IslamRe: Moslems And Life After Death by ayinba1(f): 3:40pm On Jul 30, 2008
@Deepzone,

You need not tell  us that you have "few" aunts and uncles that are muslims; we already knew. I

can bet that you are one of those "used to be a muslim" kind. You are always welcome back to

Islam, However, you need to work on ability to focus.

Don't you think you are jumping from issue to issue?

I would like for us to exhaustively answer one question for you before you bring up the next. That

way you can actually learn something.

IslamRe: What Religion Did The People Of Arabia Practise Before Islam? by ayinba1(f): 6:02pm On Jul 29, 2008
Sorry to answer the question, the people of Arabia practised idolatory or paganism.

Quit drooling over the use of the name Allah before the coming of the prophet of Islam.

in Yorubaland, before we knew about xtianity or Islam, we called God, Olorun, Olodumare, eleda etc.

Today, calling God by those same names does not make you a pagan.

please put forth some better arguments
IslamRe: What Religion Did The People Of Arabia Practise Before Islam? by ayinba1(f): 6:00pm On Jul 29, 2008
Christ is God, God is christ, Hmnnnnnn

Okay Mr Xtian is same with Christ, a joint heir WITH christ,, Hmmmnnnnn

There is also Holy ghost or spirit,

Hmmnnn,,, the three is one and still joint heirs with Mr Xtian,

Ok technically, that is four but it;s ok since 1+1+1 =1,

then the trinity 3 + 1 joint heirdom can also = 1

Hmmnnnn, tskk, tskkk, (chews on pen)

Perfect, equation balance.
IslamRe: Moslems And Life After Death by ayinba1(f): 5:54pm On Jul 29, 2008
@deepzone,

Are u sure about not hatinghuh   grin

It's a lot cooler than you can imagine.

Saying that you have never met an Ibo muslim does not negate the existence of many. What difference will it make to

you or your beliefs? Are Ibos your yardstick of true religion? I assume that you are Yoruba. You need to set your

priorities straight.

I mean what do we gain from telling you a lie about some muslims coming from the Ibo tribe?
IslamRe: Islam And Terrorist by ayinba1(f): 4:22pm On Jul 29, 2008
@littleb, samba, babs and ola

May Almighty Allah continue to bless you all

@poster

Your question is on spot. This is because, if a society is good, it is because of the musllims, and if it is bad, it is the muslims.

Allah has perfected our religion for us, so , yes we have the tools to tackle every ill of society. What is described as

terror/terrorism today is constantly being linked to Isalm. The first step to understanding the answer is to disabuse your

mind that terror acts are Islamic. Muslims understand the rules of warfare. howver "terror" on the news today follow

neither Quranic injunctions nor reported practices of Prophet Mohammed (SAW).

By practising Islam the way the Prophet did, we solve the terror problem by more than 90%.

However, when the current "junta" continues to harass (intimidate, imprison, ridicule, oppress etc (you know the list)

muslims that have no connection to terror events), and discriminate against people simply because they are muslims,

where will you find the muslims to effect a change?

Take Britain as a case in study, as soon as they started to work with muslims, they have foiled more than one terror

attempts. Other wise societies are taking a cue from the Brits.

For a lady , you sound post weird. One would never have guessed.

PoliticsRe: More Than Half Of Nigerians Are Poor - Jonathan by ayinba1(f): 3:24pm On Jul 29, 2008
@Uju,

Absolutely right. Just what I was saying. "The poverty level is only in their/our heads."

You know like the one guy that said, "if people are not picking from the garbage dumps to eat, then they are not poor"

Ooops sorry, some do that already in Nigeria
IslamRe: Why Are Yoruba Moslems Considered Inferior To Hausa Moslems? by ayinba1(f): 3:28am On Jul 29, 2008
@cold

let us agree with your opinion for the sake of "argument" Are the Hausas the determinant of who enters Paradise? If

you know the answer to this question, it might allay your troubled mind.

To the Yoruba or any other muslim, it is how they are regarded in the sight of Allah that is paramount.

Racism, tribalism, nepotism are ills of society that plagues the world,these arethings that Allah warns us about in

the Quran. People still practice it be they Xtian, muslims or atheist, why they do? you'll have to ask the one practising it.
IslamRe: Why Are Yoruba Moslems Considered Inferior To Hausa Moslems? by ayinba1(f): 12:38pm On Jul 28, 2008
You seem to know so much about muslims in Nigeria, yet you fail to realise/acknowledge that almost yearly,our fasting

start dates and Eid days are different. This means that we do no wait on the Sultan's announcement, kapish

See this is why I say that your argument is totally flawed and the more you post, the more obviuos it gets.

It is okay to join a discussion but you need to have your facts.

yes the Sultan can refuse to acknowledge that the moon was sighted in Lagos/Oshun or by a Yoruba person, that is him

exercising his freedom , that is not Islam.

And because I can exercise my own freedom too, to worship Allah, if the moon was sighted in Kosovo, IjebuOde,

Katsina, Abakaliki or USA, I am obliged to act based on that. if the person that claimed to sight the moon falsified it, it is

on him/her. It is really a non - issue for true muslims.

I hope you are learning something from these posts because I see that you do not know about some of the things that

you post.

And I suspect that with your show of half knowledge, you are probably a muslim's child and even if you are not,

welcome to the fold. I assure you that  Insha Allah you will be blessed and successful
IslamRe: Why Are Yoruba Moslems Considered Inferior To Hausa Moslems? by ayinba1(f): 11:57am On Jul 28, 2008
@cold huh huh

Re- articulate. your argument is flawed. Separate mosqueshuh? is a meter for inferiority complexhuh

How about other non muslims in the North who choose to claim to beeing Hausa for safety, business and political reasons?

Have you even everlived in the North?

Can you back up your claims??
PoliticsRe: Yar'adua Is A Disaster In Waiting by ayinba1(f): 11:51am On Jul 28, 2008
At first, I thought that 'let's give this guy a chance, everyone deserves one".But I may jusst have to agree with the post above. the reason is simply LAGOS. If i had not seen any changes at all in Lagos,i would have continued to say "Oh let's be patient". But with Lagos,I know change is indeed possible in a reasonable time frame.

Lagos Ibadan expressway is a federal highway, right?

It was worse than when I left Nigeria.
And Yaradua heads NNPC, for a while there,I had to decode that this was the president's brother.

As for me,i'mnot expecting anything fromhim. It's SDDS

I served (NYSC---hopefully, you know what that means) in Ebonyi state, you hear. From your last post, I can

tell that you have NEVER stepped out of your village.

I cease to respond to you because you will not find "palava" here. That is what you are looking for. You will

find it elsewhere, have fun.
IslamRe: Why Are Yoruba Moslems Considered Inferior To Hausa Moslems? by ayinba1(f): 8:50pm On Jul 27, 2008
I do not know what caliber of "moslems" you associate with. American muslims are not regarded

as "hypocrites or unserious". I live in America, Please visit youtube and search for American Muslims. You will

have an idea. Again, I answered your question, the only criteria is "level of piety" Only Allah knows who is

better.

But of course, you may not really be interested in the truth.

Visit Afikpo in Ebonyi state and tell me the number of muslims in "infinitesimal".

The choice is yours

Saammie, good thinking there, positive energy. I absolutely agree with you.

When you think like that, it has a positive impact on your personal life and your outlook on life.

It is indeed possible to make a change.

One member of the senate (+/- support) proposed a bill to reduce/ eliminate travels by govt officials to get

healthcare in foreign countries. The bill was voted down overwhelmingly but you know what, such a guy

gives me and a million others hope.

He at least made a move to improve healthcare delivery in Nigeria. The issue will bw revisited,

Yes the bad ones are in the majority but with persistence, we can change the game plan

PoliticsRe: More Than Half Of Nigerians Are Poor - Jonathan by ayinba1(f): 4:47pm On Jul 27, 2008
Oh well, I’m replying to this post at work.
I mulled it over in my mind and I just can’t get past it.

“Is it my fault that some people are poor, I mean really am I to blame that my dad is the Minster for transportation or that my uncle is the guv of Oshun state? Seriously should I feel bad that I was born better?

Huh!!!
All these poor people, please live with it. Just pray for us, your leaders.

I mean seriously, do you think that I should feel bad that I can shop at Macy’s and not need to do any work while being an international student on Nigerian govt scholarship; mind you my tuition (or what you call school fees) is three times what an  American pays (by taking loans); even though my dad makes millions yearly ( I mean dollars) for doing next to nothing?

Aw please give me a break. All these poor Nigerians, how would it be if they could walk into the same store that I shop to buy things? Ludicrous, I tell ya. Disrespectful. I mean , we gotta have class. Hmmn

So listen to your pastors and continue to pray for us your leaders (and effectively their offsprings). Don’t make any changes and if someone suggests it, just talk the person down.

Feel free to believe those whiteys that say you cannot govern yourselves, (we know better) that way you’ve got no impetus to make any changes anyhooo.

Meanwhile, me and Abdulsalam’s, Audu (Kogi state ex) and Nasco’s daughters will be hooking up at the next Vogue fashion show in Paris””””

B4 you crucify me, I am only a mind reader. Ayinba1 is a hardworking mom, no, I am not related to anyone in government.

Thanks   grin
TravelRe: Railway Project! What Happened? by ayinba1(f): 1:59pm On Jul 27, 2008
Please let us laud those who can even consider returning to Nigeria to make changes. It is only the brave

of heart that can do that. Encouragement and support is what we need to give each other and not

continous pessimism.

Young Nigerians, we can break the vicious cycle only if we try. There are one or two people out there that

are doing good for Nigeria in Nigeria, if one or two more join them, things will change. We can no longer sit

on the fence.
IslamRe: Why Are Yoruba Moslems Considered Inferior To Hausa Moslems? by ayinba1(f): 11:51am On Jul 27, 2008
Totally unIslamic, Pure tribalism.

If you find any muslim saying another one is inferior for whatever reasons, that muslim is going against the tenets of Islam.

Allah rates us all based on our piety and this is known only to Him.

If you really want to know about Islam, read the Quran.
