I think the guy might have a visiting and not a settlement visa (if indeed there is any visa at all) which means practically resigning to life as an illegal. The life of a resident with correct papers is hard enough at the moment talk less of an illegal with virtually no right or access to proper work.

Which visa were you granted? Visiting or settlement? I am guessing it is visiting since it is most likely you are over 18 and can no longer depend on your mum. If that is the case, it is not worth throwing away whatever good stuffs you have going in Nigeria presently to become an illegal immigrant in the UK.

If on then other hand you got a settlement visa, you can still make good use of it by retraining and upskilling yourself to get a decent job whilst still having the opportunity to maintain your ties to Naija

He invested the money of his state in his family owned business when he was still listed as a shareholder as registered in the records with CAC despite initially denying  holding any interest in the family business. Irrespective of how profitable the business is, this in  saner claimtes is called conflict of interest, a form of corruption and dishonesty in trying to cover it up.

3.Do you remember when as a governor some of his aides were caught with N250 million in cash in his official car near his private office in Apapa? If you do not go back and read about it, although Mr Obi denied those guys were his aides, we all know the guys were  probably thrown under the bus to save his image.

4, What about his academic qualifications? I don't want to talk about his certificate purportedly signed by the Senate of UNN on a saturday and with a dodgy serial number, but what about his O Level result? There is no record that was released to the public about the O Level result with which he must have gained admission to UNN. The only result that was tendered is the GCE result that was obtained 2 years AFTER graduating from UNN and even that result was filled with F9.

5. His NEXT International (UK) was wound down for not paying tax

We don't even want to go into the cases of all the times he had been caught out in an outright  lie but these are just a few of the scandals in which Mr Obi has featured.So please tell us with all these commas about the life of Saint Peter, how come you people are still maintaining that he is a saint?

It appears you dont know how the UK Immigration works. They are not obliged to disclose the reason for the detention even to you who is involved not to talk of the public. They will only serve you a small notice that you are being detained for Further Questioning... the line of questions might give you an indication of why you were stopped except if an outright crime have been committed. After the event, say you were let go, you then have the right to ask through a special process for the details of your detention.

In this age of biometric on passports and given the calibre of who Mr Obi is as a former resident of the UK and a front-runner presidential candidate in Nigeria (whom I am sure the UK secret service must be keeping tab on), identity theft and impersonation and detained for hours?
