This thing is becoming serious. We've found ourselves between devil and deep blue sea. We can't stay at home for long and we can't come out. I guess at last Karl Marx theory of natural selection will come into play "Survival of the fittest" And for those mocking Kano people about their Covid related deaths, just know that if Kano didn't get it right, we're are all in danger in this country because the virus will keep on spreading. This is the time we suppose to keep our difference at bay and come together to fight a common enemy. Whether you're Hausa, Yoruba or Igbo we're all in it together. |
I've never seen stubborn human beings like Nigerians. They've been told several times to stay at home but they'll never listen. Government should fined a way to enforce stricter lockdown measures because some people are still using illegal bush route for inter state travels. I suggest government should use prison term for defaulters. |
kaluxy007:Change your mindset about tribalism. it'll do you a lot of good. |
kaluxy007:People like you wished the north would've had the highest rate of infection at present but God disappointed you. Useless tribalistic idiot and decedent of a pig tribal clan. |

This so called total lockdown isn't working. Please government should allow people to go back to their normal business because even Italy and Spain that were battered by the virus have started opening businesses. The reason both federal and state government don't care about the lockdown is, they know our GDP and internal generated revenue is nothing significant. Unlike the European and American economy. |
maynation:From your writeup I can swear you don't even own a car spanner. It's people like you that stands on the road admiring peoples car and estimating its price. Someone that owns a car will not make such comment. |

Uyi168:If you've problem that Muhammad married wives then what'd you say about Solomon. Your second question, the twelve grown men were Jesus disciples that followed him for evangelism. |
MariahCarrey:Allah is an Arabic word meaning God. Even Christian Arabs uses the word Allah when referring to God. All languages have ways the refer to Allah. Please be mindful on how you discredit the name of God just because of Nairaland likes. |
justnock:Since you you're gay why waste your so called girlfriend's time. |

There's something about power I do not understand. When those politician are seeking for political power, the seems to be visionary and know exactly the problems of this country. But as soon as they're elected, they'll be clueless and making irrational policies. And soon as they're voted out power or their time elapsed, their reasoning will be back to default settings. I've observed this scenario with people like Shehu Sani, Ben Murray-Bruce and even Obasanjo. Few years down the line this Jigawa state Gov. Alh. Badaru will certainly reflect back and realise how stupid such misplaced priorities in the name of poverty alleviation looks. He has all the resources to boost Crop production which Jigawa state is known for, but instead he chooses to share goats that might be stolen, die or even eaten by the beneficiaries. |
Mixedfraction:He's just seeking for attention and I wonder what he'd gain. |
DAntivirus:Why don't you give the money out to those old poor people around instead of giving able bodied men and women here on nairaland. Now you've succeeded in making this thread a mess cos all those online beggars will be quoting you. |
Cantonese:Amen. Merry Christmas. |
Old age. Whenever I look at pictures of old people in their prime and now looking weak and friable makes me pounder much about life. If only we realise how fast this so called old age is approaching we won't be making some of the wrong choices we are making today or even invest time on inconsequential things like pre marital sex, cheating, making fast and illegitimate money etc. Because few years down the line, those things won't even matter to you. And reflecting back on the energy you invested pursuing those things will certainly make you realise it doesn't worth the stress.

She look much better now. I really admire how she kept her life far from nollywood. They'd have messed her up and make her look so ordinary. |
If it's a proceeds of corruption, no problem. |
