crownprince2017: U want dey compare someone trading with 5m and someone with 500m.
Its obvious that majority with 500m will not take anyhow risk In the name of doubling the fund in short period of time but the other guy will mostly do because the cost of that conviction not coming to pass is different n more punitive to the guy with 500m.
Na why u see agba in fixed income jeje, high blood pressure is real. Let Agba take risk with 20-30%, the rest can be in more stable assets. |

nosa2: I wish you guys well. This is pure speculation and that's fine. Speculators make a lot of money but there is also a good chance they will lose their shirt. If they make money, and lose their shirt, they'll just buy new shirt na, as long as the money made is substantial. I'm happy making N50m while losing my 50k shirt |

ojesymsym: This looks like a good one...Kind of you to share.
@awesomeJ, is this a manual version of your strategy? You pay very close attention to ASI which suggest that your may be a lot more different from this. Even me, I don't understand my own strategy. For one thing, it changes, for instance, a larger portfolio size now means i can wait out a losing position more easily than i could 2-3 years ago. For another, it's spiritual However I do agree that most of my trades usually happen in the first 30 minutes, sometimes i trade as much as 30% in those first 30 minutes. Some other days start slow for me, and only pick up further into the session. |

Now that 1340 has been broken, 1300 is looking more and more susceptible. |

Despite 5% uptick in BUAFOODS, market is still down for the session. This is the sort of moderation we spoke about.
40K deals already done in the first hour though. Good momentum. |

ppogba: Are you ever expecting any good thing from Nairametrics? They are one of the Apostles of N2000/$ by December 2025 and have never been comfortable when their prediction did not come to pass. I do not want to sound somehow but take time watching them going forward. I did not even bother to read the yeye article when I saw it on their website.
Dangers of an Naira appreciation indeed. Me neither, I never bothered reading it, I found it annoying. The danger is only to them who selfishly placed a wrong bet. I mean if they've loaded USD at 1500 or higher and 1200 is coming, then they're indeed in a dangerous situation, especially if you consider the fact that the naira they used for the hoarding could have made another 50-100% if it had been rightly deployed. |

zendi: The taxman is not an assassin.
The tax law is a legislation of the National Assembly. If implemented, the taxman will nab everybody unless you boycott the entire financial system.
So I'm not wishing him and his heirs bad if that's what it sounds like to you.
Tax paying is even a Biblical injunction. Jesus said we shouldl give to Caezer (Govt) his due. But the Govt owes to God and man the duty to use tax funds so entrusted to it judiciously.
Don't cause me to start helping Oyedele in his ministry of selling taxation to Nigerians. Yes sir. |

ogawisdom: When you over diversify you water down your returns. Nobody actually needs more than 5 quality growth stocks in their portfolio 1 from one sector.
It's funny to see investors kill their returns with crazy over diversification as they want to be in every stock. In absolute terms, 20% in 6 weeks is massive. It's more than Agba gets in 52 weeks, and he still pays WHT. in dollar terms, that 20% gains is over 26% given that naira has gained over 5% YTD. Sometimes, we need to just appreciate our gains in their absoluteness, not comparison it with other people with higher returns. If you must compare, compare with Agba's 2%, since he only makes about 0.35% per week. |

It's that tone of "the tax man will wait for you" I don't think it portrays the best reaction. Congratulations are what are in order to the boss. |

On extremely positive days like this, traders like me underperform the market.
But it's fine, cos such days are less than 5% of all market sessions.
I did 1.3%, Index did 4.4% |

zendi: Hmm, the taxman is proud of you.
If you like turn your portfolio to Heirs Holdings, the taxman will wait for you and/or your heirs.
The vulture is a patient bird .
Worry about your own tax implications. Someone smart enough to make big sums in the market should know how to use the concessions in the tax laws to his advantage. I can never have up to 5% effective tax rate no matter how many billions I make in the market. Except the rewrite the law, and they won't. |

Agbalowomeri: This letter is addressed to AwesomeJ I think he's telling you MTNN is still a good buy . He probably sees a 3x upside from current price based on strong FPI demand. we should balance the optimism though with the reality that investors from thesame country abandoned etisalat, if they were that desperate, they should be looking in its direction. |

megawealth01: When is the bears?Even in bitisi no one seems to be telling the "WHEN" Easy. When you see brent at sub $40 inflation above 20% reserves below $40bn balance of trades returning to deficit, Start trimming your naira assets. That's the sweet thing here. Usually you would have more than 3 months to comfortably exit. The crash of 2020 was that terrible cos of FPIs, I lost about 10% of my portfolio in a single day. Brent went sub zero then too. The bulls we see are not baseless, stocks are not cryptos, so let Agba trim his fixed deposit, and ride the bull with us. |

mikeapollo: Whether Tinubu, APC, Obi/Atiku, ADC, Wike/PDP, I don't care. I am not the investor that dragged the market in November 2025; which made govt to quickly reverse and recant some of their statements on the CGT, including reducing it to 25%, which would be unlawful because such 25% is not backed by any law. You're speaking on what you don't know. The 25% is exactly what's in the law. There's no specific rate set for CGT in the law. It simply uses the PIT rate which is 15-25% in the law, as well as CIT rate which was 30% and is to reduce to 25%. Those are already enacted. |
