DarkJeddi:Even a Mad man believes his DELUSIONS,that doesn't make it REAL..to the onlooker yet this madman is willing to lose his life for these delusions. I think a man who is willing to die for a cause either religion, honor, faith, delusions, freedom etc man has already won by giving the ultimate. He can't be killed if he his willing to offer his life for his cause. No one is special, the only thing that can make any worshipper's faith special is if that particular worshipper's faith has been beyond doubt proven to be the Truth. And that's where the contention lies, whose Faith will be proven as the truth? I say Jesus, some say Islam, others Hindu etc. I think the only problem of our madman is that if he gives his life for a cause and then finds out that his cause was a fraud, He has lost the most, but if his cause was the genuine then his sacrifice was not in vain. Yet few things are as admirable as a man willingly lay his life for something he believes in, delusions or not. |
DarkJeddi:Haha What man does not BELIEVE the things he has seen with his own eyes, heard with own ears and perceived in his own spirit? I'd like to meet such a man |
internationalman:My brother Jesus Christ is as real as the phone you are using to read this. He is a living being and he is a very cool guy. He also walked and worked on this Earth and he his still doing so. |
Bultwo:Numbers 6:1-3 1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When either man or woman shall separate themselves to vow a vow of a Nazarite, to separate themselves unto the Lord: 3 He(that man or woman) shall separate himself(herself) from wine and strong drink, and shall drink no vinegar of wine, or vinegar of strong drink, neither shall he drink any liquor of grapes, nor eat moist grapes, or dried If you read further down maybe to verse 5 you will see that the conditions for that vow. are no razor upon his head,no wine or strong wine,he will not come near anything unclean (such as a dead body even his father or mother who may have passed while he was still in the vow ). But after the days of his vow he is free to do these things i.e shave his head, drink wine and mourn his parents at their fear dead body. Your reference to Numbers 6:3 as a justification to not drinking, can best be defined as half-truths. Try and read that from a neutral point of view, just like you would read any comprehension passage and see if drinking of wine is forbidden. Half truths are dangerous, they can cost you heavily. |
Thenorrth:Please I would like to know your Truth. I'm a Christian and I believe in Jesus Christ as the truth. Being a Christian affords me freedom that other religions may not necessarily permit. For example As a true follower of Jesus I can eat any food from any source, if I receive the food with thanks and a word of prayer over it, but that does not mean I will go to places where I know sacrifices are being made and I go there to eat and say because I have freedom. Can you please highlight some of the truths you think the people quoting the guy above may be ignorant of. I come in peace |
Chef2000:The percularity and timing of the seizure may speak to something of a spiritual nature. But for a start I will recommend you use cannabis oil, have her take a two tea spoons before bed, it's been proven to be effective in neurological disorders. You can make more findings on this as well |
Kings rise, Kings fall Soldier go, soldier come Barracks remain the same. Only one is destined to be King for eternity And you know his name. |
nnamdiosu:This is Ayt27 from the other Charly thread, I read this. In retrospect I believe it was inspired. I think something that's stuck to me recently and your thread confirms it is that "Someone is always Watching" God is funny, different grace upon different men and I think that's what makes it the more beautiful. I have a question though about Micheal, she perceived he was ancient, yet by the books standard there were more angels older than him, probably even Lucifer for there was no need for warring angels, before "The really bad thing happened" Did she get that feeling from any other person? Is there any light you can shed as the author on what you think may be other plans for non-believers as I am also of the opinion that there it isn't damnation for them as we believers think. I always wasn't comfortable swearing on those Islamic threads before you comment. It just seemed off with me and I never did it, thank you for that light you shared. I felt encouraged and strengthened reading the book and to some extent it seemed like the book glorified the Lord, the perception of the book and the feelings the book gave speaks the same. Won't a book about Hell also have the same effect but in the opposite such as fear, anxiety et.c? This is a Masterpiece... You must truly be loved of the Lord |
nnamdiosu:Ah men! I'm always somewhat glad when I read your comment because I remembered your dream you shared way back about you telling the Lord "Fine boy", coz he's beards was all set and none was out of place and that feeling that he's like a big brother you'd trust more than your parents. I still think about that your dream till date. Ah! It's such an ecstacy to bask in when the Lord visits as a Lamb, I could relate 100. It had also confirmed what I had written down prior to reading that comment, even when he visits as a Lion you are still glad his presence is there. It's just this time you keep quiet, there's this reverential fear around you and you begin to wonder in your head is it not the same person that I was laughing with the last time, what changed? Then I understood why sometimes his disciples were usually afraid to ask him questions or they push John to ask. The Lion and the Lamb, a very simple yet complex way. I digress, I hope to read more of your comments, Thank you. |
NNEWIsuper:Yes one who isn't patient enough wouldn't understand that was the scenerio. Nigeria was definitely painted black in the press release and Trump's tweet. |
Nbotee:Yeah that was where I first heard Americans shoot everything in the room except the target. He lived a very full life It seems the Brits usually have long life span, guessing it's their obsession with tea. |
TheNoble007:Hello @TheNoble007 Can I please send you an email? |
zangaozanga:We reject a coup A coup will be the worst thing that can happen |
72 hours is up tomorrow |
Holpen:Hi Holpen, I just want to encourage you, the Lord. God will continue to fight for you. I have seen your growth, you were not entirely sure and a bit confused on steps to take, but now you are a lot more grounded. This thread Don't forget the sword of the spirit, it is quick and powerful, it pierces spirit and soul, joints and marrow. It's his word that will separate that wicked spirit from her body, Lastly, please do not stop being vigilant and always cover yourself with the blood of Jesus before bed. Well-done Holpen. |
Hammer2O19:A hit song is a song that will be evergreen, some are more green than others though. Ojuelegba by Wizkid is a hit song, He may have sang other wack songs but that song is a hit song |
michealdeco:I have noticed that's the new Nigerian trend now, any small thing......it will be automatically tied to a mental condition. Watch this table for the next 3 to 6 Months, na the new format be that. |
Nuttella:Nutella! |
Chef2000:Cannabis oil I believe helps with neural seizures, try it please. Google it's effect |
Esseite:This is very very correct |
Like meobizy said yesterday, I laugh in hieroglyphs |
meobizy:A lot of Nigerians are actually very shallow when we think, very very. That BBN is a pure data with which Data scientist can extract information about Nigerians. People that can't recognize clout chasing and start calling it "God answers your call". SMH and it's everywhere bro in offices, schools, NL and the public. They can't read btw the lines. That laugh in hieroglyphs got me lmao.....what would the hieroglyphics look like sef? |
Decolonel:My own too oo bro, But after I GENUINELY repented of my sins and gave started living Christ's life, now a very miniscule part of me sometimes wishes for death, make I go relax. It's the sins bro I know you have heard everything before, most Christians have, there are many gods, religions but if you want the real Truth, the real one, the original.... it's Jesus Christ and on that day you will see the deception and shame in the lies the devil has propagated to deceive men. Please accept Jesus Christ today |
Duggedised12:I don't completely agree with you even though I get perspective. Forgiveness is nullified if you don't grant the same access pre-offence. The forgiving action is the act that builds a broken bridge. But men! I completely get where you are coming from. |
So Nigerian leaders can get jittery too? I know if everybody is going to ban, China can never ever ban. |
Angelfrost:I get 90% of my BBN of threads like this and after a while you understand thst this show is a pool of raw data with which information can be gotten from on the pattern of thinking of majority of educated Nigerians. One should never ever ever underestimate stupid people in large groups, they'll run the whole herd off the cliff, it's really unfortunate. Just imagine a guy 1 that's chasing a skirt from day 1 till date beats a guy that is been chased by that same skirt, without any visible change in their current situation. It just shows you that the voters see themselves in guy one, typical traits of men that are yet to be enlightened in the matter of seduction and brain-bleeping. Even my youngest bro that's not up to 19 posted on his status he feels guy one was gonna be evicted, the poor boy has removed it from his status now because I guess he couldn't figure how he was wrong, he'll grow up thinking simping is the way, since society enables it. We are a dying breed man! |
KJV The old English just seems to capture the Majesty of the divine than other translations. One of my favorites is Job and Isaiah, it seemed to me like the divine just reveals how big he his, how glorious and to some extent bragging, but then I asked myself is it really bragging when to you all the beasts in Lebanon is not sufficient for a burnt offering or you tell the isles to keep silent because you want the people to come near you with their cause. KJV may seem harder than order translations but to me it's the translation that carries the Majesty of God. I'm not surprised though, it was written during a time of Kings and when their words were absolute, so it's makes sense to me when they capture a part of the essence of the King of kings. Even that phrase "King of kings" sef gets me thinking twice. |
