You allowed your wife to use contraceptives, that may be the roots and the cause of most of her problems, women should avoid contraceptives, It's balances hormones and pollutes the mindset of a woman therein causing unnecessary behavioral switches.

The brain of a woman is naturally unstable, When she adds contraceptives to that, expect drama.

It can't all be about buses or public transport.

The number of Nigerians who take public transport daily is less than those who do not.

To the latter group, and particularly if you live in a rural area, N8,000 every month for 6months will go some way. If the govt increases the amount, that's even better. Tge biggest problem with distributing money is how to get it to the people who need it. I just can't see how it will happen.

But generally, Nigeria is not only about people who have the loudest voice on social media. A government has to look at solutions that work best across all sections of society

Please I need people with first hand experience to advice me on the best country that I can legally relocate to in the next 6 months with my son (Not UK pls). I was planning towards December 2024 initially but the situation of things in the country currently has made it become a thing of urgency, before the small savings I have is totally wiped off with forex and inflation rates.

Apply for Canada study visa so you can start studies in January. There is a Canada study thread in the travel section. Canada is English speaking. Depending on the funds you have, you can either go first then have your son join you in about 3 to 6months of your arrival.

At the same time, apply for studies in Europe (Sweden, Germany etc). You have to learn the languages for integration.



I would really appreciate suggestions/recommendations.

Those saying 450K is more than enough to buy a land and start building do not really understand how expensive things are in Nigeria today. I earn slightly above what the OP mentioned, but believe you me, it's not been easy. If you live in Lagos, Abuja or PH and you are married with kids, you will understand. A 2 bedroom flat in an average neighborhood is over 700K. Cost of fuel and car maintenance is over 60/70K monthly in recent times. School fees for 2/3 children is over 200K per term (600/800K annually). Feeding takes over 100K monthly. Utilities and other miscellaneous dey ooo. Best thing na just to save enough and japa.

I've never been loved because I don't know what love means at all. I was a posthumous child. Lost my dad when my mum was pregnant. Shortly after birth, I lost my mum. I have no siblings. I lived with relatives who maltreated me so much that I thought they even had issues with my late parents cos I have never seen such dehumanizing treatment before except only in movies. Up till now, I hate people due to the psychological impact of the maltreatment I got from the people I lived with. I like been alone most times because I trust nobody, I can't confide in people because I feel nobody got my back. I was so determined to at least get education for myself and today I am glad I did. I bought a 2002 Toyota Camry as my first car in October and for the first 2-3 months the car performed pretty well.

However lately, from January it has been one problem to the other.

From overheating to coil problem to spark plug problem and others.

The recent issue with the car is that the car doesn’t hold slow anymore.

That is the car goes off at slow speeds. I’ve changed coil, changed spark plug, ringed engine twice all to no avail.

This has caused a huge hole in my pocket as I’ve even had to borrow to pay for some of these repairs.

Just yesterday in a bid to resolve this issue, I took the car to another mechanic and he told me my engine block had washed and that even if he grinded the valve the holding slow issue won’t stop. I inquired about the cost of replacing the block and purchase alone was close to a 100 thousand. I’m just tired and frustrated, I need advise, do I sell the car or do I repair this?


Is this mechanic trying to extort me. Experience car users please advise

You make it a priority and do it in stages.

You have too many conflicting goals. Choose one and focus on it.

I will be 40 on Oct 19 this year and I am scared the kind of life I have always desired may not be
achievable. Let me list these things that worries me so that you can probably advise me or assist me in achieving any of them.
1) By 40 I had wished I will be living in my house with cars in my garage
Current situation- I am a salary earner who eagerly waits for the salary to drop before my family can eat conveniently every month.
2)I love cars and driving. Was thinking of getting a good car for Uber business.
Current situation- I have not been able to gather enough money to buy a car for Uber or personal use.
3)Seeking greener pasture abroad.
Current situation- I have not been able to have enough disposable income to even get a passport to start with in the first place.

The issue I have progressing is that of enough data subscription to watch more tutorials.
5)Acquisition of at least Masters.
I have a passion for learning and self development but I struggled to have my HND with distinction. Gathering enough funds to start my masters program has been an uphill task.

Stop patronising mediocrity. University in 21st century producing bread to generate funds is a big low. It's a university for crying out loud! They should go into inventories like Biogas waste management and collaborate with government if they truly want to generate funds.
