All these English managers are only good for mid/bottom table teams. Besides no English manager (except sir Ferguson) hv carried d epl in recent history. I still believe that caretaker manager who played against Liverpool would hv done better than lampard.

Lol! Sir Alex is not even English. He is Scottish.

In french it means "a click, a bend". Funny how we misinterpret another language.

It literally means, "the click, the bend." "La" is a definite article in French.
Business / Re: Tax In Nigeria: How Is It Calculated? by Ayobami93(m): 10:53pm On Jan 11, 2021
thebosstrevor1:

I never wrote about vat.

30% tax was for all business inrespective of size before.

Now some companies are exempted from paying company income tax in the new finance bill.

If your turnover is less than 25million, you don't have to file company income tax.

You will have to file for CIT but the CIT liability will be nil if the turnover is below N25m, otherwise you will be charged for late submission penalty for accounts.

Ok, cos I really know that this multiple taxations from all facets is not healthy for economic development

You are right though but the government are just trying to get money in all possible ways to fund their high expenditures. This will definitely affect the average Nigerians badly. However, I hope the economy will return to normal at least by early next year.

So what happens to the bottom 3 teams ?? Relegate them when they still have a chance of survival ?? It won't make any sense. The season must be completed or cancelled.

Deji Adeleke's father was one of the first Nigerian Architects and Engineer , and he single handedly started the dredging and construction of Banana island which military government fraudulently claimed from him, he went to court and won stupendous money in settlements and he and his family became super rich.. his wealth reflected on his children, Dr Deji, Sen Isiaka, and Sen Ademola .. Deji went into engineering like his father and founded Pacific holding which got many contracts from Government, International Oil Company and religious bodies like Babcock/Adventist.. his wealth skyrocketed when he smartly invested in the Nigerian power sector supplying atleast 1500 MGW to the national grid and getting paid

Deji Adeleke's father was Raji Ayoola Adeleke. A senator in the First Republic.

Hope the interview is not as soon as November? Because you still have a lot of loopholes to cover up. Ain't a guru but I know when you are getting it wrong from personal experience garnered so far.

I know others will also contribute, but take this little piece along with what ever they add.

What happened to Why USA?

Why Nursing?

Also, the response to the question, "What's your study plan?" You are not to even say "depending on my GPA", who says that? I mean the VO might not wait for another second before handing over the blue paper to you. It definitely shows you ain't brilliant enough to study Medicine or whichever course it could be. Haba!! You must be convincing enough to show you are gonna make it top of the class, which I believe you can.

Also, how dare you say "depending on my guardian's opinion" ? If you can graduate top of the class, then you need not ask for your guardian's consent to continue, s/he will be glad to give his/her best to ensure you continue your studies, although I may not be fully right with this, but that remains my own opinion.

Why did you choose Baltimore?
Uhmmmm, any reputable institution will do what you just mentioned, I have seen several times 100kobo and Lagosismyhome, mentioning that you should try to be program specific when giving reasons for choosing a particular school. It shows you have done your research.

When did you finish secondary school?
Don't mention your parents' inability to make available what you think you need to succeed academically, that doesn't sound right to me, although it's a personal decision. But when did you write your A level exams? Will you be presenting it at the interview? Then, it means you were working at your uncle's hospital, spending some time to learn the basics of Nursing before taking your A level prior to applying to a school in the US. Isn't it?

Vo: So you intend going for an associate degree then you will transfer ?
Me: Yes sir

This last statement counters what you mentioned earlier, as you said you are not sure of your next move after graduation.
So, you need to be careful of what your responses as VOs try to play pranks on interviewees.

I ask again, hope you ain't going for the interview as soon as November, if yes, you need a lot of reformation and practice to get the visa issued, well, I just remembered you never mentioned "Who will be sponsoring you?

Success. I long to see your visa issued transcript.

Please I need your help. What's the best way to answer the study plan question?

Different things can mak him lose interest, but whatever it is, when you notice he's no longer into you, have some self pride and move him.
If he ignores you, ignore him.

Just wanted to get this off my system. Ayobami God punish you for doing this to me, after everything, now you want out. Smh.

Are you playing to join the force? Interrogation tinz grin

As for the OP, there's no way you go that you won't see mathematics. Instead of running from something, just face it head on. Just have interest and you'll grasp it easily.

Yeah, I would love to join a law enforcement agency.

Criminology is an interesting course, its all abt the study of crime, criminals nd their behavior so as to what motivate people to commit crime in the society. In effect criminology, criminology is a multi-disciplinary frame work from whose focus is dominated by crime nd justice.Criminology is a recent development, the term criminology was coined by an italian law professor called Raffale Garofalo as criminologia nd used by a french anthropologist Paul Topinard(criminologie in 1887). Criminology kind of emerged through sociology, its like a combination of sociology nd law.

That's interesting. Thanks for taking your time to explain it. I'm considering it for MSC.

Lets even assume the VO did not detect, you plan to travel to the US to be studying online? How do you even want to do it because I just cant phantom this scenerio of getting a visa for an online course. Don't be in a hurry to leave Nigeria, make proper planning. Just forget about going to the embasy with that i20.

It's not my plan to study an online course in the US. I just made a mistake not detecting on time. I've applied for a classroom-based course elsewhere. Bless.

International students are not allowed to study an online program in the US, so, your plan is out of it. In addition, international students are allowed to take only a maximum of one online class from twelve credits.

Thanks a lot for the advice bro, I've applied to another university.
