My sister is submitting her study permit application very soon , has anyone submitted theirs recently? If yes please, how much does the VFS charges for it, and also for the biometric application?

Supporting Documents
Document of Landed Property owned by my Late Father, having the same address with my residential address, PMP, MCSA, MCSE 2012, CCNA Certifications, Waec result, HND, ND, PGD CERTIFICATE with all my transcripts attached, Letter of recommendation from Lecturers and previous employer, my Company documents incorporated March 2018 indicating am a share holder with 40% stake, certificate of incorporation, stamp duty receipt, no receipt of transaction, no tax documents, Mother's birthday certificate, and siblings birth certificates,
3 pages of Letter of explanation stating the source of my fund, employment history, and intent of study used in obtaining my admission.

Finally I wrote CIC a week to my resumption stating that I can no more defer my admission as my school request that considering my situation I will have to reapply after deferring for almost 3times, I attached the source of my funds and school receipt in the mail, stating the reason for my first denial was as a result of fund which has already been paid and stating my sponsor as a genuine government agency.

Plus : Serious fasting, prayers, anointing and Thanksgiving

For someone that applied online in a country where there is no visa application center, how can he figure out where in the world his application is been processed? Can he calculate his processing time using the country he sent out online application or the country where the application is been processed??

Where did u do ur biometrics, or u did it online as well? I know that's not possible. So the centre where u did ur biometric takes precedence. More so, online application can be processed anywhere in the world.

I applied for CAQ march 19th got their email that my application has been approved on 18th of April and a copy has been mailed to my address(I used home address as mailing address). it's been 3weeks now and have not received it.

My questions
1. How many days after approval did you get your mailed CAQ? Did you use home address or office address?

2. I know one can apply for TRV with the email copy of CAQ. but at the point of entry to Canada will they request for original copy?

3. Finished NYSC 2017 MAY. started working early march 2018. And I'm only submitting employment letter and ID CARD. Is that OK?

4. I have less than 50k in my personal SOA should I submit it or just go with my sponsors SOA?

Please help me address all this issue. I'm submitting my TRV this week.

Hey man, you have to relax got my CAQ approval April 7th and I applied April 9th just got my CAQ delivered yesterday so it might take up to a month before the delivery.

My case...
Applied to four universities last year, was about chasing express entry when Concordia University gave me admission few days ago.

Paid $250 acceptance fee and realised I had to apply for CAQ which I did the following day.

Already sent the documents back to Quebec on Friday.

I am just confused here, Quebec said my details will be sent to vfs Lagos before I can apply for study permit.

Can I still use the online route to apply for the permit after being given CAQ?

CAQ takes 20 working days after document reception in Quebec, so relax. You can apply via online or paper route the choice is yours, just make sure you attached the photocopy of the CAQ that will be sent to u, through ur mail.

It's an advice you can either reject or take it. I think the advice he gave you is very reasonable. Just for you to be on a safer side. I advise you to follow it.

Im not afraid of telling them, if truly I was denied. That can't and won't affect my application. God's grace.

If South Africa VO is denying VISA, they state the reason for such in a separate sheet. In my case they didn't give any reason. Why would I say it's refusal when I have everything to proof myself.

Please the gurus, lets comment on this post. If someone could submit evidence of tuition payments running to 23,716CAD with evidence of 12K CAD as living expenses and he was still denied on ground of insufficient fund.

This is my second refusal. The first was based on recent lump sum in my uncle's account who I used as Co sponsor and the second reason was based on my main sponsor NDDC leaving scholars stranded abroad.
NDDC has paid my full tuition(23,716cad) and has deposited 16,284cad as my upkeep.

In this second application I submitted school fees reciept, evidence of money being deposited in my Canadian account and I also added my Nigerian SOA with a closing balance approximately 12kcad.
I am geological sciences graduate and I hold an offer from memorial university to study oil and gas engineering.
I have been working as an assistant geophysicist after I finished my NYSC.

I seriously need help from the house to decipher what the VO was really looking for and I will love to address all that again in my SOP,

Perhaps, @Aallizzwellwole only moved the money into the account and moved it out few days later, just to print a statement for submission.

Are you sure about this? Well, I haven't come across such before and haven't seen an applicant that was accused of submitting a fraudulent statement that scaled through. Most of them were given a straight up 5 years ban.

That's not true, what matters is the stamp and so far the first and the last page has been duly stamped, because bank also use ordinary A4 paper sometimes

Please house, am a bit confused. My sponsor printed SOA from Internet banking of which he directed me to his bank to get it stamped. Actually the statement is voluminous so the bank officer just stamped and endorsed the 1st,some middle and last page. On coming home a friend told me that the statement printed on A4 and from Internet doesn't hold water. He also said it supposed to be on that computer paper like that one waec uses to send an entire school results and that it would be stamped page by page. Please how true is this. Is this a bank statement from a Canadian bank?. If yes. No worries, visa officers believes more on Canadian bank statement than a Nigerian bank. I know of an applicant that submitted his application last year without a bank statement from Canada, but included a reference letter from the bank stating how much the sponsor (the brother) has in the account and CIC accepted it.
So, no worries okay!

Thanks boss, I applied via paper route. The bank letter of introduction was also sent to me by email, but the bank officer phone number is well stated on both documents

Did you apply through online or paper route?
If online route no worries here, just that the official bank stamps won't appear on your statement as usual, but thanks to the bank reference letter you included it will go far in addressing this. if paper route, what is required of you is originals of bank statement and not a soft copy statement, I know fully well that the VFS workers wouldn't have allowed you to submit such with your application. So, I guess you applied online.
All in all, you have submitted your application let the will of the visa officers be done, if a visa officer is not satisfied with the type of statement you submitted, they might request for another bank statement from you. Therefore, all hands crossed and lets hope for a positive outcome on your application. Be optimistic okay!!

You are very correct UoT is rated as 14th best University in the world, and as such you should expect the competition will be very high, but with your cgpa 4/4 I beg try make a call to the supervisor moreso you might want to try other premier universities like Alberta UoBC, McGill etc.

Pls chief, just want to know, I applied with a bank statement of account in Canada running to 30k CAD with my Tuition paid. The statement of account I got from my bank was not original statement as it was sent through my mail like around 2nd of February,
also the bank letter of introduction was sent through email, not original and I applied for my Visa on 09th April. What do you guys suggest

Walk straight to your bank and request for this letter and it will be issued to you within a couple of minutes, let them know it's for visa application.

A Bank reference letter is a letter addressed to the consular officer of Canada, introducing you as their customer, the date and day you opened the account with the bank, your home/office address, for how long you have been running this account with them, attesting that you're indeed a good customer to the bank blah blah etc...

A signature from the Authorized managers of the bank will suffice at the end left and right side of the reference letter.
The letter should be addressed to this address :

@kingfintan University in Canada takes 2.2 don't let anyone confuse you. My friend is doing her masters in University of Ontario with 2.2 so brace up and submit your application. Just that you may not be able to get a research funded Master, and most likely probably a Meng or Masc instead of MSC.

Going for a second degree on your discipline in Canada shows no logical progression. If you think an SOP can conquer this, then go ahead and present a rational explanation to why you opted out for a second degree instead of a PGD.
But to be frank with you, most of this visa officers don't believe what is on your SOP when it comes to a case like yours, most especially when they have gone through your file entirety and find out that you already acquired a first degree. Whatsoever reason you present on your SOP will be unreasonable to them and will immediately conclude that you're not a bona-fide applicant that will leave Canada, even people with strong academic progression are still battling to be approved of their visas, talk more of a person that already has a degree and going for a second degree in Canada. What will be the person fate?

My advice!!!.....Don't put your application at risk. Google more, you might find a course that is directly related to your previous studies for a PGD.

I tot as much because when I was issued my payment receipt at vfs, my tracking is CALA... so its obvious it will be process in Lagos. Because my previous application which was refused last year was with tracking number CAGHA...

It will be very good if you show court document stating the transfer of property upon dad's demise. That is a very thick hometie for you! Siblings' birth certificates might be just 30%.
