Sgwash: so, Government and governance is all about sectional abi regional gains when I say this stupid country should b split, twill b like am talking trash... there is no and there will never b oneness in this country!!! u don't understand......if we always support rogues, and participated in GEJ's government when we had all the power in the world for almost 6 years and didn't ask for Biafra only to start disturbing Pmb's government with violent agitations because he won and we lost, is it sensible and sincere? Nobody sane would flow with such hypocrisy. It is very simple to demand for a referendum if we are not being teleguided by people facing corruption charges; tell all our gatekeepers to stop work - a peaceful strike for a week or something- and demand for a referendum peacefully. but are we really sincere? |

One of fears, if we did not put this greedy fellows on check and dismantle their structure, they will still be the one that will come along to be leader in proposed "Biafra". Rather than asking for the right thing and approach, some youthful individual prefer protest and violence as a means of getting what they want. hmmm. |

amaechi1: 30 % potentials. My brother between 1994-2001, Aba and Onitsha were known for shoe and belt production. People come different countries to buy. But some us who romance their way to corridor of power liaise with the power that be to lift the ban on the importation of those items to that they can import from Italy or Spain for quick turn over. Aba and Onitsha industries went under.
it may surprise to know that when west were busy offering scholarship for the children to school to reshape their future, most our parent would prefer her wards to go and learn trade for quick money.
It may surprise to note that during ObJ leadership, the Igbo were strategically place in most ministry as minster, we did not complain. But for 16 years, Enugu- Onitsha road did not receive attention. Rather, our political class were busy struggling for oil and gas business in Sao tome etc.
Our brother prof bath Nnaji from Enugu state- Minister of power was at the verge of solving the power issue, but our own from SS/SE due to their selfish interest muscle him away. The rest is history.
My brother, remember our region is land lock and most of people has invested outside the Igbo land. How would survive is the bubble show burst. God forbid. The early 60s to 70s is different now. Let ask our leader to tell us the truth and face good governace with the little we have and gunning for the big and fail completely.
Buy and selling from china or outside country will not grow your region, r oooh nwanem u too much! instead of all the insincere noise we are making here , let us tell all our politicians, businesses and gatekeepers to stop work and demand for a referendum from Nigeria peacefully. simple. |

As a supposedly intelligent youth assumably I expected you to be open minded about all these revelations and be slow to speak... Democracy needs a vibrant opposition. Aisha Buhari is yet to proof beyond reasonable doubt that she's not the one involved in the Halliburton scam. Likewise Fayose is yet to explain the source of the huge amount in his account.
Be a wise youth midolian. with your fraudulent reasoning, so we should ignore the valid points raised by Midolian and submit to your 13century slave mentality dressed in poor political costumes? So when official issues require official prove, a man on suit kneeling means or equities an official document to you Mr wise youth? Maybe you dont know that we are talking about the Office of the governor of Ekiti and a financial institute here which are more than a rogue called Fayose as well his bazookas abi wetin you called him sef, even if Fayose presently desecrates the hallowed position by his questionable presence. So despite the fact that all the persons involved in the crime have come out to debunk the Fayose false allegation of linking our first lady to an obvious impostor , u have decided to remain fraudulently sad by feigning ignorance n secretly wishing she is the one so that your master Fayose can swim to safety on this false blackmail? sorry your balloon of lies has been busted by official evidence ,date , time, Sahara reporters ,Ribadu, Lamorde, Fasawe and immigration documents. and if you ain't satisfied Bob y can't use the FOI leeway to expose what we don't know or even sue the first Lady?... at least she enjoys no immunity like an unchained mad dog of an excellency. BY SAHARAREPORTERS, NEW
YORK
JUN 23, 2016
E mbattled Ekiti State governor, Mr.
Ayodele Fayose, begged Zenith
Bank Plc to save him when he
discovered that the Economic and
Financial Crimes Commission
(EFCC) was closing in on him.
The EFCC, on Monday, froze two
personal accounts of the governor
and one belonging to his
company, Spotless Investments, in
the course of its investigations
into N4.7billion Fayose allegedly
received from the Office of the
National Security Adviser during
his election campaign in 2014.
Fayose has since denied receiving
any money, claiming it was Zenith
Bank that majorly funded his
campaign.
But SaharaReporters was reliably
informed by sources at Zenith that
the bank did not finance his
election, but handled money from
the Office of the National Security
Adviser. Last week, sources said
further, Fayose, rushed to the
bank to beg its management not
to share his bank documents with
the EFCC, telling that bank to say
that the constitutional immunity
he enjoys prevents the bank from
doing so. He also pleaded that
they should claim to have funded
his campaign, but bank officials
declined, saying it had already
given its word to the EFCC to hand
over his bank documents.
The sources explained that the
bank had no option than to
cooperate with the EFCC, knowing
fully well President Muhamamdu
Buhari's determination to recover
stolen funds. Also, the bank's
former managing director, Godwin
Emefiele, is the incumbent Central
Bank of Nigeria Governor.
In desperation, he returned to beg
the bank to help perfect
documents for one of the
accounts used for the N4.7billion,
but the bank again refused. Angry,
Fayose then threatened that he
will take the bank down with him.
Zenith Bank sources said if
Fayose got support any financial
support from the bank, it could
never have exceeded N50million
as donation. According to them,
the bank did not consider funding
a campaign as one of its duties
and was not even sure if he could
win. Similarly, they disclosed that
they were surprised at the deluge
of money meant for him during
and after Fayose's campaign.
However, bank sources were not
sure whether or not the bank filed
suspicious transaction reports,
given that some of the funds were
never entered into the bank
database. The bank was just using
its bullion vans and vaults to
move cash for the governor. |
