If you had been following news reports and not being deluded by CNN, you would have seen insider info from Trump's campaign team had mentioned it.

But obviously, you are a God hater. Therefore blind.
So the CIA went to 50 States plus DC and added watermarks to ballot papers and nobody in those 50 States knew anything about it? Really?

You do know that there's no Federal election body like INEC in the US and ballots are different in each states right?

You also do know that some states had more presidential candidates than others right?

Foreign Affairs / Re: Biden Now Lead In Pennsylvania. by AZeD1(m): 3:11pm On Nov 06, 2020
saaron:
US 2020 presidential elections will go down in history as the most hotly contested election in America. But is the election fair? Can we say with all honesty that mail in voting in key states like
Michigan, Wisconsin was not rinsed with
fraud? How come big states like Newyork with huge population have no issues of mail in ballot count delays like Wisconsin and Pensilvania? What we're witnessing is nothing short of systematic fraud and rigging at alarming
level. Nothing explains the magical
(Trump's words) surge of Biden votes
and the sudden disappearance of Donald
Trump's votes in the current battle
ground states. The mathematical
numbers does not make sense.
Fortunately for Trump, he was on to the
riggers right before the election. I just
learned that Trump's govt embeded
invisible 'Water Marks' codes on each
ballot papers. Then every ballot paper
with the invisible mark was linked to a
blockchain. These security measure was
done SECRETLY by Trump's govt to
protect the intergrity of the Presidential
elections should the democrats attempt to
help themselves and rig themselves to
power. And they did sadly.
As we speak, US national gaurds, armed
with infrared scanners have been
dispatched to Wisconsin, Pensilvania,
Geogia, Michigan etc to scan every ballot
paper and begin recount. Given that
invisible security features were embeded
and hidden in orignal ballots, you can bet
that tons of Fake ballot papers will be
uncovered.
In truth the democrats played right into
Trump's hands. He knew right from the
get go that they will rig.
Now you see why Trump made his
declaration with confidence that he won
the election. Donald Trump is not a fool,
he know exactly what he's doing. He
made that press statement to grap dem
riggers right on the balls to pass a
messege to them.
You are very clueless and to be honest, it's not unexpected of a Trump supporter.
The US doesn't have a Federal election body like INEC. Elections are controlled by States so the ballot in Wisconsin is different from that in another state like say Vermont.
If you really paid attention you will know that Kanye West was on the ballot in some states but not all (because different states determine who's on the ballot not a Federal body).
So the idea that there are invisible features on the ballot box put by Trump is a figment of your imagination or probably what you heard on QAnon or Info wars.

Oh the reason why States like Florida and Texas can announce results early is because their Republican controlled legislature allowed early counting while those in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan voted not to allow early counting.

Celebrities / Re: Desmond Elliot Was Right In Calling Nigerian Youths Children - Ivan-Whyte Eagle by AZeD1(m): 9:22pm On Nov 01, 2020
Ishilove:
Some days back, the Nigerian social media users were dragging Desmond Elliot like Tiger generator because he tagged the youths as children. I was a bit indifferent about the whole brouhaha because wetin I dey think big pass all that noise and after watching the now infamous video, my indifference did not change.

Desmond later came out to apologise in tears for calling us yoots 'shidren', and while I was wondering aloud on this forum what the whole fuss about, my friend told me offline told me this-

"The problem is that the Nigerian social media space is now a lynch mob. Nobody is ready to listen to common sense, people are incapable of comprehending simple ideas and people are very intolerant of any view that does not agree with theirs

People are reacting to Desmond Elliot's video based on what they think he said, not based on what he actually said"

This friend shared the full YouTube clip with me and after watching it again, I realised how very toxic social media has become.

I stumbled on an article by Ivan-Whyte Eagle Lawson who has articulated my thoughts on this whole distracting nonsense featuring Desmond as the lead character.

Long post alert!! Stop here if your attention span is one tweet long.

https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=3538340332875410&id=100000984358442

The writer is trying to sound "smart" but he's not. Some things I can pick up from his post

1) Sports gambling and gambling in general is big business everywhere in the world. If you think Bet 9Ja makes money because Nigerian youths are lazy, then you are not very smart.

2) People have a right to be upset by anything they want to, it's their God given right.

3) The fact that Desmond Elliot is more concerned about the "image" or negatively of Nigerians on social media than the living conditions of Nigerians in Nigeria justifies what every comes his way.

Politics / Re: FG Takes Over Revenue Management Of NNPC, Customs, FIRS, NCC, Others by AZeD1(m): 7:51pm On Sep 22, 2020
Coldie:
It's a nice move this will help the federal government ramp up revenues as it would reduce the excess middle men involved.

The only limit is that this might lead to over centralization
Excess middle men?

Last I checked those organisations belonged to the FG and the workers work for the FG.

What happened to the Treasury single account? Wasn't that supposed to help the government manage and track revenues efficiently?

The simple fact is revenues are dwindling because the economy is in a bad shape and rather that look at the cause (**hint the cause resides in a rock) they are just throwing mud at the wall and hoping one would stick.

All those agencies mentioned already have directors of finance so what will this new ones be doing differently?
Would each organisation now have two directors or finance?

Politics / Re: Whistleblower, George Uboh Accuses Obaseki Of 'Monumental Fraud' by AZeD1(m): 2:20pm On Sep 15, 2020
We found numerous transfers made into 8-digit account numbers running into Billions of Naira;
We found numerous transfers in Billions of Naira from Edo State Government to General-Purpose accounts in different banks, including but not limited to Equatorial Trust Bank (which is not in operation), Access Bank, Sterling Bank etc. Posers: what does general-purpose stand for? Are these funds dissipating from these general-purpose accounts in these banks? The red flag is clear and convincing.

Anyone that understands this part should please explain to me what it means because from what I understand, this guy is complaining because the account is called General purpose account?

How is Edo State government transferring money to Edo State government fraud?

The whole epistle did not contain the transfer of money to a private account so what exactly is the fraud? That the description wasn't explicit?

Messi simply isn't captain material.

A true captain would have inspired his team to go on and win the match. I saw none of that in Messi.

That's not to say he isn't a good player though.
So teams that lose don't have true captains?

When Barca beat Madrid 5-1 why didn't Sergio Ramos inspire them to victory? Are you saying he isn't a true captain?

If after all the sacrifice and stress, you tear your home over insignificant squabbles, then it must mean you have an inconsistent or even absurd value system.
The problem is what you term insignificant might be a huge deal to the next person.

5k is insignificant to some people while to others, it's huge money.

It's very easy to say do not call the police when you are not the one on the receiving end of the abuse.

Let everyone deal with their issues how they deem it fit but if family is/very important to a person, I doubt you'll want to abuse your partner/kids.

I don't support abusive relationships, but when the police gets involved, say bye bye to your family.
Stop lying to yourself.
Anyone that cares about their family will not abuse the spouse. It's that simple.

It's people like you that witness sexual abuse by family members and let it go on because you don't want to "embarrass" the family.

Do you know what is called a culture? Nigerian employers have a culture of "abusing" their employees. So, thats why it is okay to not accept that you can't put people in a place for 8 to 24 hr and you expect them to be productive without providing other resources for them to relax physically or mentally. It has nothing to do with big companies. Its a culture. A small company or individual provides what they can afford based on their pocket.
There's a reason Nigeria is the way it is.
Most people don't know that a culture of excellence is built on purpose.

You cannot force creativity so forcing script writers to stick a schedule or routine is counter productive.

BigBabyJesus:

What do you expect from APC Zombies?

They think this hurts Trump while it only empowers him.

The only reason Trump isn't happy about the ruling is that it is not binding by law but by fiat .

Trump knows he won't be President forever and as a true democrat and upholder of the law and democratic tenets he sees this as a danger to American society just as Obama abused EO and rolled out DACA for selfish political reasons to get illegal immigrants to vote for him in 2012.

Trump can do same with an EO of his own banning mail-in votes and also issue mandatory voter IDs for intending voters to weed out the illegal alien base of the Democrats but the man wants a court ruling or congressional approval to make it law and not like Obama who issued fiat decrees in the form of EOs to his own political and corrupt advantage.

Obama was the worst thing to happen to American democracy.

Actually, you are the ignorant one. You should get a lawyer to explain the ruling.

The Supreme court actually said Trump can end DACA and the only reason why Trump failed at the supreme Court is because of his incompetence and rash decisions making.

Go to the hospital. Don't listen to anyone that tells you it's spiritual.

Lots of people in Nigeria have lost their lives because they went to the church instead of a hospital.

God gave you a brain for a reason, don't embarrass him by not using it correctly.

Exclusive content at the overall detriment of the nation is a big NO thank you.
You really have no clue do you?
Let me break it down for you. Capitalism isn't perfect but it's way better than socialism.
When companies fight for exclusive content, it means writers, producers and all back stage production crew get to eat because they are people willing to pay for those services.

Would you be ok if the government told you to share your salary with 5 people? You know, share the risk so that's there's less poor people?
Investment / Re: NBC Code: Netflix, Amazon, Irokotv, Africa Magic May End Investment In Nigeria by AZeD1(m): 5:41pm On Jun 09, 2020

I still don't see the problem here. Make it a shared risk. If you spend 1Billion naira in developing content and you have a distributor that wants your content in Nigeria, charge them a 100million for the content or charge them a yearly licensing fee for all your content, let them deal with the uncertainty of their own market as well. The staff employed by these companies in Nigeria is nothing compared to the amount they make. I don't mean to sound insensitive, but they can close shop here in Nigeria, sack the workers if they wish, but they should pay tax. If you want to sell content in the country be ready to do so openly
Do you know what shared risk is?
The reason why providers fund exclusive content is to differentiate their service from the others.
We should be encouraging competition and not stifling progress with our socialist mentality.

I honestly don't agree with what you've written.

Africa Magic is owned by DSTV if I'm correct. These foreign guys pay big cash to get exclusivity to content creators. This provides a big incentive for them to produce high-quality programming which their paid subscribers love and compels them to renew their subscription. They need that exclusivity to lure and keep subscribers.

Now, you take away that exclusivity and I'm sure the money they'd be ready to pay for content will drop. Content creators don't sell to them simply because they like their face. They pay handsomely. Not just that, it is easy distribution.

Take away the exclusivity and force them to license and you will chase them away or the amount they pay for content drops considerably. Local content creators are the ones who will suffer. Rights to Lionheart was bought for an outrageous sum. Genevieve may kiss such generosity if she wants sublicensing. She may just be paid a token for Lionheart 2 or 3 compared to what she got for the first one. Genevieve will probably sign it completely away.

I have nothing against sublicensing. My grouse is don't force it upon them. It should be more at their discretion and not for misguided patriotic or consumer-friendly reasons. Satellite TV and Web streamers run monopolistic and oligopolistic structures and it pays the content creators handsomely. If these foreign guys do disappear, local content creators will suffer.

Mike Tyson was asked why does he stick with his manager Don King even though he does not deliver the purse money he promises? He replied that 10% of what Don King still pays out is more than 100% of what the others pay. It might be the same in this case.

The funny thing is most don't know that for every successful content, there a plenty of flops so the successful content actually pays for the ones that flop.

I can bet that this law was targeted at DSTV for BBN and EPL and when DSTV sells the right to Crystal palace vs Norwich to NTA, they will refuse to buy and Nigerians will complain.

You won't die if what is lost is not replaced. How much does Netflix generate as revenue from Nigerian users, how much of that amount does it pay to Nigeria in the form of taxes? Big companies cannot continue to monetize our large population while offering nothing of substantial value back into the system. If only Nigeria was in a better place, the government ought to demand outright distribution rights from these companies for their content at a percentage. Tech companies will always scream and throw tantrums but the truth remains that these guys will still make a killing in profits after all said and done. Don't make it seem like they're helping Nigeria.
You still don't get it.

Everyone is free to create content but if you say I must share my content, then why will I bother creating?

How would you feel if the government said you must share your salary with your neighbour?

Netflix has a dedicated server in Lagos that provides jobs for people who pay tax.

Everyone's shouting about DSTV and EPL but they've not bothered about the local league. Even NTA doesn't show our local league but they want to show a foreign League.

When DSTV, Netflix and Iroko invest in content, they are not sure of profit until it's successful and the successful content helps to pay for flops.
