It is a fact of biblical history that the biblical Prophets wear Turbans. It is also a fact that Christians have deviated from following the traditions of the Prophets in the Bible. Even Jesus that Christians profess to follow is never imitated by Christians. Biblical pictures of Jesus shows him wearing flowing gown with well grown beard. Today how many Pastors, Bishops, Reverends can we point at having beard? How many wear the type of robe Jesus wore? What we have are beardless Pastors in well cut out suits! Christian Clergymen have turned to America and Britain to shape Christianity as if Jesus is an American or a Britico! The embarrassing situation the Pope is facing with his cap been blown away by wind could have been avoided if the Catholic Church has not invented an embarrassing cap for the pontiff and its officials. Christians it's time to go back to your Bible and read between the lines! |

TAKE YOUR EXAMPLE FROM JESUS! There is no place in the bible where Jesus asked an individual or a group of people to kneel down before him and then pray for them. Rather, Jesus put his forehead on the ground as Muslims do and taught his followers to recite "Our Father who art in heaven......"( cupping and raising their hands up). Therefore the act of kneeling down before a mere mortal is nothing but a fabrication of Pastor Adeboye and all other Pastors. May God help the Christians realise they are far away from the teachings and practices of Jesus, the son of Mary. |

This is a thread for outgoing President Goodluck Jonathan. Please do post yours. Below is mine: ADIEU MR. PRESIDENT: THE GENTLE FISHERMAN! I have always admired President Jonathan since his tenure as Vice President under the late president Yar'adua. He no doubt presented a humble and gentleman-figure from day one. When Yar'adua died, I saw him as a natural successor to Yar'adua. He did not prove me wrong and maybe many others in his first few years, until the man without shoes start derailing with great corrupt practises becoming so glaring under his administration. Jonathan came, saw, but did not conquer! He will however be remembered as a man who eventually saved Nigeria and indeed gave Nigeria a new life with his magnanimity in conceding defeat to Gen. Muhammad Buhari even before INEC announced the results of the Presidential Elections. He therefore lived to the end his well deserved Gentleman title. May Allah grant him Islam as the icing of his goodness. (Amin Yà Allah). |

MAJORITY OF IBOS ARE GREEDY AND UNGRATEFUL! The Oba of Lagos should be commended for putting the ungrateful Ibos where they belong. I have not seen a group of wicked, greedy and ungrateful group of people. Indeed is it possible for any ethnic national to enjoy in Ibo land what the Ibos are enjoying in Lagos? They always complain of being marginalised, yet they dominate a lot in many spheres of economic activity across Nigeria. El-Rufai as the FCT Minister then confirmed the Ibos has the largest plot of land in the FCT. Give the Ibos a chance they will want to dominate, yet they will keep complaining of being dominated.
