Nucular wetin? Abeg this one pass joke. ![]() |
Jesus (AS) was a Jew. I hope this helps. He spoke Aramaic, the language of the common people then. So his skin color may have been a more mideastern tone. I agree with you that his message should be more important than his skin color. |
@davidylan I hope you note how quick you are to throw the first punch. My post was addressed to May Kelly. And thank you for defining begotten, it is a physical act (defn: 1). Completely distasteful to ascribe such to God. Because you are a disbeliever, it is difficult for you to accept that the birth of Prophet Isa (AS) was a miracle. Allah said "Be" and he was. You have to invent a human explanation for the birth of Jesus. There, you nailed your own coffin. ![]() |
@May Kelly Sista, could you look up the meaning of begotten? Up to date christian scholars have dropped this word from the verse that you quoted. just a heads up. |
@Don--- No this is not good and I hope it does not continue. I do not know where you are based but you understand that this could affect you. A criminal is not ROMANTIC. A criminal will not do anything good. People that you consider ordinary may also be kidnapped if the trend continues. So please, condemn it and pray folr better news out of the country. |
I agree with the poster who said no one is born gay. This has always been my stand on it, I think one of the most ridiculous things I have heard is someone comparing being gay to being black. Sadly, here in the US, some try to use it in their fight for Gay rights. God save whoever comes at me with such a statement. Again, it is a choice that you make, If society permits it, then it becomes more widespread simply because it is acceptable. It is something that is disliked by our Creator and that is our stand on it. If we begin to term stealing, Kleptomaniac, (as we already do) a diagnosis can be made as well as an argument for it which will increase the number of petty thieves in the society. @islamway No need for your post and language, seriously, Totally uncalled for. |
@Scantee My prayers are with you. DO not cease to call unto the Lord Almighty and keep abreast of news and stay safe. Also let us know how things are going. @abdurrazaq Kudos for taking time to check this story out |
@David abiiko, i will always remind you to cease and desist from your disruptive ways.you always manage to ruin any conversation you join. Everyone knows you. keep yawning, enu e lo wa. |
@davidylan, Glad u got the message before it was deleted. Contrary to what you stated, I do not hate you. there is no room for hate in my heart. But you need to examine yourself. And again, wherever you seek to wreck havoc, I will do all I can in my power to stop u |
@javalove, javaprince. Salam alaykum, May Allah continue to be our guide. Recently, for the most part, I have only observed but I can tell you some names, actually, a given person , who continues to do this blasphemy against Islam. He goes by davidylan,dawi,4him and a host of other user IDs. He has been banned mulitple times so I really cannot tell how many more IDs he has. Most of the rest basically just follow his direction (auzhubiLLAh), Of note is his infamy at causing problems on any thread regardless of the topic (religion and others). Yes we will be patient as muslims but if the need arises, we should respond appropriately to the evildoers. I do not tend to generalize on the Christians because some of them are really peace loving (as Allah describes some people of the book). Allah is our strenght. We are indeed blessed (and I mean blessed) to be muslims. Peace to all |
I feel your pain and pray to Almighty God to give you strenght to get through this period. Remember to stay firm and true to God because even though the church officials have behaved this way, God will continue to stand by you. Pele o. |
@all 100 words , eh ![]() |
@Olabowale. Assalam alaikum. I did not get the YIM, Chloe is not a valid user ID, ayinba should work. Thank you for all your wonderful contributions |
Are u serious? |
Funny one |
Really sad and shameful. I doubt if there are any child protection laws in Nigeria |
@hr it happens though ![]() |
Muscles tense, he grunts. Tears fill his eyes. Making no sound, he starts over. Taking deep breaths in and out, he pushes again bringing more tears to his eyes. A knock on the door. “Oh gosh”, he swears. He knocked back on the door and whoever had knocked departed. Sweating profusely, his muscles tense again. This time he pushes much harder. “Thunk” and a huge sigh of relief. He gets up and looks into the bowl. “Dang, I gotta eat my veggies” He pulls the handle down and watches in horror as the bowl filled over and spilled its contents. |
I beg to differ on the issue of hereditary traits of schizophrenia. Please talk to a psychiatrist so that you can know what to expect. Good luck |
I served in Ebonyi state ('99) and I believe Sam Egwu was the guv then. How come he is still the guvnor? No other people in the state ![]() |
@quickygirl that name shuo ![]() Actually, those guys look deep in thought. ![]() And too dark to be nigerians |
Assalam alaikum sis, Welcome on board. May Allah continue to be our strenght. And I say "Me too" |
Assalam alaykum all, Thank you for your wonderful responses. I have advised her in similar ways but since I don't live with them, I cannot assess if she has tried enough or not. There is also the issue of keeping things to herself fearing sin of "gossiping". I advise patience to see how things play out but another question is what is the implication on the wife and kids if a man owes a lot of debt that he cannot pay? And are there other brothers on this forum who do business like the said gentleman? From the little I know, it is unIslamic but then how much do I know? |
@Sisikill, Ariblaze Thanks @All Keep up the good work. @David Apology accepted but we are all waiting |
She read the scraggly note again. ‘You don’t fool me, we need to talk” Signed Segun Baba Segun, she sighed. She had been expecting him. “Let him in” she said. “Yes, Mrs President” said the orderly. He walks in and she gestures him to sit. Once alone, “Drinks?” she asks. “Sure, why not”, he answers. She pours him a drink. A moment later, “I know why you are here and that wine was your last” “But, my lawyer…, ”, he stutters already turning blue in the face. “I took care of him too” she answers. “This stuff works fast” she smiled. |
Assalam alaikum brothers and sisters in Islam, I have a question about divorce. If a woman knows that her husband lies and is not honest in his dealings with his customers, is this enough justification to leave him? To make it clearer, the husband takes money for a project from customer A then spends it all on something that could have waited. When customer A calls for his project, the husband spins a tale or two. That's about how much I know. I also sense that she may not love him as much as she thought she did. Thank you all |
Mutumba peeked through the shrubbery as the Wilkins headed straight for the limousine. “I swear I saw a black man” insisted Mrs Wilkins. “And that’s why we are leaving” Mr Wilkins answered. Mutumba’s voyage had lasted three weeks. Once the ship docked, he hid inside a transport crate and got out of the warehouse after dark quite easily. Three hours later, he was in the high brow Luchester region which boasted a hundred per cent white population. This was the third time he had outrun the men with the loud sounds and white lights. He smiled to himself “maa ye”. |
Francis shivered in the dark silence and checked his watch for time. He had prepared well, he thought, but not for cold like this. He could no longer hold his bottle of gin as it hurt to move at all. He smiled dreaming of the endless possibilities once he got there safely. Soon he was feeling warm all over and then he fell into an endless slumber. At the Heathrow airport, Kurt opened the wheel hub to perform routine maintenance. A long wrapped bundle fell out. He walked gingerly towards it and pulled away the wraps. “Holy smokes” He screamed |
I know David did not mean me when he said "bunch of overgrown kids" I bet he's due for an "ass whopping" To all who genuinely enjoy writing drabbles or anything else, remember that evil men succeed where good men fail. It is up to us all to smoke this 4him guy out of here. I am sure we all know him well-Davidylan,dawi, 4him and a bunchof other user IDs secondary to numerous bans. |
“Hmmmnn, Oh my God” she moans sinking her teeth once again into the warm, toasty piece. “ This is too good”. Tokoni watched from the corner of her eye thinking, “she’s going to choke on those one of these days”. Temisa drinks milk from a glass. “How’s that weight loss thing going?” she asks in between mouthfuls. Tokoni feigned a smile and said, “It’s going great, I’m on the Wister program now”. Inwardly she fumed. At 28, she measured 6 feet tall and weighed 300 pounds. Temisan, her twin sister, was 6 feet tall too but a paltry 165 pounds. |
Feels like forever but this I have to let you know. Then I had that dream that felt so real. You were there in a white garment and you turned away to leave, waving at me. I just sat there. Me? I just sat there and looked at you walk away. I never told anyone about his. How could I watch you walk away? I woke up and thought hard and long about it. Still I had no understanding. How many nights I prayed; candles, instructions, prayers and prayers again that this feeling end? It is supposed to be fun not wrenching and trepidating. And I knew it so I prayed. Even your mother could not understand it and she asked me that question that still plagues me today. I felt my prayers were not answered. Or maybe they were wrong to say in the first place. Remember how I would pretend to get mad at you and walk away only to turn back in a heartbeat? Sure you do. You always knew I would be back and I did not mind doing just that. Then came that one day, we were together again. It dawned on me then that I was trying to fill a basket with liquid. Then I walked away and you thought that I was coming back. You wanted to see me off, I declined. I know you thought I would be back and I am sure that you waited. But I never looked back, not even once. I walked straight, shoulders back, head held up high and straight to the beautician's. After this, I took a ride straight to the bus park, I did not look out the window to see if I'd catch a glimpse of you. I never looked back since then. I stopped loving you and still don't know why. THE END |
Inna lillahi wa inna ileyhi rajihuun. (Amin) Allahumma arham, fagfrili (Amin) Allahumma saluka Jannah (Amin) May Allah give his family fortitude and strenght . Amin |
