Lesotho and Swaziland are two independent countries inside South Africa, completely surrounded, they are surving
But someone believes that if South East becomes Biafra, it will not survive? Isnt that laughable
Some of these people dont even know that Imo, Abia have direct access to the sea through it tributaries and Rivers This your lie of Swaziland aka Etswatini is inside South Africa still baffles me till this day. |

Daveconsult007: PH more commercial than Onitsha or Aba? Its obvious you don't know what commerce means. Don't mix up oil and gas fields for commerce. Mention two markets in PH that houses international merchants. Yet Anambra boasts of tens of it.
I lived in Portharcourth in childhood days before leaving for Cameroon, Most big traders in PH are Ibo guys who get their stocks from Aba and Onitsha. How many international I can see when they talk about commercial your mind only run to 2 by 2 shops.

proeast: You're quite ignorant. P.H is not even half commercialized when compared to Onitsha or Aba. In fact, P H gets virtually most of its needs from Aba. From clothes to shoes, groceries to motorparts and machine tools. They even bring heavy machines to fix in Aba or get technicians from Aba to go fix it in P.H
The same is applicable to Uyo, Calabar and Bayelsa, they all rely on Aba. Stand at Ikot ekpene road, in Ogborhill part of Aba and you will see numerous overloaded buses and vans heading to Akwa-cross. Stand at osisioma or P.H road and you will observe those heading to P.H/Bayelsa axis.
On the other hand, Onitsha serves North, Delta, Edo, Ondo etc.
Allow informed people to enlighten you instead exhibiting your ignorance openly. And you had to add lie to make your post sweet. |

gidgiddy: There was never anything called Niger Delta Republic, there was only a declaration of a Niger Delta Republic by a militant, which in effect means nothing, anyone can make any declaration
But in the case of Biafra, it had its own government headed by Ojukwu, had a cabinet, had its own currency, own anthem, own coat of arms and was recognised by some countries such as France, Belgium, Zambia and Ivory Coast
Niger Delta Republic was nothing but a mere declaration, Biafra was real

Oscarhakx: a community that has a river that connect to the sea by a relatively short distance, has access to the sea. All you need is to dredge the river, to accomodate ships. This has always been done. You can only dredge your own part of the River, not another man's part. Just as countries have their airspace, same way they have their waterways. You need to dialogue in this case for vessels to pass from the sea into the creeks down to your River Port. Without a good bilateral agreement it won't work. Mali or Niger republic can have a river Port on river Niger, but for vessels to come in from the sea to those ports, they must have a bilateral agreement with Nigeria. It's that simple. Today, countries like Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger Republic use ports in Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Benin and Nigeria for importing or exporting goods via the sea. |

gidgiddy: As long as you have a water way that runs through your land to the ocean, you have access to the sea
Wether you have the resources to build a River port and do dredging is another matter entirely By your logic, it means Niger republic and Mali have access to the sea |
