Nipsey Hussle was laid to rest today and thousands of people came out to pay their last respect to the slain star.

The Silver Cadillac hearse carrying the remains of the American rapper Nipsey Hussle who was gunned down days ago was in procession which numerous cars and bikes accompanied.

According to the information we were able to gather, there were up to fifty Rolls Royce cars in the procession of which a Rolls Royce Cullinan took the lead followed by a Rolls Royce Phantom. Rolls Royce Wraith, Ghost, Phantom Coupe, Dawn also made it to the procession.

The procession ended just over two miles away from the store at the Angelus Funeral Home

Hussle was buried in Forrest Lawn Memorial Park Hollywood Hill on Thursday and fans are permitted to send flowers to his grave, The Blast reports.

Chelsea midfielder Danny Drinkwater has been charged with drink-driving and been given a date for a court appearance.

The England international was arrested after allegedly crashing into another vehicle after leaving a party early on Monday morning.

The crash allegedly left debris scattered all over the roadway while also flattening a fence.

Drinkwater was said to have been attending a charity event in an upmarket bar called Victors prior to the collision, which it is claimed left the 29-year-old and two others in need of treatment for minor injuries.

Chelsea admitted to being aware of the situation as they waited on updates. “We are aware of reports but we will want to establish all of the facts before commenting.”

It has now been confirmed that Drinkwater has been charged.

A statement from Cheshire Police on Tuesday read: “A 29-year-old from Nether Alderley has been charged with drink driving following an incident in Cheshire.

“Danny Drinkwater, of Bollington Lane, was arrested shortly after 12.30am on Monday 8 April following a one-vehicle collision on Ashley Road in Mere.

“He has been released on unconditional bail and is set to appear at Stockport Magistrates’ Court on Monday 13 May.”

OAP Sensei Uche did something worthy of praise today. He stopped a danfo from plunging into the lagoon with his Nissan Murano SUV car.

Earlier today, we wrote a post on how a danfo bus filled with passengers almost fell off the Third Mainland Bridge. Those in the bus were all lucky because that bus was heading to it’s final destination – the lagoon.

A while after the accident happened, OAP Sensei Uche took to his Instagram to narrate how he helped used his car to stop the danfo bus from plunging into the lagoon. He alleged that the brakes of the danfo bus failed and was heading into the lagoon but he used his car to stop what would have been a great loss.

This happened earlier today.

A reckless danfo driver almost drove his vehicle right across the railings on the Third-Mainland Bridge.

Thanks to the barrier, the danfo was stopped just at the edge of the bridge, leaving the vehicle suspended on the railings.

The passengers in the vehicle had to make their exit through the rear door, as the designated exit door -due to the danfo's position -  led into the Lagoon.

Due to the ongoing road construction of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport Nigeria, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) released a statement to passengers advising them on the best ways to handle the situation at hand so that they can meet up.


Below is the official statement released by FAAN;

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria hereby advise passengers to leave their homes early, owing to the ongoing reconstruction of the road leading the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.

This advise has become necessary due to the traffic gridlock experienced by road users along this axis.
The Authority appeal to passengers that leaving their homes early will ensure they get to the airport in good time and go through all check in formalities with ease.

We apologise for the inconveniences being encountered by passengers due to the situation, the Authority has already mobilized security agencies to ensure that the situation is effectively managed.

A container-laden truck crashed into 5 other cars on the road today at Ojuelegba area of Lagos state. The crash was as a result of brake failure of the truck.

Some of the affected vehicles are Toyota Hiace bus, Toyota Highlander, Toyota Camry and Toyota Corolla.

Boeing issued the following statement regarding the release of the preliminary investigation report of Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 by the Ethiopian Accident Investigation Bureau (AIB).

“I’d like to reiterate our deepest sympathies are with the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives in the accident,” said Boeing Commercial Airplanes President and CEO Kevin McAllister. “We thank Ethiopia’s Accident Investigation Bureau for its hard work and continuing efforts. Understanding the circumstances that contributed to this accident is critical to ensuring safe flight. We will carefully review the AIB’s preliminary report, and will take any and all additional steps necessary to enhance the safety of our aircraft.”

Safety is a core value for everyone at Boeing and the safety of our airplanes, our customers’ passengers and crews is always our top priority. Boeing’s technical experts continue to assist in this investigation and company-wide teams are working to address lessons from the Lion Air Flight 610 accident in October.

The preliminary report contains flight data recorder information indicating the airplane had an erroneous angle of attack sensor input that activated the Maneuvering Characteristics Augmentation System (MCAS) function during the flight, as it had during the Lion Air 610 flight.

To ensure unintended MCAS activation will not occur again, Boeing has developed and is planning to release a software update to MCAS and an associated comprehensive pilot training and supplementary education program for the 737 MAX.

As previously announced, the update adds additional layers of protection and will prevent erroneous data from causing MCAS activation. Flight crews will always have the ability to override MCAS and manually control the airplane.

Boeing continues to work with the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration and other regulatory agencies worldwide on the development and certification of the software update and training program.

Boeing also is continuing to work closely with the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) as technical advisors in support of the AIB investigation. As a party providing technical assistance under the direction of investigating authorities, Boeing is prevented by international protocol and NTSB regulations from disclosing any information relating to the investigation. In accordance with international protocol, information about the investigation is provided only by investigating authorities in charge.

Kalenga Kamwendo is the youngest commercial pilot in Zambia and he has clocked over 1000 hours of flying with Zambia's leading scheduled airline - Proflight Zambia.

He became Zambia's youngest commercial pilot at the tender age of twenty one (21).

Born in Kitwe in Zambia’s Copperbelt, Kamwendo took an avid interest in the aviation industry whilst in Grade 10 or 11 at school. A strong student in English, Maths and Physics, he enrolled for Forty Three Air School in South Africa’s Eastern Cape after graduating from secondary school in 2011.

He has also been honoured with a presidential award.

Recalling his first day as a commercial pilot, Kamwendo says:

“I was nervous; I didn’t even have the full uniform. I was flying to Kasama and had to be up at 4am”. But that’s all in the past now. He goes on:

“There are tons of thrills, from something as simple as seeing a passenger happy, to the thrill of flying."

Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) is the regulatory body for aviation in Nigeria. It became autonomous with the passing into law of the Civil Aviation Act 2006 by the National Assembly and assent of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The Act not only empowers the Authority to regulate Aviation Safety without political interference, but also to carry out oversight functions of Airports, Airspace, Meteorological Services, etc as well as economic regulations of the industry.

It has its corporate office on the grounds of Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, FCT Nigeria and headquarters in Aviation House on the grounds of Murtala Muhammed Airport in Ikeja, Lagos State.

One of the responsibilities of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority is to register the births and deaths that occur in an aircraft within the Nigerian aerospace. By the time you’re done reading this article, you will discover all other responsibilities they have.


The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority has the following responsibilities

1. The registration of any aircraft in Nigeria and issuance to the owner a certificate of registration.

2. The establishment and maintenance of a system or register for recording the title to or any interest in any aircraft registered in Nigeria.

3. The prohibition of any Nigerian or foreign registered aircraft from operating within the Nigerian airspace, unless a certificate of airworthiness is issued to the aircraft.

4. The inspection and regulation of aerodromes, inspection of aircraft factories and for the prohibition or regulation of the use of aerodromes which are not licensed in pursuance of the regulations.

5. The prohibition of any person from engaging in air navigation in any capacity whatsoever unless the Authority determines that such a person satisfies the requirements of this Act and the regulations.

6. Ensuring the efficiency and regularity of air navigation and the safety of aircraft, persons and property carried in aircraft and for preventing aircraft from endangering persons and property.

7. The issue, validation, renewal, extension or variation of any certificate, license or other document required by the regulations (including the examinations tests to be undergone) and custody, and production, cancellation, suspension, endorsement and surrender of any such document.

8. The registration of births and deaths occurring in aircraft and of particulars of persons missing from aircraft

9. The collation and maintenance of a data bank of aviation and aircraft accidents, incidents, and occurrences and promote accident prevention programmes.

10. The prohibition of aircrafts from flying over areas in Nigeria not recommended by the authority.

This car was vandalized by car thieves today at Egbeda, Lagos. The surprising thing is that the theft was carried out in broad daylight and nobody caught them in the act. The security man around that vicinity was fast asleep and didn’t notice a thing.

As you can see in the video, they made away with the brain box, taillights, side mirrors, stereo, door control units etc.

I acknowledge the genuine outrage from citizens and Civil Society groups regarding the activities of SARS. As you’re aware, the Suspects in the Kolade Johnson killing are in custody. When the orderly room trial is concluded, indicted officers will be prosecuted in court.

While important steps have been taken by the Police leadership to restructure and reform SARS, in line with presidential directives, more needs to be done. I assure this will be done. We will continue to work to ensure that we have a Police Force that adheres to the rule of law.

It is no longer news that five Nigerians have been arrested for allegedly robbing a Bureau de Change in Sharjah of Dh2.3 million (N226.2million).

According to reports,  the men barged into the BDC office and smashed the glass barrier between the customers and the staff, stole the money in multiple currencies and fled.

The University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Mass Communication started comedy while in secondary school at Nigerian Navy Secondary School Abeokuta.

In July 2018, Comedian Ajebo made news when he wept uncontrollably at his white wedding with his wife, Uche.

Over the weekend, in celebration of Mother’s Day, Ajebo presented a car gift of a Lexus RS SUV to his wife.

Ajebo announced the car gift in an Instagram post.

He captioned the post thus:

On social media, he has achieved fame with the name Ray Hushpuppi - or simply “Hushpuppi”.

Hushpuppi is a Dubai/Malaysia-based Nigerian Instagram sensation.

He has become a social media celebrity due to his ostentatious and luxurious lifestyle that he showcases online.

His pastime includes flaunting online expensive designers clothing, wristwatches, shoes, and of course – expensive cars.

He is also one individual that is not shy of controversies. He has been at the center of numerous online controversies.

Over time, Hushpuppi has had a number of expensive cars that he has associated with his lavish lifestyle.

To project his deluxe lifestyle, he frequently publishes photos and videos of himself posing with exquisite and expensive cars that most people can only dream of.

His captions of these photos are typically cryptic. Thus, it is hard to determine if the cars are actually his.

However, last Valentine; he published an Instagram photo of himself with a Bentley Bentayga. His caption of the post was definite about the ownership of the car.

In the post, he captioned it thus:

“Bought myself a new Bentley Bentayga for Valentines. The best way to celebrate the season of love”.

Yesterday, in Lagos,  an articulated truck went up in flames

The incident occurred at the Ojota Bridge inward toll gates, along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.

The fire incident saw the head of the truck consumed by fire.

It took the spirited effort of the indefatigable men of fire unit of the LASEMA Rescue Unit (LRU) to rescue the vehicle.

Officials of the LASTMA were also available to help, and to ensure that traffic was not impeded.
