you are on the path to a big scam. You will do biometrics and even do medicals after that you won't hear anything again. You would find it very hard to believe you have been scammed because the biometrics and medical will make the whole arrangement look real. It's a syndicate and they are everywhere. If it was that easy to get a job offer and LMIA, 70% of those re-writing ielts and pursuing transcripts for WES would have been in Canada since.
Ennymama:
Hello gurus in the house,

Please I need your advice. I saw a sponsored ads on Facebook about Canada Jobs. It also captioned that the company will sponsor the visa. I picked the number and chatted on WhatsApp. I was asked to send my CV to their email and after 24hours, I was mailed that my qualifications met their requirements. I was offered job as a Drill Engineer for the Oil and gas company. I was later sent Temporary Residence Visa Form to fill as well as Labour Market Impact Assessment(LMIA) form and Job agreement letter(that have in it that I will be responsible for the biometrics fee while other cost till arrival will be handled by the company). I filled and signed where necessary and returned them with my International passport as requested.

After few days, I was mailed to send the LMIA , Visa Form and my International passport to the lagos embassy of Canada through the email they gave (lagos@vfsglobal.g-c.online, so as to book my biometrics. I did as instructed and after few hours, got a mail from the said lagos embassy mail that my documents have been reviewed and i should proceed to pay for my biometrics through the payment link supplied so I can be given date for the biometrics. The biometrics fee is $116 CAD and processing fee is $91 CAD, bringing total to $207 CAD which amounted to #66,549.89 or pay same into one CEDI SIGNAL ZENITH BANK account and send receipt to them.

I am confused as to being real or not which is the reason I seek your genuine and honest advice.

Thanks.

Don't worry yourself too much. When filling your application, fill the true state of things i.e state your full time job. Declare your US visa refusal. If your side hustle is registered, mention it in personal history then add a letter of explanation that it is a family business that you ran part-time (weekends) and did not in any way affect your full time work.
etyno:
Hello everyone, I have an issue that has been disturbing my mind all day and I know the gurus here would be able to give an answer to this

Some years ago, I applied for a US visiting visa which I was denied.
At that time, I was running a part time small baking business. In order to make it look like a big organization, I claimed it was a full time job and also claimed a salary of 200,000 as well as some non existent job description like recruitment of staff ( I know this is a very foolish thing to do, I was wrongly adviced and I regret this deeply).
As it is, I will be filling a Canadian PR application soon and I have to mention this part time business in my personal history but this time to truthfully state it is a part time home baking job.

My concern is, hope this would not be an issue if IRCC decides to share information with the US and notices the difference in job status and address? Pls note that I am not using the baking business to claim any point, it's would be in my personal history.
Also I have been doing this side baking hustle for 10years till date even though I work full time in a bakery as a baker. Someone said it is a red flag( don't know if this is true)

I also want to know if someone can be doing two or three things concurrently when writing the personal history. For example, I was doing my Apprenticeship while serving NYSC and I was working full time while having my side business. Won't they overlap? What is the best way to go about it pls.

Pls do not ignore, I need valid answers. What can I do pls

Doubt that . Lokely he had seat belts on and most have suffered a lot injuries to his legs. His front was also damaged from the pictures. Yeah the right passenger side suffered more damage but i guess the deaths from the back was largely caused because the occupants at the back weren't strapped in (i.e wearing seat belts).

Likely they were ejected on impact and flunged at crazy speeds against the stationery truck. That's instant death. It would take a miracle to survive such. Even surviving such would lead to almost a life strapped to a bed for decades.

Please guys the seat belts at the back isn't for decoration. Always wear them.

Also Nigerians should stop running like mad people. Use your cruise Control. Limit speeds to less than 100km and max 120km on straight roads where you can see almost 200m ahead.

I cannot wrap my head around why someone would be doing 160km on Nigerian roads. That's suicidal. And lots of cars weave past you at such speeds on a daily basis.

very instructive post. 80km per hour should be the benchmark. Our roads arent so great. When you are being driven by someone do not sleep, keep your eyes on the speedometer so you can caution the driver. I like to sit beside the driver. Only God protects but we need to be careful

Continuation;

Ronke is also the cultural ambassador to Queen Moremi Ajasoro, an arm of the House of Oduduwa Foundation. She has been working closely with the traditional ruler for some years now prompting her to move to Ile Ife. She co-founded the Adire Oodua Textile Hub in Ile-Ife. Ooni even commissioned her cultural centre a few months ago.

At a glance, Oba Ogunwusi and Ronke Ademiluyi appear to be working together and jointly promoting Yoruba culture. Underneath the façade, they are allegedly seeing each other.

The Deputy Convener of Hope Alive Initiative, Tope Adesegun, is also alleged to be one of the women who has a place in the monarch’s heart. She was once rumoured to be the one to replace Olori Wuraola, the Ooni’s first wife who quit their marriage over allegations of infidelity and barrenness. Her initiative is under the management of House of Oduduwa Foundation.

The third woman, Princess Afolashade Ashely had her base in London a few years ago until her relocation to Nigeria to join the Ooni in his palace. She is an accountant and runs a Non-Governmental Organization, Ashley Adegoke Foundation. She is not a new entrant in the Ooni of Ife’s life. She has always been in the life of Oba Enitan Ogunwusi’s life even before he married Olori Wuraola. She would have been the official Olori but she is a single mother of one. Because the tradition of Ife forbids the Ooni from marrying any woman who has ever had a child for another man, she was replaced with an official Olori. However, Ashley moved into the palace and she has remained someone who cannot be toyed with. Even the Ooni does not tolerate any disrespect towards her. She has also been parading herself as one of the queens of the royal father.
Pictures of Ooni of Ife other wifes ;
Thanks for the info. He could simply marry all the other women too. Tradition allows it. He could marry as many wives as possible. That will save Naomi a lot of headache. She will know who her co-wives are.

you are right. It all boils down to the parties in the marriage. How much they understand each other and how they have treated each other in the past. What works for couple A may not work for couple B.

As the time is getting closer I'm developing some cold feet, but eventually I'm sure I will move. Don't really know if leaving my civil service job and farming business is a good idea, I don't really have an Abroad game plan yet.
A family friend whose wife is also a nurse moved to the UK. There has been no issues. The man takes care of the kids when she is at work. He is looking for a job but there's no pressure whatsoever from his wife. They've both been having each other's back from way back. It's just a phase. If you have married a good woman, you have nothing to fear. Join her, take care of the kids while you search for job opportunities. It may entail doing some short time courses to fit into the job market. Be determined that you will make it in the UK. Have a very positive mindset.

don't take it. Instead, find a good plumber, électrician or a builder in your neighbourhood and become his apprentice. Be submissive and open to learning. In 2 years you would be better of. You can offer plumbing or electrical services and even have a shop later on where you sell materials.

my son who just got into jss 1 came home one day and said a boy in ss2 punched him in the face after closing hours and flung his bag into the bush. I was pained. My husband called the principal that very night. She assured us she would look into the matter. The following morning as early as 7.00 am, two young relations who lived with us followed my son to school. As the bully was approaching the school gate, they called him aside and warned him and then told all the teachers present at the gate what he did. I cancelled all my appointments that morning and got to the school at 8.30am. I met with the vice principal. They would not allow me see the boy as this was against their disciplinary policy. But he assured him they were going to investigate the matter. When my son got back home, he told me that a panel was set up and they were both questioned. The boy was punished.

I love the school's disciplinary procedure. It was quick and transparent. It's a staff school though.

very true. I made decent money buying books from importers and selling online till i ventured into some other businesses. Link up with an industry where the dealers are not interested in online business. Be the online link. Post their products online even without buying. When there's an order, you go buy from them and deliver. Very low capital entry. You don't need much money to start.

Find someone who is doing a business and making sales offline. You’ll find many of them in Onitsha, Computer village, Aba, Alaba, Aspamda, Idumota, etc.

Most of these people have no idea what goes on online. They also do not care what goes on online.

All they care about is making sales and getting money flowing into the business daily.

Be their online person.

Bring their business online, and advertise to those who want what they sell.

You will make money doing this.

You’ll make a lot of money doing this.

As a woman, you can open an online shop for that woman selling lace in Aba, and add money on top onto for yourself. That’s your own profit on every sale.

As a guy, you can open an online store store for that man selling computers at Computer village.

Read information from Google and publish content about computers and what people should look out for before buying a laptop.

More people would begin to reach out to you when need laptops.

Reach out to that guy who makes shoes and footwear in your neighborhood and be their online guy.

Promote what they make online and add your own profit.

Look around you, look where others are neglecting, you’ll find a gem.

You can’t afford to be idle for long.
You can’t afford to stay broke.
You can’t afford to continue earning 100k salary every month.

You don’t need to be a genius to make money online, and have a better life.

Look for a business that is offline, bring it online and get them SALES.

You will make a lot of money.

Not just money...

You will build your confidence.
Your influence will grow, and...
You’ll attract more opportunities to yourself.

You need to start operating smartly.

Hi.

Honestly speaking am really worried, have dated my fiance for sometime now. So we finally decided to tie the knot.
She suggested we do it this year November and I concurred, so we've been saving towards it ever since.

Last 2 months I made my intentions known to her family, that I will like to marry their daughter. Due to the conversations I had With her parents, I told them I wanted it small.. because am not financialy buoyant.

But To my surprise, her dad said I shouldn't worry about it, they are going to support me ( which is most likely Normal)

(They gave me traditional rite's, which I sorted out by myself)

With the traditional right drawing close, last month I learnt from my fiancee..her parents are planning to buy 2 cow for the traditional and white wedding. (I was surprised)

The following week, the hall she choosed for the reception of the white wedding, has already been paid for by her dad which was about 500k excluding the decorations which they also took care of ( even though I opted we could have done the reception in the church)

But my fiancee told me her dad is inviting alot of well-wishers home and abroad to come celebrate with us.both his fellow staffs and all.

* I bought 2 bag of rice and groundnut oils

* We paid for the cakes

* We paid for drinks

* We sorted things out (invitation cards, pre shoot photos)

But was surprised 2 days to the traditional marriage, more expensive drinks were rolling in.

On the d day of the white wedding, I realised, they cooked more than 8 bags of rice ( coconut, jollof, banga and fried) meats were surplused.
Alot of people came from her family's, while my own families were just there.. they did get the message.

Someone even said it to my mom face. THAT THIS GIRL PAPA TRY O.

please, I don't want to sound like am a bad person or I don't know good.
Offcus I appreciate her parents efforts, but am just a little bit worried.

As a man, won't this come to haunt me in the future?
that's how we roll here in the west. Weddings arent just about the couple. I would do the same for my daughter without thinking twice
