Wha-- shocked shocked Are you for real?

So Donald Trump can't be a bad person or else God wouldn't have let him be the POTUS?

I'm not joking when I ask you: is this how you think the world really works
Bro
Please save yourself the headache.

There's a reason why Nigeria and Africa is backwards.. We have no values and can't reason logically.

Air Canada is now banned from Nigeria, so is British Airways.
Air Canada doesn't even fly to Nigeria. When Canadians wanted to evacuate citizens from Nigeria they used Ethiopian Air because no Canadian Airline has landing rights in Nigeria.

You can bet your last Kobo that most of them haven't read the allegations. If you want to destroy a black man's business, just get a white person to scream corruption and people like the OP would swallow it without thinking twice.

To think that the person calling for independent investigation is the crook called Steven Mnuchin.

.......Furthermore, Mr Adesina cannot expect a country like the United States that has zero tolerance towards corrupt practices and gross misconduct, to rely on the report of AfDB's Ethics Committee that absolved him of any wrongdoing......

Please stick to analysing PDP vs APC as this is well beyond your pay grade.

In a manner, if the SM decides to censor free speech, they no longer should have legal immunity from prosecution. This is why Seun needs to remove all Mods from this forum. Your disclaimer runs at cross purposes from you also having moderators.
You don't have free speech in another's man's house.

In my opinion, I believe it was rejected because government officials wanted to hijack the vehicles for personal use but then they discovered it was "below" them.

Like I said, it's just my opinion.
It would also be good to see a picture of the vehicles.

Malachi 3:10 answers it all. It says all the full tight should be taken to the house of the Lord. You can give your sister money, gifts etc but ur full tithe is not negotiable

The house of the Lord is not a place but where believers are gathered.

My point exactly, it wasn't given any recognition at all because it came from Africa. Whether it proves to be potent or not after undergoing clinicals is another story for another day
It wasn't given any recognition at because it's hogwash.

Before a drug can be certified to be effective, it must have undergone testing in animals, then you do a blind double clinical trials.

The comments on this thread show why Africa is still under developed.

All the Madagascan President has to do is show the data if he's really sure of the cure.

Pls stop talking trash. This is an emergency landing /evacuation . It doesn’t require you to be registered. All you need is permission to land n evacuate.
It's not really an emergency landing.

Air peace is carrying some Nigerians to Canada and bringing some back.
Looks like a commercial flight.

I think it is all perspective and I also have faith in the fact that what you believe will come to you.
Even is there was no COVID issue, airbnb is an option and you can stay there till you get on your feet. I know someone who got landed in March and has gotten a job in his field.
SIN can be registered for online now, a bank account can be opened without visiting the bank. You might just have to wait to make deposits.
Truth is, be hopeful. The economy wont be fully awake for many months but it wont deter our lot.

As of March, many companies were still hiring, now they are laying off workers.
Anyone who wants to risk it should do so.

Why please?
Covid-19
Anyone landing for the first time will have a very hard time doing the basics, getting SIN(most service Canada offices are closed), opening a bank account et al.
In Ottawa, the apartment complexes that currently have vacancies are not doing viewings so you'll basically be renting an apartment without seeing it.

You'll spend so much to accomplish so little especially if you don't have family that can accommodate you.

Welcome to Alberta, Canada.
I heard it was already becoming difficult to get Walmart jobs (in Calgary), and this was even before the pandemic. However, stay optimistic, a different store in need of hires might still eventually call to ask for your availability. Spread your net as well and apply to different places.
This is the first I've heard of anyone not getting a job at Walmart.
In Ottawa once you get called for Walmart, it's 99% sure you are getting the job.

Health / Re: My Experience Trying To Get Tested For Covid-19 In Lagos by AZeD1(m): 4:26pm On Mar 23, 2020
prof800:

It shouldn't be like that. In other saner countries you can walk into any hospital and request to get tested. You can even call a medic and they will come and take your samples at home if you are isolating yourself and don't want to go out. They will then send the result to you.
The CDC is wrong, not like Millions of funds has not been released by the ministry of health to address this.
The OP requested the test so he could get access to see an ENT doctor.
Where did you get this lie from?

I can tell you for a fact that you cannot be tested in Canada, the US and UK if you are not showing symptoms or have not been in contact with someone that has tested positive.

The consultant stylishly told you your appointment has been cancelled till further notice.

Every country in world is battling to get test kits and they will not waste one on you because you want to see an ENT.

Spend some time online and see how testing is done around the world and the requirements to get tested.

Pls was your friend on a direct flight or connecting through Ireland? I guess the question is if you have a direct flight to Canada... in my case from the UK. Will i be allowed to land with my CoPR? I assume with CoPR air canada may allow me to board anyway... but just not sure.
I don't think there's any airline that would allow you to board with just COPR. You have to remember that people have been sent back in the past with COPR.

Well the Canadian economy is 70% dependent on the US and the current occupant of the white house is not a very logical fellow so Trudeau is trying to balance public heath and the economy.

There's nothing wrong in recycling phone numbers. Infact, if numbers are not recycled, then telcos would run out of phone numbers.

If you lose your phone, go to your bank and update your details and stop blaming telcos.

Number recycling happens all over the world because you don't have an infinite amount of phone numbers available.

You clearly lost yourself in this talk because I never said it was impossible to get a Sim in USA. I simply pointed out what happens with those who are citizens because you either pay through your bank account or your credit card and every one of those transactions go into the system.
You've still not answered the question. Which advanced countries limit the number of SIM a person can buy?

I will also point out to you that you can pay phone bills with cash or with a prepaid card in the USA.
