Interesting, as i was stopped by VIO and had to part with 5k for not having road worthiness or Mot but is come to my knowledge that only newer cars can possibly get mot and older ones get road worthiness. its best to have it in hand as you never know when you might get stopped by these vio guys. police no get wahala.

Nice ride. but think about reviewing the price downwards as its quite on the high side. also think of the cost of conversion as its a delicate car and conversion might be on the high side thats if you can find someone reputable to do it. happy sales.

Business / Re: GTB Bank And Their Checking Balance Rule by axeman85(m): 8:01am On Jul 17, 2010
the same experience i had wth gtb during the week, went to the branch at allen roundabout jst after sweet sensation, to make a withdrawal as i didnt have my atm or chqbook with me, but i knew my account details and aso had my drivers licence. i explained to the cashier who told me that without chqbook or atm i cant make a withdrawal as it was a current account, she then told another collegue to ask someone else who told me that i would have to write a letter and they will fax it over to my account office in bank anthonyway and then wait for him/her to authprize it all because of 10k. they went further to waste my time by telling me to go to customer service to tell me what to do when they fully know what the score was. to cut the long story short i had to go back home and pick my atm but i wasnt impressed at all.

Autos / Re: Sold..1 Month Registered 2003 Nissan Maxima Reduced to 1.1m naira by axeman85(m): 9:18pm On Jun 27, 2010
Hangaa:

@ axeman, This is 2003 Nissan Maxima and not one of those 2000 posted on this thread , I just bought the car last month for my wife for 1.8m and she just secured a visa to study abroad that's why i'm seling and if you really want to be sure its the 2003 model , you can google it .Moreso i m not in a haste to sell , Drives so smooth and everything is intact.

ok i have heard you agreed its a 2003 model BUt understand its been registered even of its just for 24jrs or 1 month. the fact still remain its 9ja used. and besides the tokumbo of this same car, with low milage is sold for 1m to 1.2m, and u r asking 1.5. anyway as said earlier. happy sales. be reasonable with the price and you will start getting offeres.

@poster

Nice car and nice looks BUt dont you think you are being over ambitious with the price ? 1.5 for a 9ja registered used 2000 or 2002 maxima am not sure of the year but very sure its a 2000. look at other threads and you will see the price difference, dewoy sold one on here recently for 700 or 800k and you are coming to advertise urs for 1.5. think twice. as you will be lucky to sll this car for 900k .
Phones / Re: Nigeria Threatens To Shut Down Telecom Operators Breaking Rules by axeman85(m): 9:22am On Jun 27, 2010
This is a very very and absolutely daft idea. Registering sims doesnt stop crime in any way shape or form at all. even in developed countries like uk and usa that have the facilitites to monitor people. they dont tell their citizen to register their sims at all. there are always 2 services offered either pay as you go or contract, its only the contract phones that you are requirred to register your details based on the fact that you will have to get a credit check done to enable you get the phone and even with that sef crime and fraud of all sorts are being committed. you can imagine when someone comes to lagos and wants to sell 4 to 5 blackberries all these are done fraudlently by using peoples details to get the phone. so in essence what am saying is that it wont work or it cant work in a country like Nigeria at all. shikena. just pr stunt.

Technology Market / Re: Remote Control Operated Generators For As Low As N115,000! by axeman85(m): 12:52pm On Jun 22, 2010
Primegold:

@ Axeman,

You know what you have and what you intend to power.

6 'normal' bulbs doesn't say anything. Are the bulbs 15w, 40w, 50w, 60w, 100w or 200w? And the above sizes are all 'normal'.

What is the size of your plasma?

The ox fan is it 18", 20" or 26"? and what's the wattage?

What is the wattage of the Surround System?

Find out what they are and weigh that against the capacity of the gen.

It's simple, really.

ok ok i get you now, anyway i dont know as i dont have those info but will double check as long as u say original tiget is 900w. so will check the watts of all i intend to use and compare it to the 900w of di gen. thanks.

1m ba .
It has been driven in nigeria for only 4 months
registered in march.

So do u honestly tink 1m is the price?
The price is negotiable to a reasonable extent.

guy no be fight matter, look at how much others are seeling this tupe of car for, even check out, chelseabmw own, also check out the prices, dealers are selling toks of this tiny light never been used in 9ja and u will see that the price u are asking is way too much or high. just my own view.
Technology Market / Re: Remote Control Operated Generators For As Low As N115,000! by axeman85(m): 12:02pm On Jun 22, 2010
Primegold:

It depends on the wattage of the items in question.

The total wattage of the Tiger is 900w.

ok agreed but simple question, yes or no, will it power lets say 6 normal bulbs, 1 or 2 standing ox fan, plasma and surround system ?
