The question is did the copies received by the other parties have the same 'header' as this one we are seeing and if not can they show forensically that the copies they were given have been redacted in any form? There is a reason why you are given 14 days to appeal to the Supreme Court. I repeat even in a civil case it takes a couple of days after for you to be able to get a certified copy of the judgement and I know this because I have been involved. Stop trying to hide your ignorance with braggado, no one knows everything but if those who know are telling you, drop your toga of arrogance and accept it with humility. Not knowing something is not a crime, the crime is when you are told what you don't know by those who do but you continue to argue blindly.

It was the PEPT that fixed the date for ruling so any pretext they bring forward for not making the transcript of the judgement available will not hold water.

Maybe they were expecting the petition to accept their output without challenging it.
A judgement which tarred every application with a minimalist brush of technicalities.


You look at Nigerian judicial system and you have to shake your head.

Anyone would tell you how long it normally takes to get these judgement copied and ready to be dispatched to interested parties even in ordinary civil cases not to talk of a high profile one like this where all due care must be taken to transcribe correctly.

A very good case can be spoiled by technicalities if not properly presented, would you blame the judge(s) for that? The election tribunal rule which endorsed Bola Tinubu as the president of Nigeria was nothing short of Sharia law. I did not see the application of section 134 from the 1999 constitution of Nigeria. All i saw was the reenactment of Holly Quran. I condemn it whole heartedly. Why?
The 1999 constitution of Nigeria states as follows:

"A candidate for an election to the office of President shall be deemed to

the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja".

So, ask yourself this question: Why did the constitution specifically mention Abuja and not all the 36 states--which make up the country of Nigeria?

Also note that you can't request for a subpoena to a staff of your sch, you have to request it to the sch, it's the school that will send someone to represent it

So it is like this, INEC was the umpire in the election, their source of data is all the versions of the forms EC8, signed and witnessed by party agents and even ordinary voters at each Polling Unit. As the authorized umpire for the election, they have declared Tinubu as the winner based on the totally tally of votes as presented on the EC8 forms. Now, Mr Obi said no way, na him win the election and went to court to challenge the result declared by the umpire, therefore the burden of proof is on Mr Obi to show how he won and NOT on Tinubu or INEC. You have mentioned Rivers State as an example that the election was rigged, how many votes was involved in this case and how many of such cases were the legal team of Obi able to prove at the Tribunal.

Can you also provide us the 'verifiable evidences' supplied by the independent observers you alluded to? Do you even know why the judge threw away the report of the EU observers? it is because there was no representative from the EU to present the report formally at the tribunal so they can be cross-examined like every other witnesses. Perhaps the EU observers would have been able to explain how they came by the report with only 40 observers visiting 1000 polling units out of over 176,000 where voting was held. No elections we have ever held in Nigeria is perfect and if the elections were re-run 20 times they are still never going to be perfect

obi may or may not have been able to prove he won the election but he was able to prove that the election was rigged, rivers and others were case study, with verifiable evidence, independent observers, EU even the BBC, obi needed to prove he won, tinubu also needed to prove his vote, which he didn't, inec also needed to defend the numbers which they didn't, how he got 8million votes considering the fact that part of those vote given to him was later adjudged to be won by obi, rivers state in particular, yet the tribunal ruled in their favour, for the fact you don't like obi, shouldn't make you emotional or blind to the truth.

The election may not be perfect as it is with all the previous elections in NIgeria, but even then the outcome is not unexpected. IF Atiku is making all the noise that the Obidients are making, I would say he has more legitimacy. Even the lawyers for Obi were just clutching at straws by throwing everything out there, because even they are confused. It is either you concur that the election was massively flawed and ask for a rerun, and that would include a rerun of the National assembly election held on the same day also and the rerun would have to include ALL candidates except if any has been disqualified. That would be option 1.

Option 2 is you accept the election was okay but the result declared was incorrect, in which case you will provide evidences to prove why you actually had more votes than any other candidates.

Option 3 which is far fetched is to say okay we accept the election result as it is, but the winner should be disqualified and the votes cast for him be nullified because of so and so technicalities, but in that case , having come third, you will need to the same for the candidate that came second. But to be asking to be declared winner in an election which you and your supporters are saying is flawed,

Interestingly, I didn't even vote for the APC, but I just detest emotionally laden arguments without proper facts.

All the other parties have agents in virtually all the polling units in Nigeria. No case has been presented in courts based on irrefutable manipulated numbers. Everybody is just dancing around.

I also cried wolf after the election did not favour my candidate and was hoping the courts remedy the situation. But I calmed down after checking the 5 polling units surrounding my area that I wrote down the results personally. I checked online on the IREV and the polling unit results I took corresponds to what was uploaded online.

Have you checked yours and those around you?? Was there a difference? If you add all the polling unit results together to get that of the ward? Was there a difference with what was declared?? If you add all the ward results together to get that of the local government, did you observe any significant difference with what was declared? And if you now go further to add all the local government results together to get that of the state, was the outcome different from what was declared by INEC? This is how to dwell on facts. Not just shouting about electronic transfer without any facts as to the origin of manipulation. Even the so called electronic transmission is the easiest to manipulate by hackers.

What I expected to see at the tribunal are evidences to show polling unit results were manipulated at ward collation level/local govt level and state collation with proper facts and figures.

But what we had was just a merry-go-round case based on technicalities and seeking disqualification. Pure waste of intellect.
