Salam alaykum all, On a serious note, I have a brother, 27 going on 28, Very eligible bachelor. Pleasee ooo make u no take all the sisters finish. I need one for my brother. Thank you for considering my "on behalf" application, Ma salam email ayinba@yahoo.com |
rampant,sorry o, no need to degenerate into insult ur post tells me that I am older than u. all I did was tell u to check a thread out. take it easy, ok |
r u kidding me. |
@rampant Do I recall someone calling you a "she" and suddenly your profile says "m". Okay that aside, christians do not commit sins, good for you. You do not owe us muslims any answer on the christian thread, you owe your fellow xtians. Check out Lady vs pator David on the abolishment of the 10 commandments. Classic! yeye! |
@Samba Thank you for your patience in explaining David, I thinklhe's about to start bawling like the baby that he is. @David, pele o, but then Samba gave a concise presentation of "you" and you just know it. I still invite you though, come to Islam, cmoe to peace and give your heart rest |
@reindeer reindeer:amazing how smart you think people are until they open their mouths (type a post). FYI: Islam is Not fiction, I do not expect you to agree but you need to know. |
@shallowzone I have to change your name with no apology as I see you do not even scratch the surface. DeepZone:So the Taliban is after you now, whatcha gonna do? Call on Jesus? Hmnnnn, that's not gonna save you, you know. Seriously, name calling is not gonna get you anywhere. And I second Brother Ola's suggestion concerning "cover". Try it |
No David You are a "smart" kid, Read the Quran if you really want to know. |
Welcome, brother Abdul Ganiy ![]() |
Surah 2 Baqara v 6-10 They apply to you and people like you. You are too "smart" for your own good. Everyone else is "foolish" to you. Remember again, "any one with even an atom of pride in his heart will not enter aljannah" I will not post verses from the Quran telling you what sin is, David, because you are really not interested. You just want to pick a fight. And please, ease up. Your typing is akin to "foaming at the (sides of) the mouth" Ko le to yen |
@David, Islamic glasses? shuo you don meet Fhemmmy b4? Please explain how the sabbath day was done away with and how Sunday was arrived at? |
@Deepzone, You should be because for most of the time, you are incoherent. Good day. Asking why Hausas eat Kola is not a "muslim/Islamic" question. I can tell you're just a kid. |
@wirinet ![]() |
@Verilee, Knock yourself out. ![]() |
Thank you. Your "these days" are totally different from mine. We live in different worlds. For me, more people are embracing Islam, more credible people. |
David, I will continue quoting Surah Baqara: 6. Surely those who reject Faith it being alike to them whether you warn them, or do not warn them they will not believe. 7 Allah has set a seal upon their hearts, and upon their hearing, and upon their sight is a veil; and for them is a great chastisement. 8 And of mankind there are some who say: We believe in Allah and in the Future Day, but they are not at all Believers. 9 Feign would they deceive Allah and those who believe. But they do not deceive any except themselves, and they do not perceive. 10 In their hearts is a disease, so Allah increased to them the disease, and for them is a painful punishment because they used to belie. And I recall clearly that you know about the Quran. If I start to post verses here that tell what sins are, it will take up a lot of space. The truth is if you read the Quran on your own (fear not, it does not bite), you will find verses talking about specifics; the worst of sins would be associating partners with Allah. No David, I will not be quoting any more verses for you since I know you are a smart kid and will see it only if Allah wills it. @thepops, Please continue to be afraid when you see a woman in hijab. Do you think anyone here is impressed that you are from a muslim background? Surprise though, your grandma never thought to hurt you or your parent? But then maybe she did for the mere fact that she is a muslim. And your uncles, cousins etc, I bet you shiver anytime you see them. Your case is “aja toma sonu, kaa gbo fere ode”. You are not really seeking solutions and you know it. Why don’t you profer one suggestion if you are indeed truthful. |
@Brother Ola Thank you for your contribution. Salaam |
I assumed that you knew what sin was but if you insist thatyoudonot know,I will make it short. It is anything you do (thought, speech, action) that is opposed to what Allah has commanded you to do. Or better put, it is to disobey Allah. Allah is Forgiver, Most forgiving. If you ask Him forgive you,He will, again and again and again. Quran 39:53] Say: "O my Servants who have transgressed against their souls! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah: for Allah forgives all sins: for He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. What was sent before Mohammed---Messengers, prophets and books. with a unique message of ONE GOD Well if the verses that tell you of the assurance (note the word) means nothing to you,I really am not sure whatyou want. |
I guess while Iambeing serious, you choose sarcasm. If you are sinless davidylan:then good for you. And what gives/gave you the impression that Muhammed(pbuh) was not sure of where he was going? This hadith is constantly quoted out of context. He made a statement to impress upon muslims that he is HUMAN so that no mistake will be made and people will not start to worship him after he is gone. To allay your doubts, I have added some verses from the Holy Quran.I hope it helps your understanding. Surah Baqara 1-6 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful 1. ALIF LAAM MIM 2. This is the Book; in it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear Allah 3. Who believe in the Unseen, are steadfast in prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them; 4. And who believe in the Revelation sent to thee, and sent before thy time, and (in their hearts) have the assurance of the Hereafter. 5. They are on (true) guidance, from their Lord, and it is these who will prosper |
@david I don't know if you are aware but Babs lost his dad. I am confident that he will respond to the topic as soon as he can. |
David, you know Ramadan is coming up. This is a perfect opportunity and time for you to revertto Islam. Can youimagine how much rewards you will gain from Allah? You will be like a brand newbaby free of sins. People may make it hard for you when you become a muslim but you have to keep your eyes on the goal--Aljannah. And fastingis really easy onceyou start and fullof somany rewards. Remember too that a person with "even a grain of pride in his heart will not enter aljannah" pride here means turning ones nose up at the truth(Allah,Prophets, Islam,Quran) I pray that Allah makes it easy for you (Amin) |
David, You seriously do not think my answer (see above)was incoherent.you may not like it though since I neither mentioned the bible nor the Xtians. Therefore I gave you nothing to bite into. What exactly are you looking for? I mean there are 3-4 responses up there and none makes sense to you?? |
David Daviiiid, Now open your eyes.When did Jayon become a muslim? I wasn't informed. but he/she is welcome anytime. And davidylan:But I already said that ![]() |
Islam refers to the bible so that you may understand. Do not for one second think that Islam or the Quran needs the Bible to stand. We refer to the bible so that you may understand. Even on nairaland,check out posts that talk to muslims alone (with no contamination from nosy ones like David - )Then tell me if the bible was used. My derbrother,open your heart. You know Islam is the truth.give your heart rest. Peace |
Bible strongly supports terror.That's all the post said. The original posted question has been answered. So much for you getting banned from this forum. |
@thepops The topic is Islam and terrorist. You have nothing to say to the above post? Are you going to deny that these verses came from the bible? If your answer is no, then you really have nothing to say. Now, when you and your cronies start to say that Islam supports "terror",then this is proof that Christianity based on these verses supports terror,barbarism and violence. There are no limits to what "God" allows you to do. While we don't argue that some of the "terror " acts today are committed by those who say they are muslims,we show you verses from the Quran that warn against what these people do. However because of your zeal to tarnish Islam, you refuse to see. Okay now, tell us about the verses above, I can just hear them say, "come on now,that's old testament" turn a page and God changes |
@omoawo, I looked for the topic too right after I posted a reply this am. Tx for the post |
If he was born in Nigeria, he is a Nigerian. Find better excuses to disqualify him than country of origis. AHs |
Kunle , what is the first commandment? I'm only asking because your post seems to imply that you worship Jesus. |
I think it is time to contribute on a personal level. My father retired from civil service about 10 years ago. He was a hardworking, dedicated and honest employee. He made very good plans for his retirement, you see but I think the best plan was giving us the best education he could with resources he had and could borrow ( we are very good garri drinkers and we are not Ijebu) These days, my dad is fine thank God but hearing that his "pension" was delayed is no longer news. Months and months of delay. I think it is a grave insult to blame poverty on laziness. I have known people that have worked extremely hard all their lives but the system has not helped them. Do you know how much a serious illness can set you back financially in Nigeria if you have no connections? You probably don't Yes, there will be the poor and the rich in every society but even the poor deserve some dignity and hope. @uju, kobo is the smaller denominator of the Nigerian currency(Naira), we used to spend it in the past but I doubt that you can use it for much these days. So kobojunkie sounds pretty patriotic to me. No more fighting please |
![]() Quran knowledge is not meant for show off. There is a thread for "favorite ayah/surah" But of course, you didn't know that. What exactly is your purpose with this topic? |
"@Kobojunkie Stop! I say stop already! You read my post. If I am not poor, how can I be expected to understand "POVERTY" Damnnniittt (scuse ma french). Is it my fault if I do not understand it? What is wrong with all these Nigerians that have no connections? Is it my fault that you are not given (or related to a person given) a yummy spot in the current government? You gotta see it MY WAY. Once you have a cell phone, you are definitely not poor especially if you can "flash" someone, OMG, you are soooo rich And what about when you get sick, you wake up really early and arrive at the general hospital and "pray" that you can be seen by a doctor maybe after a 10 hour wait. Never mind that Nigeria has resources that could purchase Libya, yet the average Libyan has a better quality of life, nooooo, ignore that because I say so. And why should you have a car or bike, it's a luxury ke, and electricity to power your fan, ridiculous! I mean, imagine everyone having a car, goodness, that would be real pollution, seriously. Yeah, I know the molues cause pollution too but you Nigerians are already used to it, Quit bitching and accept it like it is. The stats say it all. "it's in your heads" ![]() @trying to lighten things up here. The above are not my words oh |
