Why can't artist like Davido, Tiwa, Wizkid invest in hospitals?
E-Money has what it takes to invest in a radiotherapy machine, at least in his home state. i just checked the price. A single one cost 3 million USD. how many of the people mentioned above can drop that amount once without feeling it? |

Openbusiness: They can't leave anymore. Wuhan is on lockdown, the virus has spread to epidemic proportions. There is no cure for the virus anywhere in the world. Even the USA is already contemplating blocking all entry from China, because 2 more Americans that came from China has been confirmed infected bringing the number to 8, but unfortunately several health workers in the USA that were exposed to the infected people have also gotten infected. America airlines has cancelled all flights to and from China. The Coronavirus is not a new virus, the problem is this strain (genome) of Coronavirus is completely unknown and different from the ones that scientists have coded. This new strain has evolved. Wow. |

It is well.
You stated in your post that you're willing to fund your own travel expenses, in this case, isn't it possible for you to leave the affected region and catch a flight back to Nigeria?
At least, some Chinese who left the country for China will be returning back to Nigeria. I see no reason why they should prevent you from returning while allowing non Nigerians back. |

I heard the reason why they banned Okada and Keke Napep is because some people are using it to commit crimes.
Hopefully, they will soon ban all cars and buses too since those criminals will most likely upgrade to using cars and buses.
Banning Okada and Keke Napep is not the solution to security challenge. |

Sonnyboom: Obasanjo spent barely 3 years as military president when Buhari built the refinery but how many refineries did the same Obasanjo build when he ruled for 8 solid years without Buhari as the petreum minister ?! I know you'd rather commit suicide than answer this n yeah you should because that is what despicable bigoted souls like you deserve.
That's the reason the president will not be accorded the credit of building the refinery. You can also judge this from the amount of support Buhari accorded Dangote n his refinery with free forex just to ensure it is completed in record time but no you'd rather credit that to bigotry simply cos u were fed with endemic hate n chronic bigotry from the womb. The way some of you arguing on this thread reason baffles me. So, because Obasanjo didn't build any more refineries during his tenure as a civilian president, the credit to the refineries built during his time as head of state should be given to his minister of petroleum? Going by your logic, All the credit to the railways, roads/bridges and seaports being developed under the current Buhari government should be given to his minister of transportation since he never did those projects when he was Head of State. And before you come around to argue that Buhari spent less than 2 years as HOS, so he couldn't do the projects during his tenure, tell me how many projects he initiated during his less than 2 years rule. Also, saying credit should be given to Buhari over those refineries due to cheap forex being sold to Dangote by CBN to enable the quick and easy completion of Dangote's refinery is also faulty. It has been the duty of many successive governments to support invertors and give them mouthwatering deals to make them stay. So, saying Buhari should get credit over refineries built during Obasanjo's tenure because of his support for Dangote's refinery is quite absurd. Also, if the 5 government owned refineries presently in Nigeria function properly to capacity, we would have enough finished oil and even be exporting to neighbouring countries, so there's really no point in the federal government building additional refineries when the existing ones are not functioning. The fact that you support someone does not mean you should throw away logical reasoning and argue blindly. |

madridsta007: It was not a rugby match.
Ballistic missiles, 37 of them, hit a base where human beings were sheltering. The casaulties will be more than just "concussions".
If Iran reported that, it is a lie. If the US reported that, it is a lie.
Folks should learn to do the hard work of research before you believe whatever any government tells you. Perhaps, you didn't watch the video covered by a CNN reporter who visited the base the following day. They already knew before hand that Iran will be sending missiles their way. There was also a building (which was shown in the video) that was built by Iraq government (before US invasion) and designed to withstand Ballistic missiles. According to the video, the US military had to utilise the building which was built by their former enemy. However, you're free to believe whatever you want as the truth sha. But I'm sure if some soldiers had lost their lives, CNN wouldn't have covered it up when they paid a visit to the base the following morning, as they would have loved to use it against Trump. Also, the ballistic missiles that were shot were not up to 37. It's 22 out of which 17 were fired at the base and the other ones at other locations. Some of the missiles failed and didn't reach their intended target or didn't explode while those that reached the base are 8 and had a 15 minutes interval. So, you are the one that needs to do your research. However, after doing your research, if you still think many US personnel's were lost, then it's fine. You're free to believe that. |

madridsta007: Iran fired BALLISTIC missiles on a US base. The marines were not in a nuclear-designed bunker. They were mainly in bunkers made by Saddam. Thousands of US troops. Of course there had to be casualties. Why is this a surprise? The news said they had "Concussions" and the symptoms emerge days after. |

Also, they don't allow people to change PHP version and currently the PHP version they use is old (<5.3 if I remember correctly).
My advice to anyone who wants to host their website online is to avoid QServers. |

chigoizie7: So, the normal price was 20, they were telling her 26 earlier, but she eventually bought at 23,
Please tell me, if that artisan did not help her by taking her to another market, won’t she still buy at 26?
Don’t you think she gained by buying at a lesser price?
Baba this your talk no just follow, The only mistake the woman made was taking the carpenter along. According to the story, It was actually her friend that told her about the market in Ibadan, but she took the carpenter along which is her only mistake. But she was still able to save 60k compared to the Ife price. Even if she had bought at 26k in Ife, the carpenter would have still got his cut, since he followed her there. The only lesson to learn in the story is to never take an Artisan to the place you intend to buy your materials. |
Business › Re: The Price You Pay For Looking For Cheap Things -an Experience by Ayemileto(m): 8:55pm On Jan 06, 2020 |
Rubbish story.
If the woman have bought at 26k in Ife, the carpenter would have still get his own cut. The woman actually saved 60k in total too from the amount she would have spent in Ife, so it's still good business for her.
The carpenter is just a thief. And this is why I love my mum. She will go around market to buy the stuffs herself without taking the carpenter or artisan. And in many cases, she get it far cheaper than the price mentioned by the artisan.
The only mistake the woman made was taking the carpenter along. If she had gone herself without fear of getting scammed, she would have saved 6k on each bundle which is 120k in total.
But it's still good for her that she saved 60k. |
