Those of you interested in finding free tuition schools/schools that offer scholarships. there is this blog

the rules for expedited dates says if you have recently been refused, you cant apply for an emergency date. just try and hustle and monitor the portal till u get a date. good luck. and readc the rules on expedited appointments.

The rule specifically says Don't pay! That's not goin to better your case dearm did u even read this thread at all? It has been discussed over and over again. I think d guy was eventually denied and was askin if he could transfer his fees to the next term!

My good ness, usbound, who. Yold you to pay school fees? Omg!! Its specifically stated that you should not make any finalcial comitments to the schools as that doesn't in any way gurantee you a visa. I wonder how you were able to even pay for a US university without enrolling. Hmm,  That's not good at all o,  Just withold that info when you get to the embassy. But if you are asked, DO NOT LIE

Gbaski 20, u are asking the question we all have in mind and trust me if we all had the answer to this question this thread won't even be formed! To each, their own career path and aspirations.

I too didn't get schools housing. But I have contacted off campus housing people and I am working on it. But she just didn't think it was necessary to start tellin the vo all dat one. Infact am very surprised they rejected her. Because she has gone on holiday before.infact her passport is full. She's 32. She has a first degree in mircro biology and she was tryin to go for pharmacy but undergrad. She's a family friend. Infact I don't know why, Maybe they felt since she's not married here maybe she won't come back.

Meanwhile someone I know wat rejected this morning because when they asked her where she would stay she said the schools housing was full and she will sort herself out when she arrives, That is an unreasonable response,If you are a genuine student, you must have a plan!Next thing, I Cannot issue you a visa at this time.

Meanwhile, I studied law!! I have no idea about anything other than basic biology. Sorry I won't be able to help you on that. Also, I don't think anyone can give you advise on your career path. Shebi u know why you chose the course? You should be able to answer the questions even in your sleep!

Omg! We are birth day mates! Ill be 23 on the 2nd of august. I don't know but it appears that goin to for first degree at 27 mite not be easy to believe. Do u have a degree alredy? Because if you have background in one course. And want to change a career path, den its understandable. I wishh u luck sha!

Login to your portal, cancel your appointment then schedule appointment you will see earlier dates. I know another person will still come and ask the same question. I strongly hold a contrary opinion! In nigeria you can get two jeeps for 1 in the Us. Where did this news envisage from? People in nigeria bring their cars from the us! In nigera, the government has refused to pay 18000 minimum wage. To get a house in nigeria, you need to pay at least 2 years rent! Are u kidding me? When your father knows nobody, to get a job after graduation is a huge task! A basket of onions alone is 6000 naira! Recharge cards are pay as you go.

I said I learnt( which means I stand to be corrected). By the way, doesn't it make sense that students make the same requests some are granted odas are refused? If they were not based on analysis, on what grounds do they approve or deny? It certainly means they do those checks. They check your sevis and Ds-160 form! Becos that's the information they even require for student emergency appointment,  But I stand to be corrected on the 99 percent issue because I do not know.pls abeg don't be aggressive!

Apparently, 99 percent of students whose emergency requests are apporves have a higher chance of getting their visa ooo$ I heard they practiclally process your documents and chec your sevis , ananlyze your Ds-160 before they send you that approval email.

I just hope most of the people on the US student visa thread can see this,  If you are going to America or any other country where you don't have family, you should try to organize yourself better. I feel soo sorry for you because I knew you from the Us student visa thread. People kept saying if you have no money don't come to America. Quick question, are u on any form of assistantship? Because either ways, you will still need money when you get to school. If you haven't enrolled at all, I believe that you haven't paid accomodation or tuition. How do you plan to get insurance? Immunization and all d other things you should pay for?

Sorry about that ooo. But please post your experience so all of us can form a judgement. Did u have all your documents? What course where you going for? What was d reason for rejection? Let us know!

Vicidomi, did you change location? Are there any dates earlier than the dates which you originally schedlued? This is strange because it they said it has been apporved then it means that they are suppose to release better dates to you. Can you say a brief description of what u sent in ur emergency request application. That's fast o, Some people I know applied since last week and are still awaiting a response. Maybe u should call their help center on 094601748 I know people schedule appointments by phone so maybe that's what they will do for you. Don't get too worried. Just call that number!

Vicidomi, pls can u post the brief decsription of what u wrote in your emerggecny appointment application? How long after you aPplied did u get a response? These are questions others have been asking. Meanwhile, u need to canel d existin appointment to reschedule. Earlier dates b4 d date on ur i20 will be displayed.!!
