusable. Some were ran over; got crushed; thrown down from plane and some got blown up. ‘Furious 7‘ (2015) recorded a number around 230 cars; it completely destroyed a $3.4 million Lykan HyperSport, one of the most expensive cars in the world.
