debulle: So on point, the money they use in doing sandfilling of the beaches in Lagos would hv gone a long way in building low income estates outside the islands. They only think of how and where it will benefit them. Not minding all this noise of development in Lagos State some towns and villages are yet to get electricity, places that govt collect all sorts of tax hv no motorable roads and other social amenities.Let's tell ourselves the truth which new roads hv been built in this new democracyBy the time they finish building those low-cost buildings instead of sandfilling Bar-Beach, V.I would have been washed away. Thank God you weren't in charge of decisions back then, do you know how important V.I is to the Nigerian Economy?? You also ask of New roads........Do you live in Nigeria at all?? Even G.E.J's admistration that people criticize can boast of new roads scattered around the country. |
.........And when white folks say "niggaz are stoopid", we'll get angry. Simple thread of Nigerian locations has been turned into a childish diiick measuring contest. Truly,Because a person is grown doesn't mean the person's brain grew along. Witness grown men acting like pry3 kids. |
All these GEJ's achievements are comfortably counter balanced by...... (1) The current strength Boko-Haram has grown to due his mishandling of the situation. (2) The number of death of Nigerians in the hands of Boko-Haram. (3) The surge in high profile cases of corruption where no one has being brought to book. (4) The increase in oil theft in which Nigerians have come to accept. (5) The politics of division introduced by GEJ. (6) The Immigration deaths in which no one has faced the music. (7) The kidnapped girls of Chibok. There's Tons more to be listed.......For every Good news of his administration, something Negative follows.....Heck, Boko-Haram are emboldened enough to attack Lagos now since they know he'll only "Condemn" it. If he Stays longer, I won't be surprised if regular bomb-blasts in southern cities become a reality.......Abuja started from 1. |
swedbase: All the innocent copers he killed will are crying for avengers. The Avengers, abi??........As in all dem Iron Man, Captain America, The Hulk, Thor and the rest. |
I can't even remember when last EFCC sucessfully prosecuted anyone....despite all the corruption cases that have been flying around for a while now. |
@Bigass. If only it were that simple. The LASG would love nothing more than to destroy every slum in Lagos and replicate those estates they build all over........but the displaced slum inhabitants will attract sympathy and outrage which opposition parties can capitalize on to whip up sentiments. |
eaglechild: Please endeavour to read between the lines. The online character you adopted makes it hard to do. I would, if it was a poster like @Siena or @Ikenna. |
cocoduck: total rubbish, the question remains, did you contribute a farthing to the company? If yes then you have a point, if no, then it is none of your business, whether he fails or succeeds depends on him and his crew not some invisible non entity that hides behind his phone a claim a to be a business man. Fyi, he has been in the NigerIan automotive business from his boyhood up till now, so if I want to go into the same business I will do well to take a clue or 2 from him, not an educated illiterate like you. BTW should they average Nigerian you are talking about? I had to ask because maybe you are that average Nigerian. I have not been th o any university but I know much more than you do. HOMO STUPIDUSYou're talking local approach, I'm talking global approach. What do you know about Ferdinand piech, Arash Farboud, Ratan Tata, Henrik Fisker, Gordon Murray etc? Nothing, I'm sure. The average Nigerian knows nothing about innoson. Instead of dropping Insults, drop a solution to the anonymous nature of the Innoson brand....Eg: An increase in marketing campaign. If Hyundai reacted this same way to criticism, they would still be stuck with their low quality econo-boxes of 30yrs ago. Why didn't the go around telling critics "How much did you contribute"?? They listened to the underlying message and hired Peter Schreyer (he designed the 1st Audi TT). He gave them the "Tiger nose" design and they increased their quality. Now look at them today. @CoCoduck. This lower points aren't for you since you're sooooooo "Educated". I've raised 2 points against the car, if tackled will boost the brand. (1) Low awareness of general populace which can be solved with agressive marketing campaign in Newspapers and TV stations as a "Proudly Nigerian" product......not "Indi Anambra" or whatever. (2) Percieved low quality due to fact that they're based on Chinese Replicas. Solution?? I'll propose an adoption of older Established brand platforms for innoson brand, eg the BMW E-36 platform from the Mid 90s and maybe VW 1.6, 1.8L Engines from the early 2000s. Get a student from Conventry school of Automotive design to draw up a smart design and we'll have a global car that even I, a critique will love to buy, provided its not over priced. Brilliance Autos of China tried somthing similar and the resulting car was almost "there". Subsequent efforts will hit the mark. |
I've only seen an Innoson twice and its only on NL that peeps are familiar with the brand. I guess I'll have to experience one to conclude. |
eaglechild: lol!So why is the cheaper, better loaded car not selling?? The moment Innoson gets it right, it will flood Nigerian streets without Govt patronage. |
eaglechild: Audi A1 is not an economy carFor a premium brand, trust me, that's how economical it can get. 17yrs ago, the cheapest Audi was the A4 till the launch of the A3....now there's the A1. Why are they creating cheaper cars?? The smart for 2 and 4 are merc engineered and getting a Merc engineered car at that price is bargain. These are offerings from premium brands. You want more affordable mass market offerings?? Try Hyundai, Kia according to Nigerian preferences. But tell me you'll take your 1.5m to go buy a budget innoson or wait a few more months, add a little more cash and go get a brand new picanto or I-10........or better yet, buy a used Toyota corolla. |
eaglechild: Hope you are not talking about those killer econo boxes like suzuki alto and tata nano, cause Innoson is way way better.Have you heard of the Smart (owned by Merc)?? Have you heard of the Audi A1?? These cars are priced at low costs you'd never thought you'd ever find their products. Check lower, you'll find the VW up!, Skoda citi-go, seat Mii. Most of these cars were prepred for their African onslaught. Just wait until Hyundai starts manufacturing the i-10 in Nigeria. I hope Innoson will keep up. Its already happening. Instead of all these Nissan Almeras I'm seeing all over, why not Innoson?? |
Bebetter: Bro, you are really taking this thing personal oh, is your FATHER the owner of innosan motors? abi are you their marketing manager? your stupidity is surely going to get a promotion! don't be an id.iot okay, innosan's so called BRAND NEW CAR cannot be compared to a honda, toyota, bmw, ford, chevy or likes... innosan here is the NOBODY! i'll rather spend my money on a kia or hyundai that can be trusted. Wait let me ask you can innosan motors export their nonsense product to the US or UK market? NEVER! who go buy am. You now want to shove your substandard products to us and expect Nigerians to just accept it like that. It is people like you that think that the average nigerian is un-intelligent, an A-grade toks camry or accord will serve durably, with a longer life span than your new innosan motor. What about maintenance? how available are the parts? what is the resale value after a year or two? ZERO! we've seen the likes of the plastic cars on our road swell like an old shoe and fall apart within a short period. You hit the spot. Some peeps here make it seem as if b'cos its a Nigerian product, its quality or value for money shouldn't be questioned. Its a good thing that its a Nigerian brand but this is just the begining. What's being offered is also very important. |
All these foreign brands have specifically named Nigeria as one of their next target markets. Automotive policy or not, that has being their plan since their Chinese incursion. The federal Govt is supposed to provide expansion funds to enable Innoson enter development mergers with already established automobile companies in order to make their products competitive. If I was in a company and I had someone like @Cocoduck on the board, I'd fire him for not being able to analyze current situations, think ahead and provide solutions. He'll probably just start raving and ranting "You're jealous of our product"....... "I have "foreign" education"....till the competition swamp the market and brush em aside. |
cocoduck: That is why I refused to go to any university in Nigeria. it is this educational system that produce people that think with their anus. you did not contribute a farthing to innoson did you? so why are you bitter? or are you jealous or what? anyway, lès jaloux vont maigrirkeep talking without thinking. Until these other companies squeeze Innoson out of its supposed home market. Wekre talking of mental contribution, you're talkin money. The average person sees a Kia picanto! And an Innoson budget car at the same price......gueSs the car they'll choose......except for curious cases like you. Nigerian product or not, I see quality, I'll pay for it...Go read up on Hyundai/Kia's investment and innovation drive that got them to where they are today. You can't even reason that out with your "foreign" education. |
Nice development from Ghana......at least, Africans are trying to produce stuffs now. But no way am I going to put down hard earned money on either this car or an Innoson. |
cocoduck: Audi. Honda, Toyota et al have been in business since 70 or 100 years. innosson has been in this business for not up to 10 years, so we don't expect them to be exactly like them. an 8 month old baby can't fight against a 40 year old boxerThat's not my point. Either they are bigger or smaller than Innoson, they are eyeing the Nigerian Market. In the next 5yrs, we'll witnes an influx of small, affordable cars from established brands in this country. Is innoson prepared for this?? Every car company is launching smaller, cheaper, more fuel efficient models by the day, all in their preparation to enter the African "city" car market. I just hope Innoson is putting all this into consideration. Even the Chinese brands are already in mergers with these established brands to have access to their technology. |
rickkid: it's very simple then - keep on driving your mercedes, audi etc. No one is pleading with you to buy an Innoson product or have you seen anyone begging you? I recognise that over-inflated sense of self importance where you think that someone must have specifically had you in mind when marketing a product, because somehow you are so important and it is your $6,000 which is a life and death issue for a billion dollar business like Innoson. Dude who cares whether you can be 'convinced into an Innoson'? Who frickin cares?? Drive your Audi in peace then abi did anyone say you shouldn't drive bmw etc? This is a thread about a Nigerian carmaker releasing two new models next month. If you dont like, then move on. The Internet is a very big place. It seems you must be a staff of Innoson with how these criticisms are getting to you. Anyways, global car companies are already planning on cars introducing cut price city cars. Into the African market eg Tata, Suzuki , merc, Audi, Seat, Vw, etc. I hope Innoson's offer is adequate to withstand the upcoming onslaught. If you have access to their board, tell them to study cars like the VW up! |
rickkid: 'TAXI' is just the codename given to the car while under development. That model is actually called IVM Fox. And regarding the quality, I refuse to answer that pointless question. That's like asking whether air will provide you the oxygen you need because the air is Nigerian air - the product of a mind suffering from an acute inferiority complex. If you won't buy, pass by silently and watch those of us that do. It's not as if Innoson is forcing you to buy their products.Quality is key......after driving quality cars Eg Benzes, BMWs and Audis.......It will be hard to sway me into an Innoson. Chinese cars rarely see 5years intact so this vehicle has to prove it has an ok lifespan to make an impact. Abi asking for quality is now called "inferiority complex"?? |
rickkid: Nobody is 'giving' you anything. You wouldn't be able to afford it anyway. Wait till somebody has used it like slippers for 5 years, then go and beg them. Then they might 'give' you.Are you sure the car will last that long?? @Topic. The "Taxi" name given to the car isn't doing the brand perception any favours. Nice step though for Innoson and the Nigerian Automobile market but rivals such as the KIA Picanto isn't far off in terms of cost. |
shaybebaby: Where is my own? . Mummy Nono. Pls keep my X-box fresh for me oo.....no palm-oil stains on it. I'll holla u soon. |
Firefire: ok.I hope it is, I'll make enquiries this week. |
Since they like manufacturing and trading in Biafra, that simply answers how they'll survive. Countries with far less human resources, exposure and also land locked have thrived for decades so I guess Biafra's case will be no different. |
Firefire: far-awayThey are not. Its the same building template that's being replicated all over. I pass them all over lagos daily, they are even still some that I've seen under construction that haven't been featured on NL yet. |
All Governors in Nigeria are guilty of Muritala Nyako's crimes. PDP should expect a rebound soon for this recent re-introduction of "Rice for electoral votes", "Cash for cross carpet defection" and "cash for supporting impeachments". "Actions will always have an opposite reaction".....they should pray its not violent. |
berem: this should be an old picture. The houses are already painted and a big transformer installed as at 3days ago. The resettlement camp next to it has been completed a long time and due for commissioning. I think Fashola wants to commission both the estate and the resettlement camp the same day.I just sent you a bbm request. |
Firefire: Pictorial propaganda dead since 2011.How can you sit far away wherever you are and tell people on ground what is happening?? Your statement only proves you're either hating or you're ignorant. |
@ OP. Was she her that haven't went to school that you want to continue the love?? |
emidragon: You are an example of a person who looks but sees only his mind. This is not a matter of playing games or not.....its just plain wrong. What does he share in common mentally with a 14yr old that he wants a relationship with one?? You're looking only at the container and not the content. There's this proverb "Its not everything that can fit into the mouth that should be eaten"..........Meaning "Its not every girl that you can stick your d**k into that you should do". There are checks and balances and "age" is one. Except I'm talking to teenagers here that their hormones are still raging and common sense isn't high on their priority. |
traware: He is not reasoning like a paedophile. He speaks the truth. If a 29year old male has sex with a 12year old female,as long as the female possesses healthy reproductive features(brea.sts, hips, etc)according to nature, there is nothing wrong in the act but the act is wrong according to the laws of the land.Biologically, males have always been and are still attracted to young human females. If a 9year old female starts developing brea.sts, she will start receiving attention from older males(heterosex.ual men in their 20s,30s,40s etc).It isn't paedophilia its just natureI'll be honest here, I've met some physically endowed under-aged girls that looked attractive or were attracted to me. ......But the moment I say "Hello" to them, their "age" comes pouring out of their mouths and actions and I'm reminded of my true place. I just can't find myself sitting down to exchange sexual conversations with them because our brains are on different wavelengths, I'll rather leave them to younger, skinny jeans wearing guys. BTW, making a move on their type will be nothing short of taking advantage of their being naïve for sex. |
emidragon: Hey, dare! You are becoming too angered by the appearance of this situation. And apparently you are losing your logic.Dude, you're reasoning like a paedophile but don't know it. ![]() |
