rottennaija: Yes I agree with research even before I quoted you, yet I don't think it should be this year or even next. But it's just to have an idea of the market feasibility maybe in Western Africa. RTSC: I had my reasons for saying that. The world won't switch to electric cars tomorrow, Tesla has been 17years in the game with an enabling govt more than that which the Nigerian system provides. It just reached it's highest stock value in June 2020. While it's popularity is steadily soaring, the Toyota Camry alone sold the same amount of cars in 2019 with Tesla about 336k. Tesla has worked on it's niche for 18 years and it's just starting to bear fruits , switching to electric cars is good but if innoson tries it now he will take a heavy loss, because the company will lose focus on it's vision. A successful company is more than rolling out good products. Dangote tried it with the tomato paste factory, he had his fingers burnt, but Gino that has been in the game and not half as rich as dangote are still in the market Innoson needs to continue growing IVM and it's reputation for at LEAST 3 - 5 years before he can start phasing out electric cars. Daimler motors the automobile giant, are gently rolling out electric cars and it's not mainstream yet. Plus we have not discussed the Nigerian Market PESTEL analysis factors yet. These are some offhand factors why I think so, but research is good, at least to get the lay of the land. |

rottennaija: That's a wrong business You can't diversify into electric cars in a country that can't boast of electricity. The most needed resource electricity is not available. 7 Likes |

I'll say this from my experience drunk driving kills more often than we think, the driver thinks he is in control of the car, 99% of the time it's a force of habit that's driving. Grace saved me that day. Some mistakes one can't come back from RIP to the deceased 113 Likes 4 Shares |

Politics / Re: Galaxy Backbone: Clauses Conceding Nigeria's Sovereignty To China Uncovered by Ayt27(m): 12:31pm On Jul 29, 2020 |
I made a comment yesterday about not trusting the Chinaman or "Chinks" and a know it all labelled me racist and dumb. I guess he doesn't much know about the Chinese. From books like 33 strategies of war, 48 laws of power and The art of war. You will understand the craftiness and subtletly of the Chinaman's action and way of thinking, They practice very trojanesque type of warfare. I still have that reservation that China attacked the US with corona because of Trump's policy, packaged it in such a way that one can't call it warfare, esp when there are casualties on both sides. Thank God somebody read the agreement and pointed out the sovereignty clause so that our selfish leaders don't sell us. I'll always prefer the Japs, with them it's Death before Dishonor. 78 Likes 14 Shares |

A win for Nigeria, at least there's one Nigerian with integrity. I don't trust Uncle Sam I don't trust the Chinaman too But I'd rather trust Uncle Sam than those ravenous Chinamen. Modified: Nairalanders can read, a few more can write , others practice zeal without wisdom, but most have a problem with comprehension, the basic act of understanding the meaning within a context and that's why sarcasm, satires, puns etc sound tasteless to them. It's best not to engage with people like this, a logical point of view seems to clash with theirs or eludes them, they are quite rigid too , they tend to verbally attack your emotional, mental state on a debate that has nothing to do with either. Heck they probably think debate means bitter argument. It's just not worth it, these are some of their red flags, there may be others I may have not noticed. What about the rest of the Nairalanders, well the rest are worth their weight in gold. I think my most agreeable conclusion would be it's legitimately true that the empty vessels makes the loudest noise. 7 Likes |
Crime / Re: Kiki Mordi Accused Of Threatening Seyitan, D’banj’s Rape Accuser by Ayt27(m): 12:21am On Jul 26, 2020 |
philip0906: This izu guy was accused of rape, he's my brother friend they went to KC together, they talk quite regularly. The mistake he made was making his phone number public because he wanted whomever was accusing him to reach out, he had no idea who the person accusing him was, but he's phone started blowing up with threats and cyber bullying messages. A day before the accusations came out he had been threatened by some black guys on Florida cos of his car, with guns and he was pretty shaken, I guess that cummulated to him offing himself, the guy no do parole with the girl again after him bounce am and she was been vindictive. Oh yeah non-physical assault probably means they joined Bull and Shit together to form one word. I guess in 2020 you can assault someone without been physical. I told my friend this night there are a lot of weak men amongst us and fvcking social media carries a big part of that like some simps above you. We must never underestimate the power of stupid people in large crowds, they'll fvck everything up and this is what social media has been doing. 19 Likes 2 Shares |

This is a great development A major part of the prosperity of Europe was surrounded by functioning factories, so much that it was dubbed the industrial revolution. Germany aftemath of the war built up it's strength with factories, it is a manufacturing powerhouse today. Shows like How it is made and Extreme Engineering attest to that. I somewhat weep for our country, we are moving at a snail's pace, we have been left behind. Our country is similar to a child born with a silver spoon, the abundance of resources makes him a spendthrift, makes him weak and can scarcely fashion a man out of him, he will always have friends, relatives and strangers who want to have a piece of his (National) cake and they will never steer him in the right direction except those who rarely have his genuine interests, how then does our boy know who has his interests at heart? Oh Nigeria my country! How I wish a government is not a reflection of it's society. Regardless, we are moving. 45 Likes 6 Shares |
