To be frank though, this POS are not tied to any bank accounts traceable! The thieves are not dumb too, they got machines that withdraw your cash and shows no destination account in the bank servers. Only God knows how they got that thing going since... dont know how possible this is, having a POS not tied to any account in Nigeria, dont know how the merchant will be settled by the bank |

CharleyBright: It is a booming business in Abuja. Armed gangs posing as drivers and passengers and robbing unsuspecting passengers. But what I don't understand if true is the use of POS to rob. That will be a foolish thing to do, as all POS are tied to an account,- an account is tied to a name and BVN. If robbers rob and use POS to debit accounts, the account tied to the POS is credited. All police investigation requires is to trace the account tied to the POS, and the criminals can easily be identified irrespective of the fact that they withdraw the money.
Apart from this, pos settlement is usually T+1, you can actually, most likely if you report to your bank immediately before the end of the day, the merchant account will not be settled, also you can apply for dispute and you will get your money back. 1 Like |

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Don't Tell The Interviewer About Yourself, This Is What He Really Wants To Hear by babacares: 8:19am On May 12, 2017 |
lalabrother: No one would believe you if you say you have no weakness.
To answer this question, start by mentioning the weakness, how it poses a problem to your work or career and how you’ve started to work on improving.
Take this for instance:
Question: What is your greatest weakness?
Wrong answer: Hmmn, my greatest weakness is to sleep. I could sleep all day…
Right answer: I used to have to have a problem with time management and this affected me every time I tried to multitask. Currently, I’m working on this through the use of certain time management tools.
4. What did you Hate About your Last Job?
This question is tricky because you might be tempted to spill all the beans about why you hated your boss, the work, the timing - all of it! This is wrong, because the interviewers might already begin to picture you sitting elsewhere and literally dragging their name and their organisation in the mud as well.’
To answer this question, start by saying how beneficial the job was, before going to state one or two things you could have changed, if given the opportunity. Also, explain why you think the role you are now applying for is a better fit.
If you did not hate your last job, you can say so. This response can also be adapted, just in case you are asked why you are leaving your current position.
Take this for instance:
Question: What did you hate about your last job?
Wrong answer: Ooh, my boss! I hated my boss! …
Right answer: Well, my last job did offer me an opportunity to learn and grow in my career. However, I think it would have been better if such opportunity was granted in a less hostile work environment... I believe that working here would not just give me a better opportunity to grow, but also a conducive and comfortable work environment, which is very important to growth.
5. How much are you looking to be paid?
Now, this question is tricky because well, money is involved and while you don’t want to short-change yourself, you wouldn’t want to price yourself out of range either!
I know money is very important but when asked this question, don’t jump at the opportunity to scream ‘one million naira!’ Instead, you should have done your research on the organisation you are coming into and how much is standard for the role you are applying for.
If you are aware of how much the company really wants to hire you, say because of your expertise and skills, you can negotiate your salary right there. However, if this is not the case, you’ll need to fall back on the information you’ve gathered on what the going rate is, for the position you’re being interviewed for. In the worst case scenarios, you can request to know more about the role’s responsibilities and benefits packages. You should also mention how you are willing to discuss further when the time is right.
Take this for instance:
Question: How much are you looking to be paid?
Wrong answer: I can’t take anything less than ‘One million naira’!
Right answer: That's a fair question. To answer it properly, I'd need to know more about the role’s responsibilities and benefits package. I am quite confident that knowing the reputation of the company, when the time comes, any offer you make will be competitive.”
There you have it, the simple ways to answer tricky questions in your next job interview. Of course, there are quite a lot more tricky questions than I’ve listed. this is not always the case, sometimes (like the interview i have some times back), you will asked to give a limit for them to include in their report. |

Family / Re: How My Blood Sister Treated My Wife! What Should I Do? by babacares: 9:16am On May 04, 2017 |
omron: Good morning to all romancelanders This story am about to share is a real life story And I would be very glad for matured comments and advice before things goes out of hand I happens to be the only male child of my family I got married in the year 2012 to my wife that we were both from the same state Ondo state Lost my dad few years ago I lived in oke mosan in Abeokuta I relocated to Abeokuta with my wife from Osun state when my Dad goes to a great beyond that was 3 years ago. I changed my job and decided to stay around my mum in her house built by my Dad for sometime before renting my own house so as to ensure that she is not lonely. I started living in the house for the past two years now with my wife and my baby son who is 3 years now
I have 3 sisters and all of them are married with kids But I have this one very wicked, stubborn and hard hearted very crucial sister out of my sisters called Funke. She happens to be our third born while am the last born. She always feel so proud, possessive, bossy and always wants to take charge of any Affair in the family She has been like that since her childbirth She can talk to anybody anyhow, several times she abused my dad in his lifetime. I thought she would change when she get married but this irritating and rabid character keeps growing in her. To cut the long story short
About 3 weeks ago she came to Abeokuta from lagos where she lives with her husband to visit our mum
And anytime she comes visiting it's quarrel, fights and arguments all of the time
She quarrel with anyone she sees around and most times she took on my innocent wife
So when my mum told me she is coming to stay for a week in the house I told my mum I will move out to rent a guest house for a week till she go back to Lagos because there is no Time she comes and she doesn't fight . She has disgraced the family enough in our neighborhood so I don't want such to repeat itself
My mum discarded my opinion and assured me there won't be problem. As if I know, Third day she arrived she came up with her attitude by shouting on everybody in the house She picked up a serious quarell with me even in the area and started abusing me in the presence of neibors calling me different names, some elderly men came to settle the quarell. During the duo... She cursed my wife in Yoruba and my wife in her presence returned the curse that it shall not be so in Jesus name. My sister hearing that bounced on my wife and hit her in the nose and bite her..... In the process my wife got annoyed and bites her on her ear too blood was everywhere both from my wife nose and my sisterr outer ear. I was having exams that day so after the fight I left the house with my wife and she was to return to her destination in lagos that same day.
As I was going out I locked my room with padlock and when we came back in the evening I was suprised what I saw. My sister has broken the door to have access to my room....she carried away my wife certificates from her day one till present, and also my pictures from day one during my NYSC my wedding pics, and other important pictures, she wud have absconded with my certificates too if not that I took it to interview that morning. The most painful and shocking thing she did after that She bought a new blade and cut almost my wife clothes in the wardrobe and even my son clothes she pieces everything and destroyed my son toys
She even threatened my wife that she will go to to any length that she will separate us. She has been running around on what she said But I believe in Almighty God that I serve no evil shall befall me.
I reported her to some family members and up till now she is denying that she did not carry certificates and my photo album neither did she cut my wife clothes..
My wife have decided to take the case to police but the families are begging her to be patient but my sister is denying.... Am confused and don't know what to do next. Cos till now she is still denying and she said she can swear with Ogun or anything ... Pls save my family what should I do ? I will appreciate you all for your comments..... Thanks all why dont you rent a house and move your mum with you, then close up the other house or rent it out. |

Amagite: Actress Adesua Etomi and singer Banky W really did their best in keeping their relationship off the public and they won!.
So, I just went back to revisit the birthday post she made for him on the 27th of March, and I just realized that no clue was given! She just sent it like a normal birthday post even though they were already engaged.
The first underlined words got me wondering if that was the first words Banky W used when he slid into her DM. Remember she said;
"He slid into my DM and sent the funniest message and that was how we became friends. " and he said;
"Now I personally don't like being "hooked up", so I decided to approach you myself by sliding into your DM a few days later. Introduced myself, made some silly attempts to make you laugh".

Trending01: Following its sale to new investors, Keystone Bank on Tuesday announced the appointment of Alhaji Umaru H. Modibbo and Mr. Hafiz Bakare as board Chairman and acting Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer respectively. The lender also announced the appointments of Mrs. Yvonne Isichei as Executive Director as well as Mrs. Titilayo Tairat Adebiyi and Mr. Bulus Bunken Dan-Habu- as Non-Executive Directors.
A statement from the lender’s Head, Corporate Communications, Omobolanle Osotule, said the new board is a transitional governance arrangement, which follows: “the successful conclusion of the divestment of Keystone Bank Limited by the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON), which culminated in the Completion Meeting of 23 March 2017 and the formal handover of the bank to the Sigma Golf-Riverbank Consortium (the Consortium).”
According to the statement: “The transitional governance arrangement, which will take effect from the 1st of April 2017 is subject to approval by the Central Bank of Nigeria. By the 31st of March 2017, the current board of the bank (including the MD/CEO, Mr. Philip Ikeazor) would have fully disengaged, except for Mr. Bakare and Mrs. Isichei, who will continue as part of the transitional governance board.”
Modibbo started his working career as a Commercial Officer in the then Gongola State Civil Service, and would later join the Gongola State Investment Company Limited where he rose to the rank of Senior Investment Executive.
A 1983 graduate of Business Administration from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Alhaji Modibbo qualified as a Chartered Stockbroker in 1991 and was elected to the Council of The Nigerian Stock Exchange from 1993 to 1996. He is currently a member of the Investors Protection Fund (IPF) of the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
He founded Sigma Pensions Limited, and served as its Managing Director/Chief Executive from 1st February 2011 to 31st October 2016.
Hafiz Bakare is currently the Executive Director, Corporate Bank & Treasury at Keystone Bank Limited also overseeing the Lagos & West Directorate. Before his appointment to the Board of Keystone Bank in July 2014, he was running a management consulting and capacity development firm he founded with the objective of assisting organisations across different sectors to deliver sustainable value in an increasingly challenging and dynamic environment.
