So i have gone through the thread and i have seen people say this utter ridiculous phase "Can't you say you are married"..

Since when has a woman being married stopped men from chasing her?

Any man who doesn't want his wife giving out her number to men should ban her from using a phone and also take her to Saudi Arabia.

As far as a woman works or comes in contact with men, she will be chased, she will give her number (one even said don't give your number except is for business or work related...like seriously), some will find her number and they will call so y'all better stop deluding yourself and face reality.

Hmm getting the number from the card is different from giving him yourself, the point we are trying to make is that her action will give the doctor the impression that she is open to philandering.
Her action doesn't signify anything. Only shallow minded people think like that.

Trust me, i couldn't be bothered. Getting someone's number, is not that hard. Its 2017 not 1950. A trip to true caller would enlighten you.

Madam it seems you need special deliverance..how will you feel if your husband dignified a girl by giving her number weda real or fake number?smh for some women..you just gave the doctor the impression that you are loose and can cheat on your husband, you should be ashamed of yourself. If I was your husband I'd do worse sef, what rubbish?A married woman giving out number.
What's the big deal in a number? It's something that can be gotten anywhere.

Let's say the doctor got her number from her hospital card, what will the husband do? Ban her from using a phone?

Mr. Intelligent I gave a time frame from which I drew comparison. You either carefully avoided it or just didn't see it.

At the bolded, I asked a rhetorical question and would still ask again: "what happened to the tens of thousand of graduates that the schools I cited have been turning out lately"

For notables, one of the links I gave was CNN. I can remember asking some of my folks about "Mali Music" and they said "who be that, when we dey talk about davido and olamide"! Every notable person have his sphere of Influence!!!

Like I said before, don't attack my person or even the school, bring forth points that will set aside my claims
Notable alumni's from OAU in the last 10 years?
Tolet ng guys, Jobberman.
Like i said earlier, based on probability, the chance of a university not producing someone notable in 10 years is very slim.
Common Sense 301.

With the high number and quality of students admitted every year we should expect better from federal universities.
Not really, most recent grads are still trying to get jobs/raise a family alumni issues would be the last thing on their minds. Also the higher number of students means more people, so the logistics of getting them together is actually harder.

Its easier to coordinate a group of 5 than a group 20.

6. YOUNG VIBRANT ALUMNI BODY

Of every university in Nigeria, CU has the youngest alumni body and yet vibrant. CU graduates are achievers everywhere they are found.

Ask of the notable alumni of UI and OAU to make your comparison; you’ll hear of Professor Wole Soyinka and other notable names that have been since when Nigeria was struggling for independence. What happened to the tens of thousands of graduates that these schools have been churning out since the past 10 years?
Though i find your topic petty, this post up here proves the point of people who say public Uni's are better than private Uni's.

Coventry University is 12 years, its Alumni would definitely be younger than that of older universities. That you consider this a point shows the level of your intelligence.

As for the notable alumni's, can you tell me one university that doesn't have any notable alumni?
PS: You should also define what notable means to you, because i'm pretty sure no one outside of CU knows any of the guys listed here.

CoCoLav:
Can Nigerian students be trusted to give honest feedback? Can't they be manipulated or used as tools by others who may have it out for that lecturer?

I feel this will limit the lecturers powers. For instance - refusing to let a student come into a class after being late or sending an unruly student out of the class may cause the student to hold a grudge even if it is justified.
It work both ways but for too long a lot of Nigerian lecturers have felt like a god. When lecturers treat students with the respect they deserve, things would get better.

That guy's research finding is currently trending on International journals...

He tested his formula on both male and female HIV patients.. Patients from both gender recovered fully after about 10 months. This is someone that drew his patients from hospitals in Abuja, met all requirements and ethical obligations both nationally (academic-wise) and internationally (for publication).

I pity the future of this country.
10 months is too small a time to test a new drug. Normally, you start with animals before you proceed to humans.
The drug might work on HIV but do you know what side effects it's has or will have?
On average, it takes at least ten years for a new medicine to complete the journey from initial discovery to the marketplace, with clinical trials alone taking six to seven years on average.
You can't claim you've found the cure after 10 months.

It depends on the internal policy of the organization issuing the reference letter. Some organizations affix a stamp, some do not. Just ensure it is done in line with the organization's standard so that it can be verified okay if a search/re-confirmation is done on it.
Thanks...
I can get my old boss (2011) to give me the reference of a letter headed paper but if i need the stamp then i have to go through HR.

Hi Y'all

Does a reference letter need to be stamped even if it comes with a letter head paper?
