They don't have to move their headquarters if they don't want to.

The states in question should come up with a tax called Offshore Headquarters Tax.

So a simple law is enacted that says if you are an extractive company, you should have your headquarters located at least 200km from your highest concentration of extractive activity.

Now if you don't want to comply, it isn't a crime. You just have to pay the Offshore Headquarters Tax which should be minimum 20% of profits from extractive activity.
And they would erect a bungalow and call it the head quarters, what then would you do? Start appointing MD for them?
Shell has had its HQ port Harcourt since forever, what changed?

In the write up I explained why I think the the two are not unconnected but doctored by the same APC
The Apostle's lawyer claimed the girl had links with Boko Haram and they planned to kill him....How does that concern the APC? Let me repeat, the Apostle's lawyer said the "stripper in Canada had links with Boko Haram and they planned to kill the Apostle". Read that slowly and realise how ridiculous it sounds.
cr8v:
It was a transcript of his interview we heard, there may be typographical error, also some people are not good with dates and math
Or the interview was a sham by the apostle and his team.

cr8v:
And he explained the reason, she claimed she wanted to quit stripping and start a business which he wanted to help her do same. As a believer, I have also helped a lot of people who wanted to quit drugs or get a job, would you conclude I did all that for ulterior motives? common, reason it. Even Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead because he was close to the sisters. Not that he was making any demand from the sisters
He also claimed El Rufai would not be governor, GEJ would win the election and so many fake prophecies.... Frankly the words coming out of his mouth need to be verified before they can be taken as truth.

PS: David, a man after God's heart fell to temptation, but to Nigerian Christians a person who gives himself the title of Bishop, Pastor e.t.c cannot fall.

I think so. I made the statement cos most of the people that did not get their PPR within 6 months had worked with government or military before. They made enquiries and realised that it was security checks that delayed their applications cos they had to do further security checks on them. I am guessing maybe to ensure they are not government spies.

Please note that, I am not saying this was the case for everyone that had ever worked with government. It also depends on where your application is processed and your country of residence. Most of the people that fell victim of this had their application processed in Ottawa. Some of them have waited for over a year and are still waiting.
Do you by chance know what the security checks entails?

MANY REASONS TO PROVE THE ALLEGATION FALSE
Except you are one of those gullible, Nigerians if not any intelligent individual can poke many holes in her story

1. Her Fathers Denial
In her video, she said her father knows about the incident and marriage, an involvement the father has distanced himself from in an interview

2. The timing

Exactly when Suleiman was at the eye of the storm for his alleged threat to fulani herdsmen. A cursory look at the development shows that they started beeing on his trail from when he prophesied death on El Rufai, the plot started then. To the APC (who won election by media mind-control mechanism) the best way to bring a moral figure down is to link him with immorality. I believe they hired the lady hence Suleiman's accusation that she is linked to Boko Haram. Have you ever asked yourself how she got the direct line of Apostle Suleiman.

3. Apostle Suleimans reason for marrying her

She said he needed more male children. When did Nigerians become so daft to believe this story. If that be the reason Suleiman needed her, there are many other decent women he would have desired for them to become the mother of his children. Moreso the pastor already has a male child so is not so desperate to the point of dating whoever cometh. The pastor is too educated for me to believe he has such believe that marrying her is license to male children. Even a little Biology class in secondary school is enough to cancel that outdated African believe

4. The photoless and videoless relationship

the only thing she showed was a graphically concocted screenshot. if she can be so keen to grab the screenshot, it means she had an agenda and a chance meeting of both would have resulted to multiple photos and video evidences. Thats why I believe she was sent on a mission but when the pastor refused a physical meeting, she resorted to unending demands or blackmail threat.

5. Pastor Suleimans vocal stance
he did not just keep queit in the face of the storm or promise a robust reply, he was not afraid of the dirty secrets spilling out and discrediting him. A guilty conscience would have been afraid of how far his/her opponent will go to release his secrets. He maintained from day 1 that he has never met her physically and dared Keyamo to release the videos. What gave him that confidence in a multimedia age where a camera is just a pocket away if not that he is too sure of himself. I am actually disappointed that Keyamo went this low.

6. The wife vs Stephanie: A comparative look
When you see the beautiful and intelligent woman he married, you would know his spec and what he can fall for as a partner. Otobo is no where near his wife in all ramifications. In fact she is a direct opposite. If she has the Ese Walters look and swag it would even be understandable why the temptation was so strong. but for Stephanie, even Suleiman's security guard will not see her nudes as a temptation.

I have heard some major reasons people give for believing the story; one being that Festus Keyamo must have enough evidence before coming out. They forget that even Femi Falana who was a reputed legal icon accused Soludo and felt he had enough evidence until Charles Soludo took his time to educate him out of his ignorance. Unfortunately he hitherto had used the media to advertise his ignorance. We have not heard from him ever since Soludo gave him that lecture

Okpeke's Conclusion. This story is improperly cooked and its dead on arrival. It will end up making the pastor more popular to his advantage. Yes-All things work together for good....

http://okpeke.com
And the Apostle's story that she has links with Boko haram makes sense?
Or the so called father who divorced the girls mother 30 years ago but the girl is in her 20's makes sense?

PS: The Apostle has actually admitted to sending her money.

Bro, the story is just so complicated that I find it hard to believe the girl or the apostle
They are both lying.
In my opinion, something went down between the two of them and its either
1) The Apostle said he is not doing again or the Apostle has moved on to the girl's friend. The girl is scorned and wants to take down the Apostle and the Apostle needs to protect his reputation
2) The girl wants to be Apostle's wife but the Apostle like kukere movements. The girl is scorned and we know the rest.

This is my wild guess.

WeNoGoDie:
I don't trust a lot of pastors but many factors seems to make Ms Otobo's claims questionable which people hardly seem to notice:

1. The lady claims there was a kind of introduction/traditional marriage. This is one area her claims flaws greatly. Someone as well known as Pastor Sulaiman cannot do a traditional marriage without it hitting blogs and evening newspapers at least. Someone among the attendees will certainly leak it.

2. Traditional marriage of that caliber must evidently have at least a picture or video.

3. A relationship that intimate as the girl claims should at least have one picture of the two together in loved up postures and not just a snapchat photoshop that says nothing.

4. The girls dad totally denied her claims even when she involved her dad in her video testimony.

5. How come all these things are happening at a time some powerful folks are after the downfall of the pastor.

6. No fake Nigerian pastor will want to divorce his wife and marry a stripper because in an effort to hide their hypocrisy there are certain things they wouldn't publicly do.

All I'm simply saying is that the girls stories do not add up at all. Even when you listen to her video testimony, the way she's stuttering and fumbling and her lack of cordination easily showcases an individual trying hard to arrange lies.

However I always leave a room for doubt if I hear stories like this in case I'm wrong.
The Apostles story also doesn't add up
1) He said the girl is a stripper he met in Canada, he also claimed through his lawyer that the girl is a member of boko haram and they plan to kill him
2) The girls father said he didn't know the girl is in Nigeria yet he found her nude picture on her WhatsApp
3) The girls father also said he divorced the girls mother over 30 years ago but the girl claims to be in her 20's

Neither the girl nor the apostle is saying the truth.

OP are you a member of the Apostle's PR team? If you are then you need to go for more training.
All information from the apostles team is full of contradiction.
1) The lawyer released a statement were he said the girl was a stripper and in that statement said the girl has contacts with Boko haram and they plan to kill the apostle. The lawyer said they have recordings so we are waiting. You should ask yourself how did a Canadian stripper get involved with Boko haram?
2) The so called statement from the girl's father. The father said he didn't know she was in Canada, he divorced the mother 30 years ago but the babe is in her 20's....

Have you ever seen a well built home without a kitchen? Why rent a house with a kitchen if food is not a "problem" in 2017?

Nothing else will work without food, not even S€X.
Any woman that finds it hard to cook for her husband and family should not even think of getting married.

[Any man that equally hates the responsibility of raising a family should not get married; but this thread isn't about men].

I'm really surprised that this issue of food has become something to discuss. It is a norm that should be practised, not condemned. If the wife refuses to cook, who should take that role? The father-in-law? side chick?
I for one don't care if a woman can cook or not. There are certain foods i will only eat if its prepared by me so a woman's cooking skill is of no importance to me.

A woman's play station skills is more important to me than her cooking skills.

- Don't focus on IT which is skilled sector cos only a few people per population are in the field. Focus on the semi-skilled and unskilled sectors - especially the manufacturing and production. Majority of working aged yanks don't have college degrees (I think over 60% of them) and a lot of them need jobs. That's where middle America comes in.
The problem with middle America is technology is taking their jobs e.g the coal workers, while Trump claims the liberals environmental policies took away coal jobs, the reality is that those jobs went because of shale gas... It's the same thing in manufacturing, a robot replaces human workers and then you need highly specialised humans to manage those robots.

Trumps election is similar to Buhari's in the sense that they said what the disenfranchised folks wanted to hear, but we've seen Buhari's reality, Trump and the GOP also know taking Obama care apart isn't as easy as they thought it would be.
It's going to be the same for Trump in all sectors of the country. Being President is a whole lot different from being CEO, and Trump is yet to adjust to the reality.

Also, when it comes to foreign policy - he has also been pretty decent, regardless of what anyone says. The first few months of Obama's administration saw a lot of UAV bombings in the different countries. However, Trump hasn't really attacked any country, apart from posturing on what he'll and won't do. That should also be lauded.

He's also trying to create avenues for a lot of US companies to start employing Americans, rather than looking for free cheap labour in other countries.

Evidently, overall, the man hasn't been bad. A lot of folks just tend to follow the popular narrative of liberals who control most news outlets.
1) it's hard to compare Obama's term with Trump because the conditions are different. Obama inherited an almost dead economy with two wars, Trump inherits a wonderful economy with the US not actively in any war.
2) That part of employing Americans with protectionism is gone. Technology has made that almost impossible. Obama spoke with Steve Jobs about making the iPhones in the US and Steve Jobs told Obama those jobs are gone forever. A mid level software engineer in the US would earn an average of say 50k per year, with that money you can hire 3 Nigerians engineers. Also if your jobs require protectionism, you will be replaced by a robot pretty soon.
3) Obama deported more people than any US president but did you hear folks make noise, Obama understand diplomacy Trump doesn't and that would be his biggest problem. As CEO, he could hire and fire at will, as President, you need to be big on diplomacy.

Trump needs to understand that America is not a business..... The government is supposed to protect the weakest ........
