All the comments here applauding the Uruguayans for giving Suarez a hero's welcome are just unfortunate because it completely overlooked the fact of the matter. Luis Suarez sunk its teeth into a fellow player for whatever reasons best known to him in the full glare of the 30 odd cameras recording the action on the field of play. Its abhorent that the Uruguyans are blaming every one but Suarez for the lengthy bans. Its okay to make references to misdemeanors by other players like Zidane headbutting someone etc, but the fact remains that these players DO NOT go about doing these every now and then. If indeed people acknowledged that the biting thing is a flaw in his character, then according to Jerome Valcke ( FIFA Sec Gen) its left for the Uruguayan FA people to help him seek medical help, therapy or whatever or even he himself earning such a big wage could apply to do so himself and stop blaming other people for his actions. the only aspect of the punishment I disagree with is the one that affects his club appearance, otherwise plain and simple he is a cheat (remember Ghana in South Africa) and a brute that got what he deserves

Anybody watching AIRPORT on Discovery Channel would actually see that there is an element of racism to this so called searches. Even when u hold the passport from their yeye countries, the colour of your skin alone is enough of an excuse to subject you to some unnecessary stress when going thru the airports.There was this black woman with American passport who was detained on the suspicion that she looked like another woman prebiuosly refused entry in the the UK, after several hours she was eventually let through. The woman complained that she has recently been to several European countries ( Belgium etc) and was never refused entry, now we learnt that Immigration Authorities within EEC share information with each other, why didnt the Belgians "discover" that she looks like somebody previously deneid entry in to the UK. The truth is they were not comfortable with her presenting an American passport and thought she was probably impersonationg another. We must face the reality that some of these silent BNP admirer 'funfuns' would always jump at any opportunity to ridicule and discourage more of the monkeys from coming over to their country. How many of us have been subjected to one form of humliation or the other at foreign airports and only talked it over with friends and relatives, but for the women involved in this particular issue to have really come out to talk about it ( even in a state of anonymity) means the story is likely to be 98.5% TRUE
