While you continue with your shameless bitterness, then man is just forging ahead " shameful snub" indeed . I am sure you are aware that Nigeria was specially invited to the G20 summit by India majorly because they saw the potential in Tinubu's economic reforms. You know what! google is your friend, type Tinubu at the G20 summit and select IMAGES, you go see plenty there, oniyeye. While you are killing yourself with hatred and bitterness, the man has been invited to ring the closing bell of NASDAQ on the 20th of September by the US Chambers of Commerce.https://guardian.ng/news/tinubu-invited-by-us-chambers-of-commerce-to-ring-nasdaq-closing-bell/ PrinceOfLagos: |
I am learning something new. How many Islamic clerics predicted the outcome biko! I know of those asking people to vote for certain candidates but unaware of those making predictions Cantonese: |
When you lots keep coming up with childish allegations, it is up to sensible minded people to keep correcting you although sometimes it does not make any difference to what you want to believe. Just look at what is happening to Trump and his stolen mandate brigade, one would hope you people can learn from that but I guess not. Whoever told you what you want to hear is the one you want to believe. Do you work at the Appeal Court to confirm who was given the first copy of the judgement, I dont work there also, so perhaps those who work there are the best to confirm who got the first copy. In any case, I hope you know the copies we are talking about are soft copies of which any alteration to it can be detected. Can you prove that the copies given to PDP is an altered copy of the one given to Tinubu? DMerciful: |
People would believe anything they want to as long as it gives them some semblance of hope for their cause. Trump supporters were actually told and believed that there is a pedophilia colony on Mars where Democrats take children to have sex.... yes some people actually believed that so why wont others believe this trash poseidon12: |
Waaoh! It is difficult to believe we are actually having this conversation. Anyways when it comes to conspiracy theories even the most intelligent people can become duds. Watermark, Header on a scanned document? You see for an original document, any alteration to the content in any way render it inadmissible. For the same document, however, once you scan it into PDF, you can edit to mark the documents with stuffs like CONFIDENTIAL , OFFICIAL SENSITIVE, FOR YOUR EYES ONLY, PROPERTY OF.... etc in types of format either appearing behind written texts or on top, at the top of the page left right or center, ,bottom of the page left, right, center or indeed anywhere you like on the page. The question is did the copies received by the other parties have the same 'header' as this one we are seeing and if not can they show forensically that the copies they were given have been redacted in any form? And finally, this reminds me of the title of James Hadley Chase book titled BELIEVE THIS YOU WILL BELIEVE ANYTHING. So the Tinubu legal team were so daft to have written the judgement and even put their signature to it and the judges were also 'foolish' also not to have spotted this before it was sent out, haba! Make we dey apply common something now....... DMerciful: |
So you believe PDP's press release but not that of Tinubu's Legal Team? DMerciful: |
Where online sir, kindly direct me I am curious. DMerciful: |
Did you actually read the response from the TInubu's team? PDP actually collected the first copy on the day, have they denied this anywhere? DMerciful: |
Likewise myself, never would I have any atom of respect for any so called SAN who cannot distinguish between facts and fiction, who cannot distinguish between pre-election matter and post-election. Any of them SAN who argued that FCT is superior to other states in Nigeria should have his SANship withdrawn. Any lawyer who joined the kind of charade of a case that was presented by the LP who cannot present a lucid case devoid of frivolities and empty arguments deserves no respect from anyone. Any lawyer who is presenting a case for electoral fraud and cannot provide single evidence for it deserves to be derobed successmatters: |
How exactly did we get here! So people actually believe that Tinubu's people 'wrote' the judgement and were proud to advertise it a such by putting their stamp on it? O ga o! |
....polemic engagement.....Oniyeye. Trying to cover ignorance with useless grammar ![]() quote author=maestroferddi post=125684980]You are an insufferable APC irritant so you must be deluded to think that your petty reverse psychology would work on me. It is a mark of lucidity and high emotional intelligence to defer to a superior argument but we are talking about you who is clearly incorrigible. This certified true copy was availed to the petitioners YESTERDAY corroborating my argument completely that there is no basis for delaying the timeous transmission of a court transcript especially in the light of proper carriage of justice. V Just like I said before, learn to use your head more than your hands to type because if you had, this exchange wouldn't have arisen. You need to raise your game from the minimalist pedestal where it is now such that you add value to the polemic engagement...The copy was thus rendered within 48 hours after judgement... Now take a hike...[/quote] |
I was just trying to be kind with my response but I can confirm you are nothing but an ignoramus and it is very difficult to have a rational discussion with your like. There is a reason why you are given 14 days to appeal to the Supreme Court. I repeat even in a civil case it takes a couple of days after for you to be able to get a certified copy of the judgement and I know this because I have been involved. Stop trying to hide your ignorance with braggado, no one knows everything but if those who know are telling you, drop your toga of arrogance and accept it with humility. Not knowing something is not a crime, the crime is when you are told what you don't know by those who do but you continue to argue blindly. You argument shows crass ignorance because you cannot pre-prepare certified copy of a judgement that is yet to be delivered. What do you know about the process of processing a certified copy of a judgement? And that is the way it has been done and is not going to be changed because one Atiku or Obi lost their case. Haba! I tire for all these educated illiterates always coming on social media to form on things they absolutely have no knowledge of ![]() maestroferddi: |
Like someone replied you, it appears you have no idea how the process works and you should defer to those who do and stop embarrassing yourself with ignorance. You are implying that a judgement that has not been read out should have been transcribed already on the same judgement day? It does not even happen that quick in an ordinary civil case. What is the rush? maestroferddi: |
Complete drama queen. Laying the foundation already for his perceived failure at the Supreme court. Anyone would tell you how long it normally takes to get these judgement copied and ready to be dispatched to interested parties even in ordinary civil cases not to talk of a high profile one like this where all due care must be taken to transcribe correctly. Christistruth03: |
By my counting at least four APC members of the National Assembly have now been sacked in favour of either PDP or LP, some PDP and LP also have been sacked. A couple of rerun were ordered also. Is this not a confirmation that our judiciary is doing its best? Lots of people do not understand most of the technicalities that goes with these legal decisions. A very good case can be spoiled by technicalities if not properly presented, would you blame the judge(s) for that? Obi did not even prove any case of irregularity talk less of PROVING BEYOND REASONABLE DOUBT computer0810: |
Disgusting? To call out the lies of an arrogant brat who thinks he knows better than everyone else? ican2020: |
And people would start throwing bad mouth at Nigeran Judiciary because petition no favour them, as if there is ever a place on this earth where everything is perfect |
Bob Marley and the WAILERS! See Constitutional Lawyer dey interpret law for us here ![]() Religious war mongers are at it again,,, trying to foment trouble by instigating religious war like their Yes Daddy mentor. Which part of the PEPT proceeding and final judgement resemble Sharia laws for here, ignorance no good o eeetuk: |
Keep it rolling! Continue to abuse and insult everyone who doesn't say what you want to hear. Nigeria is tough na today he start? Abi one Nostradamus has given you a prophecy say na only Obi go fit repair Nigeria? Person wey get 8 years as governor of 1 state and could not make any visible impact na him wan SAVE a whole nations of 36 States, yeyenatu! Continue to delude yourselves. If you no accept, why not occupy Abuja's streets in protest as directed by your Area Fada. I expect you people to be on the streets by now, not to be making mouth for social media in the comfort of your homes Sooner than later, your Peter Obi will go back to begging all the 'Daddies' you are insulting here for support and then he go clear for your eyes Dumte: |
Bros look at it this way, some of us too believe in irregularities in the votes declared for Obi in the South East, but we cannot prove it, although there are actual video evidences of voters intimidation and teenage voters in a couple of polling units. Shall we say therefore that the votes for Obi in his enclave was MASSIVELY RIGGED? Shattuck: |
Bravo Chi! You have done it again...proved me right once more. Side-stepping questions with no meaningful reply Hyperchi: |
You nailed it on the head bro! These things no following sentiments there are procedures for everything in law. OlujobaSamuel: |
Sorry what is an 'agboro'. is that an Ibo word? Is it abusive? If yes , I wont be surprised because there are lots more like you on social media who cannot compose an intelligent response without resorting to an abuse. Hyperchi: |
I think you are muddling things up and a bit of clarity would help you understand better. So it is like this, INEC was the umpire in the election, their source of data is all the versions of the forms EC8, signed and witnessed by party agents and even ordinary voters at each Polling Unit. As the authorized umpire for the election, they have declared Tinubu as the winner based on the totally tally of votes as presented on the EC8 forms. Now, Mr Obi said no way, na him win the election and went to court to challenge the result declared by the umpire, therefore the burden of proof is on Mr Obi to show how he won and NOT on Tinubu or INEC. You have mentioned Rivers State as an example that the election was rigged, how many votes was involved in this case and how many of such cases were the legal team of Obi able to prove at the Tribunal. Can you also provide us the 'verifiable evidences' supplied by the independent observers you alluded to? Do you even know why the judge threw away the report of the EU observers? it is because there was no representative from the EU to present the report formally at the tribunal so they can be cross-examined like every other witnesses. Perhaps the EU observers would have been able to explain how they came by the report with only 40 observers visiting 1000 polling units out of over 176,000 where voting was held. No elections we have ever held in Nigeria is perfect and if the elections were re-run 20 times they are still never going to be perfect I only hope Mr Obi does not allow you people to push him to the brink like Trump because of the similarity of their 'stolen mandate' crusade., you can see all Trumps troubles unfolding now because he attempted to illegally without evidence (just like you people are doing now) try to overturn a free and fair election which he lost gallantly ( or is it woefully) Shattuck: |
Here we go again ' animal farm' an euphemism for your choice word ' the zoo'. Since the man is not educated enough to understand what Okutepa said, why not enlighten him. Forget all the technicalities that were thrown out, I think any sensible person would agree that Okutepa and cohorts for all the millions they must have been paid, did a very poor job of proving how their client 'won' the election. Even those of 'legal illiterates' that followed the proceedings did not see the submission as to how Saint Peter was supposed to have won. Instead of people to come online to make empty noises, perhaps you lot can do what Okutepa and co failed to do... that is, do a state by state tally of the 'lawful' votes received by all candidates after correcting the anomalies introduced by the 'rigging' and give us the final figure as it should be. YOu are most certain that Peter Obi won, so there must be a data that you have access to that strengthens this conviction in you lot, so please kindly share that data with us ignoramuses. DO this or just keep quiet and accept defeat, elections are not won on instincts or emotions......All I can hear so far is "we know Obi won but we somehow cant prove it" XY23: |
I like your spirit, please stay at home next election jare, Only people who can accept that their choice might not win elections are required to vote Hyperchi: |
Let them just keep damaging his future chances, ' Obi doesn't need alliances my arse.....' If this election is repeated 20 times Obi cannot win, that much is certain. They keep shouting 'heavily rigged in the north' without one single shred of evidence to back it up. Lets pause for a second and ask them if perchance the election was not ' heavily rigged' in the North shey Peter Obi wan win for Sokoto abi Kano ni? I am not surprised some of them think like this and I believe we can cut them some slacks because they have been so much deceived by the noise on social media NzogbuNzogbu: |
No sir , you did not get it, asking for a representative of the producer of the report to come and present it in court is to allow the respondents to question them about the contents. So you see it is either the LP lawyers are daft or they are playing smart by not bringing in someone from the EU to come and present it. This is because it is obvious that Lawyers for the respondent would have torn that so-called to pieces under serious cross examination. Like how many observers they had on ground and what is their level of coverage across the whole of Nigeria before compiling their report. Are you aware that the EU observers had only 40 people on ground that monitored only 1000 polling units out of over 176000 greenandy: |
So that gives the right to write rubbish? No be Abu's money dem dey take entertain Abu? Wodu89: |
All the wailing and lamentations here are not unexpected! Given the fact that their Area Fada even said they would not accept a rerun and nothing but Obi being declared the winner will do them. Prove how you take win, dem no fit, person wey no even win two-third of votes in the required number of states say make dem declare am winner, just because he won in Abuja. You dont even need to be a Tribunal Judge to arrive at these conclusions. I am thinking these cases should be dismissed with very hefty fines to discourage others from wasting everyone's time in the future. You should only bring cases to the Tribunal if you have something tangible to present. Yes the elections might not be perfect, but that is the same with all previous elections in Nigeria and yet those minor hiccups should not be used as an excuse to want to derail a democratic process. I guess MR Obi himself is aware of the possible outcome and has stylishly excused himself , from the court venue today. It is not too late for him to start preparing for2027 but truth be told , his Obidient followers don mash the ground bad bad for am. They have in their arrogance destroyed the goodwill from those who might have be sympathetic to their cause with their feral attack on anyone telling them what is different to what they want to hear. Anyway, anyone that want to curse himself and his family can do so by praying for hardship for Nigeria so they can prove a point. To sensible people, it is not about the last 100 days of TInubu, but it as about the remaining 1361 days of which those who truly love Nigeria and not those who think they can hijack it by force , sincerely believe that good things will happen. Nigeria has been tough no be today he start and it is not going to disappear in 100 days. |
Thanks for this ,I know it is always difficult for people to accept reality. The election may not be perfect as it is with all the previous elections in NIgeria, but even then the outcome is not unexpected. IF Atiku is making all the noise that the Obidients are making, I would say he has more legitimacy. On another thread here, one guy was insistent that Obi won the election , but tell us by how many votes he no gree. This is one question no Obidient has ever been able to provide, Even the lawyers for Obi were just clutching at straws by throwing everything out there, because even they are confused. It is either you concur that the election was massively flawed and ask for a rerun, and that would include a rerun of the National assembly election held on the same day also and the rerun would have to include ALL candidates except if any has been disqualified. That would be option 1. Option 2 is you accept the election was okay but the result declared was incorrect, in which case you will provide evidences to prove why you actually had more votes than any other candidates. Option 3 which is far fetched is to say okay we accept the election result as it is, but the winner should be disqualified and the votes cast for him be nullified because of so and so technicalities, but in that case , having come third, you will need to the same for the candidate that came second. But to be asking to be declared winner in an election which you and your supporters are saying is flawed, Is that not a contradiction? agabusta: |
