NPComplete: Nigerians sha. They won't have said 2 things it is always about putting someone out of business. Lol
One thing any engineer worth his onions knows is that the battery is what is driving the whole thing. The power generated will always be less than the battery capacity. So this project, though innovative, is not entirely spectacular.
What the guy just did is devise a means to convert the DC power of the battery to AC power that can power an AC light bulb. We also cannot be certain about the accuracy of the frequency of the AC power.
Nice project. But it's not running anyone out of business anytime soon.
Lol, see this video, this is another video entirely.
koboko69: People want development and keep making noise about how foriegn countries here but are not ready for what the foriegn countries do. Here in the US they task everything u buy, cash, online, debit machines anything. This is just an example of me trying to buy a tv worth over $1000. The tax is about $68 added to the original price of the tv which is 6% of the original cost.
Whats the minimum wage in the state you're residing?
Compare that minimum wage to the #18k minimum wage in nigeria which is just $50/month.
For them to increase the minimum wage to 30k/month ($83.33/month) has been a big problem, yet they want to tax everything taxable.
Maybe i should also remind you that there's also #50 ($0.14) charges over any money above 1k($2.7) deposited into any current account. They are yet to tell us what they have been able to achieve with this Money.
Also, you can't compare the infrastructures we have there to what we have here and to the best of my knowledge, those infrastructures existed there before almost everythings started getting taxed.
You can't compare the situation there to the situation here.
Gracealone: Meanwhile, nobody has told us anything about the amount realized so far on N50 charged on inflow into current accounts. I now use my savings accounts 99.99% .
And the TSA payment through Remita is the ripoff of the millennium. I had to spend over 2k in charges for N50,000 accommodation payment to FUNAAB, while I spent less than N300 to book for N55,000 Dana Air 2-way ticket to Abuja.
Yeah, paying online with remita is scam.
Next time, Generate pin and go to bank for payment. Charges will be just 157.5 Naira.
Well, if manufacturing a car to you is making "engines", then most top brands don't manufacture cars.
You see, those Nigeria companies you claim assemble vehicles are also manufacturers. Pick any top Five brand of vehicles, from Mercedes to Toyota and select different models of this vehicles and research on the quantity of parts manufactured by the brand.
In most cases, what they do is what you term as "assembling".
Even top Airplane companies like Boeing and Airbus dont manufacture the engine used by their planes. They rather install an engine built by Rolls Royce, General Electric or any other company that fits their needs on their planes, while they don't manufacture a good portion of the parts.
As far as I'm concerned, Nigeria companies that make cars are manufacturers.
If you think otherwise, then its safe to say there's probably no car manufacturer on earth, all of them simply assembles - since they don't manufacture every part used by their cars.
Teewhy2: If this kind of president handles Nigeria, the country will be on the right path in few months.
If that's the case, why not relocate to North Korea and enjoy the "right path" they have been enjoying.
A country where you don't have access to the internet, where you must be of a certain religion, where you can't legally travel out of the country, is that one a country?

princeade86: bro, forget data cracker. I just read nairaland forum finished, and 200mb Don go. the data cracker u said we brought it from the first of the month on my phone. why did they allowed me to use the one I later sub when I called them and yab them for close to 5 days even I connected it with my system.
I don't really get what you are saying, but its obvious you don't understand me.
You can check the quantity of data you use on your phone and detect apps that consume data.
The fact that the one you later subcribed for didn't disappear like the first one did not disprove my point.
One of the apps on your phone or system (if you conect system with your phone) might have updated and used up your data.
An example of what I'm saying is attached in the screenshot below. This one is measured by your phone not MTN.
