Nothing to show it was premeditated murder.
Crime of passion. This is manslaughter, maybe life imprisonment. All these quota/sharia judges
you are right. Intent (mens rea) is an important element in securing a conviction for murder. At best, the conviction should be manslaughter.

If you choose to come in for your MRes.... Plan to write Australian Bar exams immediately. Solicitor is on the skilled list. You can also go to New Zealand to write it, if that's more flexible for you when you are here. You can get the PR before you finish your MRes as a Solicitor.
hmm. Thanks for this insight. I never thought of this.

First of, My prayer is that you get the scholarship for your MRes program. It cost close to 65000bucks annually. For your PR, It will be easier for your husband to apply for PR as the principal apicant since his skill set is closer to what's available on the Skill shortage list. To increase your PR chances. He needs to focus on acing IELTS or PTE on arrival or even now, because he might be blown away by paying bills on arrival. You need to increase your points by writing IELTS too if you have not. He can nominate an occupation that u sleds competitive (with lower cut-off) as his skillset cuts across many fields. After getting PR. He can do whatever job he likes eventually. Hope this helps.
Other things like studying and doing that in a regional area are other points but that one na long thin. My tips are for the NOW. You guyz can get extra 15points from both of you doing IELTS, but with him scoring maximum points. You don't have to.
thank you very much for your response. It is well appreciated. I have written ielts general training and maxed out (L8.5 W. 7.5 S8 R9). I will encourage him to write ielts now. I'm really hoping for a scholarship.

Please elders in the house, I need your advice.
I'm applying for masters degree programme by research. I have found a supervisor who has agreed to supervise my thesis and i'm hoping to get scholarship.

Beyond the studies, I desire PR as I really want my kids (3 of them) to live and school in Australia. I am a lawyer here in Nigeria and the proposed masters is also in law. I plan to do phd after the masters. From my findings, I don't think law is on the Australian skills list. However, my husband has Hnd elect/elect and Bsc computer science. He has worked mainly in IT (system support and IT Audit/control). He is willing to go with me.

If we go together, what do we need to do to increase our chances of getting PR? I really need your advice.

Hahahaha You are absolutely right o! They treated us like Kings and Queens, I have never experienced the kind of love we were shown befor, never! From time to time we were given food stuffs by our different neighbors (tomatoes, pepper, rice, yam flour, corns, etc) as in ehnnnn...they were so so generous towards us, free rides inclusive and the joy and excitement on their faces each time a corper passed by is beyond this world! We also had a particular rich neighbor, whose grand kids visited our lodge during the day time then later at night we go to their house...a very big house and talk about politics, life, watch TV etc and by the way, I served in Isemi-Ile town, mehn... I wished I could go back again....and the corpers lodge? Oh goodness! Too nice... Honestly, the lodge is so spacious and on point! and we all had one room to ourselves. We were 8 corpers in the lodge. We also cooked and did everything together like a family.
Our NCCF family house is situated at Okeho, PHCN building...i believe they are still there and we used the Winners Chapel for our Sunday fellowship.
Lol I could go on and on really... Loool
Ah! You really had a great time. I'm from Okeho. When I was a child, my family lived very close to Okeho Iganna grammar school. Our activities revolved around that school. We played on the surrounding hill's. There were a lot of them then. Sweet nostalgia!

I remember I've seen her before at a bus park in Maryland about 4 or 5 years ago. She was crying profusely and begging that her child was at lasuth and she needed money for treatment and drugs. Most of us were moved by her desperation for help and gave her money without knowing she was a junkie. Someone must have been trailing her. I'm glad she finally found help. God bless Tony Rapu

Guys, please I still pray for anyone who has experience on any of those two centres (Ikeja and Surulere) to answer my question above.

Anyone with PTE Voucher for sale??
I had the test at Ukeas Ikeja. Test was scheduled for 1p.m. We didn't start till almost 3.pm due to some technical issues with their equipment. Test was good for the most part but at some point during the "give short answer" session, there was a glitch in the audio recording and I missed a question. They did nothing. The same happened again while I was listening to thr retell lecture audio, though for a brief moment.

I align with him 100%,though the grammatical soundness of his letter is suspect and unbecoming of his status as the head of a citadel of learning.

He literally penned a rant fuelled by an enraged emotional state. This is too watery and pedestrian for a VC.
He intentionally used expressions everyone would understand.

Your husband as a dependent will qualify for a open work visa which means he can work for any employer anywhere in NZ. There’s no restrictions on the hours he can work.

He will get a job if his qualifications meet the required standard. If not, he can always start from somewhere.

Your kids can go to school for free. But sometimes they ask for donations which is voluntary.

Hopefully this answers ur questions
Thank you for the info.

They grant admission to anybody who meet the requirements and have the fee..... nearly 70% of the students here are not local from what I’ve observed. They mostly Indians, Asian and some few others.
You’re allowed to work upto 20 hrs/ week legally while u study.
Also you’re eligible for about 3 years post study work visa.
Buts the price could range from between NGN 4.5-6 million per Annum . That’s around 20,000-30,000 NZD for international students
Thanks for the insight and the information you are providing here. I'm applying to University of Auckland for PhD and may be considered for tuition and stipend scholarship. I would be coming with family (husband and 3kids, 2 are of school age). Can my husband work based on my student visa? How easy would it be for my husband to get a job? He is a systems analyst. How are there primary schools? Do we have to pay fees for the kids?

So what do u advice we do we haven’t taking d IELTS exam yet. I heard it’s really difficult. If we eventually have plans to take it is there a study center in Abuja where d pay is relatively ok one can at least study for some time before registraing for d exam.
I wrote the ielts on February 9, 2019 for the first time with 8month pregnancy. I started preparing mid-January as that was when I decided to relocate. I had the following scores LWRS 8.5, 7.5, 9, 8.

I didn't go to any study centre. I simply watched Jay's videos on each of the sections. I also watched Liz's videos. Then i practised intensely using ieltsonlinetests.com and Cambridge ielts downloaded from devfartha. Be ready to use a lot of data.

Hi am in a bit of dilemma my husband and I are both civil servants am also a lawyer and our take home put together is about 260k per month. We have two kids of ages three and four we have a good opportunity to travel to Canada with a job offer but under unskilled worker. Am thinking of a better life for my kids but a bit confused cos of d fear of d unknown. Will it be wise to leave our jobs considering Canada has a good education system secondly we also intend schooling when we get there so we can get better work places pls what ur advice on this we are really in a fix what ur opinion for those that have been there
I am also a lawyer and a civil servant. My hubby and I earn almost twice your combined salary as he is in the private sector and we are seriously considering Canada. I was like you for a long time feeling comfortable with our Naija earnings till January this year when I suddenly realised that my kids deserve better. I was thinking we would be able to raise enough money to send them abroad for undergraduate studies but that dream is becoming elusive with the rise in cost of living. By the time you pay school fees, rent, feed, and fuel your generator, you will realise you are barely surviving.

I have written ielts. I wish I had made this decision about 3/4 years ago when I had plenty age advantage.

MMM is not a business. That's where you all get it wrong. It's a donation exchange platform. Once you understand it that way, you'll use your spare cash and enjoy it as long as it lasts.

I have no problem with MMM and wish you all well.

But my worry is that it lacks real business principles/model, especially for sustainability. tongue

It will be interesting to read Seun's comment on the recent developments.
