I don't think this is a 'one shoe fits all size' case... Some are happy doing productive things, some find happiness in their marriages, some find happiness in working hard.. While others may find do happiness lazy get around and indulging in youthful exuberance..
Still if you are not happy doing what you like, you'll turn out miserable.. Many people are unhappy in their marriages, but won't leave due to one reason or another, but it still doesn't remove the fact that they are miserable... That applies to jobs and general living... So It's not a must that you have to do what you hate in other not to be miserable..
Find happiness in doing what is productive and worth the while!

You don't need to stop.. Just because denominations have made the plan of God a joke due to their human inventions just for what their bellies, doest mean that the true church Christ established isn't on earth. Christ promised he will build His church in matt 16:15-17, and that promise came to fulfilment in Acts 2.

Become a member of that church by getting baptised into the body of Christ, after repenting of your sinful ways and confessing Christ as the son of God.

The Churches of Christ greets you. Rom 16:16

The only thing you need to know is Christ came to die for the world and He prophesied he will build His church (not a denomination owned by an earthly founder) in matt 16:15-17. Worship is everything we do in the service of God. This will include Praising God (Singing), Sermonizing/Teaching ourselves the word of God, Giving, Prayers, and so on.

Guys appreciate women who are clingy to an extent (i.e you have a life). At least it shows she's got him in her mind, and that gives a bit of reassurance to the relationship..
