there is a difference between a criminal who forged senate rules to become a Senate president and the office of the senate president. we must save the hallowed chamber of the legislature from legislathieves!

There are principles of separation of power in Nigeria constitution. If anyone was short changed during the election of Senate leaders through doctored documents. The aggrieved individuals should do the need full and not the executive rascality and misplaced periority in intervening in another arm of government activity.
Tomorrow they will try to deceive their gullible supporters on the lack of synergy between the executives and the legislatures being responsible for their inability to deliver on their mandate.
President Adolf Hitler Muhammad Buhari stop this unnecessary and irresponsible involvement in power tussle in the hallow chamber. The economy of the country need your urgent attention and it is cancerously tipping into recession.
so what is the needful if not going to law courts?

BusinessRe: How Harvard Business School Graduate Started Tomato Business In Nigeria by Babacele: 4:55pm On Jun 27, 2016
AgricNation:
Tomato Jos is a huge for-profit social activity, which has created the first domestic Nigerian trademark of tomato paste. We work with the full tomato price chain (agriculture, logistics, and also processing). The source of our raw materials comes from the smallholder farmers.
Despite all the difficulties, Mira Mehta, who is 31-year-old graduate from Harvard Business School, did her researches and made the plunge launch of her new start-up, which is called Tomato Jos.

The US businesswoman, who had worked on some Nigerian health projects before (it was in the Clinton Foundation), told that she began thinking about different farming projects after she was driving by something that looked like strange crimson carpets. The farmers had to dry their unsold gatherings on the hot runway. Such picture of the red pools made her think that Nigerian agriculture where were plenty of gaps, became something like a big waste. That’s how Ms Mehta expressed her opinion, speaking about farming in her converted chicken coop the farm.

In the first year poor irrigation and overuse of different fertilizers forced the group to begin everything once again with all new seedlings. The rest were destroyed by poor infrastructure, extremely confusing bureaucracy and complexity of import of basic inputs, as, for example, machinery. Tomato Jos encountered plenty of problems and difficulties in its first planting season, which was last year.

Thanks Agric Nation for your quality agric posts and news. Mira can walk to any designated US banks and lay her ideas bear across the counter and she would get adequate support for such ideas. I have a 2012 Ferguson report on the interests of the western world on d opportunities which is available to the Miras of this world but not to our youths apart from sweet rhetorics from our government. Even Kenya support her youths ,and It s such support millions of resourceful Nigerian youths wish for daily here and you can help spread such interventions if you know or have any. God bless and more power to your elbows.

What of Zonkwa? Ask any living Muslim to go and claim there and they will tell you what happened to them. Even Namadi dare not.

Continue boasting, we are waiting and loading. What happened in Zango Kataf in 1992 is bound to repeat itself.
glossy dear please just ignore that man cos I think he is not a Fulani but ipob who wants to spread hatred.
from Barde to jagindi -godogodo- kagoro- kafachan-kwoi-gere kajuru- sanga- zonkwa just name it, the Fulani man presently leaves in fear. it wasn't like it before. Bad and visionless leaders caused that. From Ibb to Gej and if care is not taken PMB who got huge support from SA in 2015 unlike 2011 where Gej was their darling only to waste Azazi n Yakowa for Ibb n his boys to take over Nigeria. Rotimi Amaechi would have been in that ill fated presidential helicopter too if no be God! So you would understand why Amaechi did things he did.
I do not pray for another zango kataf and I'm not unaware of the 'buroba' that zonkwa can unleash not to talk of the other ready kegs of gunpowder communities in SA . so let us pray for peace cos we need each other. God bless Nigeria.

u goofed big time Bob...if you know me u ll see a Nigerian n not a tribalist until this entity becomes separate entities..n if u have been checking my posts, I'm a diehard Buharist and even support Elrufai 's religious bill despite my being a Christian but was convinced by the good that the bill will do to volatile Kaduna despite d huge sentiments. Nonetheless , I won't hesitate to express the true feelings of millions of Nigerians including Southern Kadunas about an issue very dear and toxic to our hearts. Read my lips: it is not only SK but the whole country that may react thereby aiding the country's enemies n theives like a guy at Ekiti's zenith an opportunity to scuttle this republic....if correct security reports are being submitted to the president, then he should know the implication of pushing this bill too far. I advice that some states can push it in their assemblies because it will b easy given the local conditions favourable to the bill but making it federal has dangerous implications that will dwarf Boko haram and Avengers combined effects.
I'm not sure you know Kaduna because if you do, you won't pray for anything that will tamper with the fragile peace that the state presently enjoys with its two eyes wide open .
Don't forget that many fulanis in SA are living in daily fear especially after 2011 post election violence sponsored by the PDP but was sold to the people as gmb idea.
So be careful of what you say please. God bless Nigeria.

Forget that story, Saraki knows his limits, he would never ever look towards that route, he is in no doubt that 90% of his supporters are only backing him for pecuniary reasons, it's all where belle face & getting major cut of the National cake, no more, no less!!

Of what use is it to waste resources and build an airport when fulani controlled Aviation ministry will not allow a kite to land there?
You only know how to go into the creeks to take oil but can't build a viable seaport at PH and Calabar.
The same Calabar that was the most viable seaport in West Africa 80 years ago.

If una see truth make una dey talk abeg. When everyone goes his way, an Efikman will not need permission from fulani to build a VIABLE seaport, A rivers man will not need to stay without a Seaport because Fulani are comfortable with only Lagos port serving 170 million because the Custome tax and dutied must not go to the East.
I'm all for truth no matter if it's affects me.

rex0105:
Hello House,

I'm new to the poultry farming business but still I'm in love with the profession hence my approaching the house and experts who's experience and invaluable contributions and opinion would be highly appreciated.
I want to venture into the field with a 1000 birds (Layers), my questions are:

1. Should I go for a day old birds or POLs as a newbie in the field.
2. Cost implication of both categories.
3. Challenges to be anticipated in both categories.
4. What type and where to source for both classes of birds, poultry is to be situated close to Ifo along Abeoukta Expressway.
5. Any other suggestions will greatly welcome.

Thanks.
with the FG closing the border, n the primary school feeding program, egg n broiler business is the new gold mining in town so 1000 layers for example is not much if you are serious about monitoring and quality control viz:
1. 1 worker or farm attendant well care for is a must if you won't b around. he would b responsible for feeding d birds; litter management, feed transporting ,security n reporting to you.
2. At peak performance, 3 months into lay, 1000layers for example will give u an average of 25 to 28 crates daily @ N700(which may increase) = N19,600 daily while you feed 4 bags daily at about N11,500 saving about N6,000 daily if u remove N2000 for salary n logistics.
birds lay 247, so you have 6k x 30 = 180,000monthly for abt 9 months n can b non stop if you plan ahead.
so you need to be conscious of 1. quality feed n feeding, 2. Biosecurity, 3. water quality ,4. theft , vaccination schedule etc .....

What do you need to put in place ice like cost of production before u can get to the above stage? what do u have?
